Public Securities Donations To Multiple Funds
Would like the ability to split or allocate a public security donation to more than one fund.

Bank reconciliations
It would be helpful on the Bank Rec screen to be able to refresh or filter the screen based on checked/unchecked items. So once items have been checked off, you can refresh the screen to show only what has been left open. It would save a lot of time scrolling up and down while doing a rec.

Update the Submit button on the Grant Request manual entry
When Fund Advisors are entering in a grantee manually rather than utilizing the search, "Submit" can be confusing. I have had multiple FA's reach out concerned that they weren't going to be able to input the Amount or Description before hitting Submit. Please use a different word here that lets Fund Advisors know there is more to be done.

Link internal grant to opportunity
When a fundholder recommends a grant to fulfill an opportunity, there should be a way to link this in the same way a donation is able to be linked to an opportunity.

Donor Contact
Since one of the primary purposes of Community Suite is customer relations management (CRM), there needs to be more sophisticated options for recording contact with donors. Right now the only way to do this is to add a note for each contact. Other CRM systems I have used make it much easier to open a box to record each contact: date, nature of contact (phone, email, visit, etc.), who made the contact, etc. This should be stored in such a way that it is easy to pull up a list of all contacts with a particular donor.

Cumulative donation field option for custom reporting
I would like a way to report out a donor's cumulative donations, both direct and advised, without having to sort through and organize tens of thousands of donations in an Excel spreadsheet. There is a custom reports field option for donation amount; I would like one that totals ALL donations from a donor so we are able to - for example - pull donors whose $100 donations add up to $2,500.

Add Online Donation Description to the Description Field not Notes FIeld
Currently, when a donor adds a donation description to a Stripe donation it is housed as a note. It would be nice if the description was plugged into the "Description" field (currently description is "Online Donation") so the Fund Advisor can see all donation designations from the portal, and the tax receipt pulls the donation description field

Permissions - allow users to delete own reports
We would like the permissions around deleting reports to be just a little more granular.
We understand there is currently an advanced permission to delete reports, meant to be assigned for "cleanup" as it would allow a user the ability to delete ANY saved custom report.
Rather than go quite this far, we would like another option. We would like an option that could be more safely enabled for ALL users... which is the ability for a user to delete their OWN reports.

View Grantee Address While Creating the Grant
It would be great to be able to view and change/select the mailing address of the Grantee from the Grant ID view. Several grantees have multiple offices/branches/P.O. Boxes and this would help eliminate some of those issues. Adding a drop down of current Grantee addresses below where you select the Grantee would be a huge help.
This will also allow our approvers to see that the grant will get mailed to the correct address, versus a different branch or outdated one, before they're being printed on checks and letters.

Financial view comparison of two different years
I would like to be able to pull a financial report that would give me current month actual, annual budget, ytd actual and prior year month actual, and prior year ytd actual. We currently give our board current year information and prior year information to determine how we are doing.

Notes: Collapse list to show most recent with ability to show all
Notes - many of our profiles have pages and pages of notes because currently each note is shown in it's entirety. I was wondering if we could only show the first 5 (?) lines of a note on the profile. Then have the option to click on a "show more" button or click on the note itself to get the full note to appear. This would allow for an 'at a glance' option to find the note we need to view.

Bank reconciliations
It would be helpful to have the Bank Rec report pop up immediately upon reconciliation, rather than have to go back into the history report to print. I have never seen a system that did not do that. Also, we should be able to print a rec for a month in which there was no activity, to still show proper balances for current months.

Fund Statement Template Fields: add all account types
It would be very helpful if the fund statement field available for equity accounts - equity_(account number) - were available for all account types (income, expenses, assets, liabilities). We have some unique calculations that are needed for certain fund types and if we could just pull account balances from specific accounts, we would be able to do the calculations on the template. But since the various account types (except Equity) can only be displayed within their own "block", we are unable to make these calculations and therefore have to produce the statements outside of CommunitySuite.

pledge reminders - option to download to word
When generating Pledge Reminders/Statements, it would be very helpful to be able to merge them into Word so changes can be made to specific letters. Currently after clicking on Payment Documents all the pledge letters are merged into a PDF.

export task notes
We have a custom Task report we use for activity around Opportunities. It works well EXCEPT there is no field for task notes. (If you are in the process of adding one - and I hope you are - the following idea is moot).
It would be helpful to be able to export from the Tasks field. Specifically, completed tasks, in order to get the notes in a spreadsheet that we can merge with our activity reports.
I'm not sure if there is a notes field in All My Tasks, but it would be helpful to have one and also be able to export this data for the same reason as above. Essentially, we just want to be able to include task notes in our custom reports.We have a custom Task report we use for activity around Opportunities. checks: notification of approval
It would be great to get an email when check approval has been done by the approval so the person who prints/posts the payments would know it was time to continue the process.

Make Opportunity Type Inactive
Past users sometimes create Opportunity/Note/Task types that are no longer useful to current staff. Please create an option to make those types "Inactive" rather than simply deleting them - we may want to keep the historic data in CSuite, but NOT on the Drop down list. It would help to clean things up and streamline categories.

Adding prospect profile reports and incorporating prospect research fields
In other DBs I’ve used there is a way to export a complete donor/prospect profile report that lists all information in the person’s record (contact info, prospect ratings, relationships, giving, granting (is applicable), notes, etc. in an exportable report – preferably into Word or a PDF. This is very useful for us to use as a working doc in a prospect meeting. (Perhaps I’m just to old school, but paper one can make notes on is still very helpful.)
Another VERY helpful element would be the ability for Foundant to pull in fields from one of the major prospect research services like Wealth Engine. This would provide a strong and consistent element for assessing and rating prospects, and consequently for focus put upon them.
Both of these components are, to me, key to being a really good advancement CRM.

Donor/FA Portal: Add sticky note/flag to view upon login
How cool would it be if you could add a sticky note/flag to a portal log in (kind of like you can do with sticky notes in CSuite). I don't mean an attached file. I mean more like a flag that appears only for selected portal logins that tells that specific portal user something special.
