990 tax class
Auto populate the 990 newly created tax class field using Charity Check but allow for manual overrides..

This functionality was released on December 1st, 2021. Added a 990 report for Grants to Individuals. Grantee's that are individuals will be included in this report. Enhanced the 990 export to include the IRC Section Code and Grant Purpose. The IRC Section Code will be populated from the new Tax Class field that is user defined in Profile Types.

Hate Groups, Extremist Groups
It would be very helpful to have Foundant flag groups deemed as hate groups, and/or extremist groups by using some type of source to notify users that this organization has been flagged when trying to create a grantee profile with a particular EIN, or doing the charity check in GuideStar.

Bulk Edit - Payment schedule date and grant date
We would really love to have a bulk edit option for the payment schedule date and bulk edit date. To offer some context from an accounting perspective, the concern is that the grant date and edit payment schedule dates are different especially when grants are entered or submitted on a certain date but are needing to be paid on a schedule, typically a Friday for us. Dynamic "Primary Org Contact" field replace static "Contact" field
On an organizational profile record, the static fields "Contact" and "Contact Title" allow you to type in a name and title, which then populate the address blocks on that record. Those fields appear on check letter and grant letter templates.
There is also an option to select an individual which is linked to the organization as a "Primary Org Contact". That selection makes a dynamic link to the individual. However, "Primary Org Contact" is not an available merge field on any template.It would be ideal to have that dynamic, linked indication available as a merge field or (even better!)…

Display default payment type when entering grant
There should be a way to know that a grantee is set up to receive ACH payments while you are entering the grant. Right now I have to go all the way back to the profile to see if they are ACH. This would help when choosing what letter template to use.

Fields available for Bulk Update/Import/Delete on Records
It would be nice to have the availability to bulk update/import/delete all fields on a record (profile, gift, grant, fund, etc)
Because of the volume of each of those items in a database it become tedious and tiresome to do some of the most simple and routine task.

Turn off notifications when deactivating CSuite user
When we "Make Inactive" a CSuite user when an employee leaves, it should automatically turn off any notifications to that user.
Currently, we have to remember that a person is receiving "grant request notification" emails for example, and uncheck the box manually BEFORE deactivating the user, or else those emails will continue. Worse, when you go to see whether they are included in the list of people receiving this notification, their name won't even appear... which requires you to reactivate the user just to be able to turn the notifications off.
It's nice when you don't have to do these…

Beneficiary "On hold" or Inactive
Allow for making a distribution to a Beneficiary on a fund "on hold" so that it will not be created when spendable grants are done. we have many funds that have beneficiaries as part of their fund agreement but the distribution is on hold for various reasons (the fundholders desire the fund to get to a certain level before making distributions, the fund is waiting for proceeds from life insurance, etc.). But we would like to have the beneficiary information created on the fund so it can easily be "activated" when the hold is removed.

Recurring Grant: Calendar End Date Option
When entering a recurring grant through fund manager or directly through Csuite, there is currently no option to specifically enter a calendar end date. There is the option to choose the "number of recurring" or "max recurrence," but there is no option to choose an actual calendar year end date for the recurring grant. For example, if I want to end quarterly gifts on 1/5/2028 that began on 10/5/2021, instead of putting the end date as "1/5/2028" I actually have to count the recurrence as 26 and put in that specific number. Expand the Fund Beneficiary options from just percentages to both specific amounts and percentages.
We have donors who have designated multiple fund beneficiaries and request that one beneficiary receive a dollar amount, and then the others receive percentages of what is then available each year. Or several beneficiaries are to receive specific amounts and a final one to receive 100% of the residual. The work-around to set up recurring grants and process them before the percentages kick in is an opportunity for mistakes and is not sustainable for these perpetual grants. Please create the option of having a blend of percentages and fixed amounts so that we can fulfill donor intent efficiently. THANKS.

Log for Online Grant Requests Before Creating the Grant
Currently the first log item for an Online Grant Request is once the grant is created. However, the grantee can be changed before the grant is created. If an incorrect change was made to the grantee field, there's no backup of the original Fund Advisor's request. Please have the log show when changes are made to the grantee before the online grant request is created.

Fiscal Sponsorships/Sponsored Orgs
Currently, the ? icon for the "sponsored org" field indicates this is the vendor the check will be made out to. We're having trouble making that work when giving to a group with a fiscal sponsor, though this is the field we've been directed to use for those situations. The check needs to be made out to the fiscal sponsor, since that's the legal entity, but it makes no sense to put the sponsor in the "Sponsored Org" field, since it's the opposite of that. Cancel Interfund Grant/Donation
We have multi payment and multi year interfund grants/donations that sometimes need to be canceled or reversed. Right now they cannot be canceled unless you pretend to pay it and the pretend to pay it back by the receiving fund. There should be the ability to reverse the unpaid Receivable/Payable without pretending to pay it.

payment date
The payment date for grants should automatically become the check date. It doesn't make sense for the payment date to be the date it was entered and causes confusion with donors wondering why organizations haven't received checks when the payment date is before the grant date and/or before the date checks are run.

Destination funds for internal grants named on fund statements
We just realized that when we pull fund statements, the grantee for internal grants is listed as our Foundation rather than the destination funds. We want the donors to know their grants went into the correct funds, so we'll have to hand write the destination funds on all the paper statements. It would be great if fund statements could name the destination funds for internal grants.

Change Grantee in Grant Request to internal fund
After a grant request has come over from the portal and is in the new bucket, we have the option to change the grantee. However, this only allows us to select a grantee profile and does not include any of our internal foundation funds. It would be nice if there was also the option to change the grantee to a foundation fund and process as an internal grant. Thanks for considering!

Interfund - Fund Name not in Description
Please add the Fund Name in the inter-fund Descriptions & P-Description (currently it just says our Foundation name) of where the grant is going to. Thank you.
