Evaluator profile linked to conflicting org profiles
We have a number of evaluators with conflicts. Would be great if we could record these conflicts in a form and then have the system prevent us from assigning an evaluator to read a request from an org they have a conflict with

Evaluator Discussion Forum/Bulletin
currently have an evaluator bulletin where reviewers can post questions to foundation admin that they need to ask the applicants. Questions are linked to a project, other reviewers can see all the questions and the answer. Staff receive a notification when a question is posted, all evaluators get a notification when a response is submitted by staff.

Integrating Email & Phone Notes
Thank you for being willing to receive suggestions in this forum. You are brave folks and unique.
Increasingly most grantee correspondence takes place via email or telephone. Might it be possible to have email more strongly integrated into the Foundant GLM? It would be especially helpful if emails that we generate in the system could be saved with each specific grant - along with the grantee's email responses back to us. Maybe there could be a way the grantee can initiate an email to us - through Foundant? Copying and pasting Subject lines and message texts into the "Comments" section…

SLM/UA Decision: Waitlist
It would be nice to have a section on the admin dashboard that allows applications to be marked as 'alternates' so they don't have to remain in the 'evaluations closed' section. As the site is now, there is no way to hold an application as an alternate other than leaving it in the evaluations closed status.

Allow visibility to see who is actively logged in
Particularly when we are down to the deadline wire for committee member scoring in Foundant, it would be helpful not only to know the last login of the users, but also easily see who all is actively logged into our system at any point in time. This would help me understand who is still working vs. who I need to reach out to. I do not want to bother our busy volunteers if they are already doing what I need them to do.

default answers (multiple choice)
It would be awesome to be able to assign a default answer to a multiple-choice question (radio button or checkboxes). maybe a check box in the list for "Make this the default answer", if unchecked, there is no default answer. If checked, that selection is the default.
This would be helpful when we have an internal question that is required, but will not need to be answered unless a change is needed. For example, "Does the board require an amendment to consider this grant for approval? Y/N." The grant manager doesn't need to answer this question until after the board…

Internal follow-up assignment visibility

I would like the existence of internal follow ups to be visible on the applicant's dashboard. Even if they can't see the information in the internal follow up, the lack of visibility/availability for the client interferes with sequential follow up assignment. Internal/applicant visibility should be a separate issue from interna/applicant assignment.
It would be good if an applicant could see that there is an internal follow up assigned associated with their request. This visibility could be controlled via a setting toggle.

Organize the follow ups
Please provide a way to remove completed electronic signature agreements and completed interim reports from the "follow ups complete" list without having to close the grant. either separate tabs for each or a way to remove them altogether.

Evaluator experience
When using the text box option for answers requiring no more than 250 characters, the text is cut off when evaluators use side-by-side functionality. The workaround is for the evaluator to drag the dotted line dividing the sections to the left, but that is cumbersome and time-consuming. It would be nice to have these short responses automatically wrap when displaying during side-by-side evaluations like the questions that use 'text area' for more than 250 character responses.

webpage for current SmartSimple system status
Create a web location for your SmartSimple customers to visit that displays the current system/network status.
For clarity, when the entire SmartSimple PROD or Back-Up shared system is down for all users, let us be able to check a page to confirm it is a 'you-issue' and not an 'us-issue' to avoid reaching out to support or submitting a ticket unnecessarily.

Proccess Title In Search Bar
First off, I love the search bar!!! Through I was wondering if the development team add the process name/grant cycle (even if it's abbreviated). We fund programs with the same name, at the same time and or historically so when I search for a program name, it pops up a list of the programs but I cannot tell which grant cycle the program is from. We have two grant funds and sometimes we have three grant cycles running at the same time due to begin/end cycles.

Issues with 3rd party request changed to "upload myself" option
We have two options for a student to submit a letter of recommendation. They can ask a teacher to do this (via the 3rd party request in the system) or they can elect to upload the letter themselves.
If an applicant starts with the 3rd party request option, but then later changes it to "upload myself" because the original recommender did not follow through, the SLM system still thinks there is a missing 3rd party request.
The student's application stays in the "Action needed" column, even though the letter is uploaded AND it shows as 0/1 in the 3rd Party…

Color Code Organizations - Concern Level
We want to implement a green, yellow, red system to indicate concern level with some aspect of an organization's operations. would be great to have it show up in reports and when looking at list of organizations by process on the dashboard. Would be extra great to have a place to indicate the concern. Right now we are using pinned comments for this.

additional evaluation forms for a UA
Can we add an additional Evaluation Form option for the UA? Maybe create a third and fourth form option.
Currently, there are only two slots for evaluation forms. We normally use both options: one for a scoring form for scholarships with an essay, and the other without an essay. But when there is a scholarship that requires a completely different form, this is not currently easily achievable without losing a lot of data.1 vote -
Add a Year Filter for Requests on the Organization Page
Viewing all requests on the Organization page can be slow for organizations with long grant histories. Adding a “Last 12 Months” or year‑based filter would allow us to quickly see recent requests without loading the full list. For example, we have one organization with 671 total requests, but only 32 from the past year. This would improve performance and usability.

Remove archived admin fee IDs from the available option in settings. When making edits to the admin fee field in the profile settings the archived admin fees still appear which causes confusion in selecting the active admin fees. Our current work around is to change the admin fee name to include zzz or 'DO NOT USE.' I wish the system would look at the active list and connect only those IDs to the available list. Thanks!

Admin-Triggered Third-Party Reminder Emails Within an Application
Would it be possible to add a feature that allows administrators to trigger a third-party reminder email or access point from within a students application?
We’ve found that third-party users (recommenders, principals, etc.) are struggling to locate their original request email. An admin-triggered reminder option within the application would allow administrators to quickly resend the request and help ensure third-party users can complete their requested information more easily.

Journal Entries
Eliminate separate journal entries from being produced when there are multiple funds attached to a single journal entry. The creation of multiple journal entries makes it more difficult to review.

Add a time-frame clause to this new option in Process Manager
GLM/SLM - Process Request Limit: Limit the number of requests submitted per applicant with the new 'Maximum Number of Requests per Applicant' option in Process Manager
For the above new option, we would like to have a time-frame added to it. We sometimes use the same process from year-to-year and our applicants are permitted to apply each year. We just do not want them to submit a duplicate request for multiple projects in the current grant cycle, so adding dates would be helpful.
