Tributes Search Field When Entering Donations
When you are in the Tributes page, you can search a name and it will show who the person to notify is behind the searched name.
Ex. Jane Doe [Doe, John] (public)
It would be nice if the same kind of populated search would show when entering a donation. I find if there are two different notifications, I have to go into the Tributes page and look to see which I need to choose. AND if they would be labeled the exact same (Example: "Jane Doe" and "Jane Doe" vs "Jane Doe" and "Dr. Jane Doe" I have no idea how to tell which is which.

Financial Views
When adding an account group in the financial view, it would be helpful to be able to have a box "select all" accounts and then unselect the ones that are not needed. Otherwise, it takes a long time to select a large group of accounts.

Custom Reporting: Portal Edit Report
To maintain data integrity and streamline auditing/reviewing, I propose a Fund Advisor Portal Edit Report that tracks fund advisor profile modifications in the portal. This report would summary any changes that the fund advisor makes to their profile within the portal. This would include, change of username, address, phone number, the new banking information, TIN, SSN, etc. Currently, an email is sent to say there was a change but users have to go into the log to find what was changed or updated. If created, this report will improve oversight, ensuring accurate data and easier auditing/reviewing.

Donation Portal: Filter/Search Funds
An option for users to select multiple fields (radio buttons/checkboxes) rather than just searching for a fund.
So, the checkboxes could allow a user to select two different service areas and filter the funds that way.
Anything in the works for filtering funds?

opportunities
It would be helpful for tasks associated with an opportunity to be marked complete or in some way removed from open tasks when the opportunity has been closed. Presently, the tasks stay active, which requires another step to close an opportunity.

Grant Report Due Notifications
It would be great if you could create a task for grant reports that are due and link them to the grant report due, assigned to the individual responsible for collecting and reviewing the reports. That way there would be an easy spot to see any overdue reports and follow up with grantees without having to track in an external location.

When building a custom report, it would be very useful to be able to report on fields from multiple objects at once. Systems I have used with this capability approached it by starting with a primary object selection (donations for example) and then once you add the unique field for another object (profile id of the donor for example), your list of fields would expand to show all of the fields associated with that new object. Event just the ability to expand into 2 objects would solve a lot of cases where we currently need to pull multiple reports into excel and then combine together.

View/Edit/Delete Custom Field Import
Previous Journal Entry bulk imports can be viewed/edited/deleted easily. The same should be true of custom field imports. Currently there is no way to reverse a custom field import and since these imports can change large amounts of data, there should be an option to reverse or undo the import.

View/Delete Previous Imports for Custom Fields
For Journal Entry imports, you can view previous imports and view/unpost/delete the transactions tied to those import events. The same should be true for the custom field imports. Right now, there is no way to reverse a custom field import if it is made in error. The poses a threat to the data as large amounts of data can be altered and then lost.

Promise and Event Tickets
Some donors have committed to attending an event, and we would like the ability to attach event tickets to a promise (with no finance involvement). We cannot use a pledge, as some commitments are paid in various ways and require complex financial processing to adjust and apply payments. Using a promise will enable us to reserve the tickets until payment is applied. This approach will also allow us to present the reserved seats and the remaining balance.

This was suggested in 2022 & archived without being implemented, but I'm re-posting because I would find it very helpful to be able to export the list of undeposited items in the till. I often need to add totals by period and currently have to manually add them. There are also times I need to sort by something other than date.

All Bulk Update Files Consolidated into a Single Bulk Update File
When Bulk Updating profiles, there are four different files to bulk update the profiles with. When editing profiles, we usually need to update all four areas of the profile and this requires us to download and manipulate all four.
Instead, it would be better if they were consolidated into a single file/sheet so we could update all of those fields in one go. This would make this process much less tedious and allow us to make one bulk edit, instead of four individual bulk edits.
We aren't asking to get rid of the four individual bulk update files, but instead, add a fifth option that has all fields in one file.

It would be helpful to add filters to the grant document bucket similar to all of the other buckets in the grant module.

tribute
When you have a tribute and want to add a Non-Profile Notify that is an organization, you should be able to add a name along with the organization name. We are not going to send a notification to an organization without a person's name attached to it. We want to be sure that it goes to the correct person. Would like the organization name to be there along with first and last name as fields that we can enter.

Add Profile type - Trustee and DAF
When we receive donations from a DAF fund or Trustee it would be nice to have that as a profile type to select instead of Individual, Household or Organization.

Bulk set donor designation
In the portal there is now the option to see household donations, which is a feature we highly requested that was implemented recently (https://idealab.foundant.com/forums/597718-communitysuite-idea-lab/suggestions/48809117-household-donations-on-donor-portal). However, if a profile does not have the donor designation, they are unable to see the donor portal when they log in as a fund advisor, thus are unable to benefit from seeing the household donations. In order to allow these profiles to see the household donations, I'd like a bulk way to set the donor designation on to profiles. This way they can have access to the portal. Otherwise, this household donation visible in the portal is functionally useless because the 1000+ profiles that need that visibility don't have the designation to see the household donations.

Change Engagement Strategy type of variable
Sometimes you want to run a report to include multiple types of engagement strategies, but not all strategies. There is currently no way to do this in CSuite. If the Engagement Strategy variable type would be changed from Varchar to Array (Like Profile Types) we could select multiple Engagement Strategies at once.

Giving Hub Customization - Radio Buttons
It would be great to have Giving Hub customizations (radio buttons for instance), which can be linked to parts of the donation approval/recording process on the Finance side of the transaction.
For instance, a radio button for Endowed/Spendable that allows donors desiring for a donation to be flowed through to their Spendable balance, which is linked to the Spendable checkbox in the transaction record.
An option to split the donation between Endowed and Spendable would be great too.

Show who is notified in online tribute dropdown
When displaying tributes for donors, in the dropdown on the Giving Hub, to select from, show who will be notified. We have tributes with different people to notify for the same person being honored/memorialized. For instance, the son's friend wants to notify the son of their donation, not the spouse. You see multiple tributes for the same person but have no idea why or who might be notified. We also have people put their own name in the notify thinking this is how they will get acknowledgement of the donation.
