  2. It would help to eliminate the globe icon in the Due Date box. It takes up too much space and makes it difficult to see/enter the date you want.

  3. Request ID number

    We would like to be able to identify a particular request or award by an ID number, and then search for requests based on that number. I wish Foundant assigned a simple ID to each request or award. (not the 32 digit GUID, which is not usuable).

    I know we could add an internal field and assign our own number, but there could be duplication or errors in that process.

  4. Would it be possible in the future for applicants to type in their EIN and it would prepopulate their Organization Name? It would help ensure that there aren't differences in spelling/format between organization names and would get rid of some steps for our merge template creation!

  5. Remove the Rating system from Evaluations as a required field.
    Our Evaluations never show as Complete even when they are because we do not use a rating system to evaluate grants.

  6. When sending documents through DocuSign via Foundant we want to let multiple people be able to do it. At the moment Foundant only allows it to be connected to one account so other people are not able to receive the documents that they sent out on DocuSign. If there was a way to have separate Foundant accounts connected to different DocuSign keys.

  8. We have a number of evaluators with conflicts. Would be great if we could record these conflicts in a form and then have the system prevent us from assigning an evaluator to read a request from an org they have a conflict with

  9. currently have an evaluator bulletin where reviewers can post questions to foundation admin that they need to ask the applicants. Questions are linked to a project, other reviewers can see all the questions and the answer. Staff receive a notification when a question is posted, all evaluators get a notification when a response is submitted by staff.

Since the contact information was moved to a tab, when you click into the request you are defaulted to the "request" tab, and have to click to the "contact" tab in order to get back to the organization summary (or tell what organization you are looking at). I am generally back and forth to different things and it is frustrating to not be able to look at the request summary screen and a) know what organization I am looking at a request for without clicking the "contact" tab and b) be able to navigate back to the Organization summary without…

  12. When we copy a process we would like the option of whether or not to attach the follow-ups that are a part of the process. Our grants are 2 to 3 years long and the follow-ups will never be utilized in the same format. Current format creates a lot of extra work to delete all the follow-ups.

  13. If our students do not complete their updates they are terminated. It's very cumbersome and time consuming to have to go into each follow up in draft and click abandon.

  14. It would streamline our grant process to be able to have more than one application form per process. This way, applicants can select their area of focus in a more generic LOI form and be assigned the appropriate application form if invited to the next stage.

    This means we could ask more in-depth questions in the application that are tailored to the priority area, without needing multiple processes or an incredibly lengthy application form. Thanks for your consideration!

  15. Thank you for being willing to receive suggestions in this forum. You are brave folks and unique.

    Increasingly most grantee correspondence takes place via email or telephone. Might it be possible to have email more strongly integrated into the Foundant GLM? It would be especially helpful if emails that we generate in the system could be saved with each specific grant - along with the grantee's email responses back to us. Maybe there could be a way the grantee can initiate an email to us - through Foundant? Copying and pasting Subject lines and message texts into the "Comments" section…

  16. Hello,

    I am creating a report that I want to sort by the date/time of submission. We assign file numbers in the order grants were received. As staff begin to mark submissions as "complete," they are asked to assign a file number to a staff assigned field. I want to export a report of applicant names in the order they were received to an Excel document. There I can enter file numbers, and staff can reference the Excel document to look up file numbers.

  17. Currently if a user is inactive they are required to have an email address. This is not useful when the new user in their role uses the previous employees email address. ie) ceo@testcompany.ca

    If the new user uses the previous employees email then you are required to come up with a dummy address for the inactive employee. This is not ideal.

    Inactive employees should NOT require an email.

We've had many grant award checks returned for "no receptacle" or "insufficient address" due to the application in GLM auto filling with whatever address was put in when the organization's account was initially set up. Most people will put their physical address in this spot. It would be helpful if when setting up new accounts in GLM both the mailing address and the physical address of an organization were required, then for the mailing address to be the default for the grant application. Any way around this issue?

  19. It would be great if we could customize the students' Apply Page ourselves instead of having to go through chat. The process could be similar to what we can do for our login page under the site settings.

    I often want to make tweaks or change minor things and having to go through chat adds an extra layer and creates more work for chat.

  20. Create a "short name" option for fields that the user defines when designing a form so that data exports do not require manual manipulation of the column headings to create something functional for display purposes rather than having the entire question serve as the label for that column.
