  1. MonkeyPod is a software for Nonprofits, including grant-makers like ArtsNow. It houses our financial platform (taking the place of Quickbooks which does not speak nonprofit), CRM, fundraising, email marketing, etc.

    A connection with Foundant would allow a full integration with the financial platform for grant applications that are approved and automate the accounting in the same way they do for other platforms.

  2. SMU DataArts (https://culturaldata.org/about/) is widely recognized as the standard for data collection and analysis in the arts and culture sector. Many funders—including private foundations, municipal and regional agencies, and state-level public funding entities—already require applicants to complete the Cultural Data Profile (CDP) as part of the grant process.

    This creates duplication and added costs. For example, the Ohio Arts Council

  3. I would like to suggest an 'Abandoned' option for Follow-Ups, similar to that for Draft Applications. This way, incomplete overdue reports do not remain on the dashboard indefinitely. This would help with decluttering the dashboard, while also accurately marking the follow-up. As I understand, the only other option (apart from extending the deadline) would be to delete it, however we would want to keep them for record purposes. In the event that a grantee is able to fill out the report, we would then revert it back to Follow-Up Draft.

  4. The number of documents shows up at the request level but not at the organization level. Seeing the number icon on the Documents tab would be helpful because it would indicate that information has been uploaded. I believe the number of comments shows up at the organization level, so would the number of documents be able to be added?

  6. We would love the ability to limit the number of check marks applicants are able to select on certain checkbox questions. We ask folks to limit the number their choices, but often times they over select.

  7. Currently Impact Maps can only run off of Organization data. We need to run an Impact Map for awardees on grants only for individuals. This is not possible in the current configuration. Ideally it would be able to run off the Primary Contact or Owner of the record as well if we could toggle that in the Impact Map settings.

  8. We have a process where we give grants out - the applicant has to complete the grant contract and then submit a grant evaluation at school year end. However, some never submit their evaluations. We do not let them be eligible to apply for another grant unless all their evaluations have been submitted, so we do not want to close or abandon any of the outstanding follow up forms that say "MSHE Grant evaluation".   9. We would like to remove or deactivate the "See Opportunities" button on the left-hand To Do panel. All of our applicants can get to the apply page by clicking "Apply", and having more than one pathway creates confusion.

  10. It would be helpful if we could run a report on who the last person was to modify a form. For example, if an admin prints follow ups and marks them complete, it would be great to see who marked it complete if we have multi staff working in the follow up stages.

  11. In the new Learning Center, we should be able to have an administrator-level account, so that we can create new users for our staff, assign them training courses, and view their progress in completing each of those. It's a missed opportunity to not have this.

  13. Please provide the option to allow us to manually key in a date for when the follow up form is to be assigned. Where the applicant cannot see the follow up form when they logon and to not allow the applicant to receive any emails regarding the follow up form until the date that the follow up form is assigned. It’s very rare to have down time but when there is any, we can begin to assign follow up forms with a future assignment date.

  16. It would be extremely helpful to be able to run a report that gives the current visibility status for each individual question on a form. We change visibility on our LOI after our initial review is complete. In addition to needing to change the visibility setting on each question one by one, currently we can only validate that the setting have been correctly updated by manually reviewing each question again, one by one. With the New Applicant Dashboard feature, we would love to be able to manually change the status of a request on the Request Panel to Action Needed, even if there is no assigned follow-up form associated with the request. Sometimes, we have applicants that submit requests, and we do a first round due diligence check that requires follow-up on the back end via email with no official form, but action may still needed from the applicant. Under the New Applicant Dashboard feature, these requests would fall under the No Action column even though action is needed, there is just no…

  18. I would love to see the addition of an "opt out" checkbox function when an automatic email is going to be triggered. We use an automatic email that's attached to when a Final Report is assigned. The auto email sends out a grant award notification, but, if we ever need to adjust the Final Report due date, it will resend the grant award email.

  19. In the GLM, I often use the Request History tab of an organization in my work. I would really like to be able to see a column with the amount of each grant request from that organization even if the grant was denied. Additionally, I believe this "Amount Requested" column would be helpful for both approved and denied grants because sometimes our board approves of only a portion of the requested funds.

  20. There used to be a feature where you could insert an image to the instructions box of a form even if the added question did not have the option for rich text. It would be great if we could get that back! The image that used to be in one of our forms is now broken and I haven't been able to get it back (it says the image cannot be loaded from the passed link.)
