Enable grant reviewers to print their comments for reference
Our board members who review grants would like to be able to create their own report that would show their comments for each applicant, so they could print these and bring them to the review meeting.

You should be able to close requests even if follow ups are still outstanding
We have a process where we give grants out - the applicant has to complete the grant contract and then submit a grant evaluation at school year end. However, some never submit their evaluations. We do not let them be eligible to apply for another grant unless all their evaluations have been submitted, so we do not want to close or abandon any of the outstanding follow up forms that say "MSHE Grant evaluation". Ability to Duplicate Search Contacts
When you click into Organizations, you can perform a basic "duplicate search" and easily merge duplicates. I would love to see this same option for contacts.

Add "Request Amount" into "Organization Request Summary" Merge Table
This one has been previously archived, but when we get the summary of an organization, we really really would like to see the amount they requested, even if their grant was denied. This is one area where Blackbaud allowed us more functionality than Foundant.
Along the same lines, when you look at org request history, it would be nice if it showed amount requested in the summary at a glance.

TLDR: I'd like to be able to reuse a snippet of a form on another form, perhaps from a library of snippets.
Let's say in 2023 I built one great form and copied it 20 times so that all my forms built in 2023 used the best practice of sharing their fields (variables). Now in 2024 I have a new group of fields - budget or demographic fields that I need to add.

Third-Party Count in new applicant dashboard
The new applicant dashboard shows a red icon when there are pseudo-common or opportunity-specific third-party submissions that are outstanding (this is great!), but right now it doesn't show the icon if a common third-party submission is outstanding. The count (0/1, 0/2, etc.) when you hover over the icon also only includes pseudo-common or opportunity-specific third-party submissions. This has the potential to be confusing for applicants because they could believe all of their common third-party requests have been submitted when they are actually still outstanding. Custom Content on New Applicant Dashboard
Please add the custom content back to the new and improved applicant dashboard. On the old dashboard, we included instructions on filling out the application, contact information for our Foundation, and links to trainings. This is not currently possible with the updated version of the applicant dashboard.

Evaluator batch print function
Someone else has already asked to add batch printing to the Evaluations stage, but we really need it to go one further, and to allow Evaluators to batch print for themselves. This is the number one thing all our Evaluators, many of whom are reading over a 100 applications at a time, have been asking for for the last several years, and when we switched to Foundant, we had thought we were giving them that, only to find out after the fact that we misunderstood, and they still have to download one pdf at a time. I wish i could use merge fields when building grant agreement forms. I have a paragraph called RECITALS that has project specific information in it. I wish I could use merge fields in the instructions questions....

Additional Custom Columns
We really need more than 2 custom columns to be able to accurately sort and filter Applications both for Evaluator assignment by the administrators, and for our Evaluators doing the rating. Even just one more custom column would make a big difference. I have several questions that are only for need-based scholarships. On every one of these questions I have to check my 40-50 opportunities. It would be very helpful to see the total number that are checked to help me be sure I have them all.

Third party email bounce notifications
Someone else suggested, but the idea was archived, so want to reiterate that we also would strongly appreciate a notice being sent to applicants if a third party email address bounces. We were again spending a lot of staff hours identifying bounced third party emails one by one, and notifying applicants. Unfortunately, this made for a very tight turnaround in some cases.

Someone else requested it, but it was archived, so I would like to bring back into consideration third party reminders based on a due date (the application due date, if not a separate third party due date), instead of the date when the third party response was requested. Our application process opens several months before the application due date, and some requests are made right away. Not only will those recommenders forget by the actual due date, but it has historically seriously annoyed our recommenders to receive a reminder before the actual due date. Project Name included on Applicant Dashboard
In the new version of the applicant experience (which we are big fans of!), I love that the process is listed up front, our grantees used to struggle with identifying their different grants and which program they were connected to, but now the project name doesn't seem to be reflected anywhere on the new applicant home page. For our grantees/organizations that may have more than one project in a process (fairly common with local universities or hospital systems) the follow ups are indistinguishable unless they click into the form. Hide "add to cart" button in grant catalog grants
With grant catalogs, we're able to hide the donate button until we're ready to let donors contribute; however, we are not able to hide the "add to cart" button for each individual grant when someone clicks directly into that grant from the grant catalog. For our Match Days, some organizations like to have the unique URL for their specific grant catalog item to promote which bypasses the top level grant catalog. This is where we cannot suppress until "Match Day" starts.

Download Folders as one Document from Shared documents
Currently we have our Board Books stored in the shared documents tab of Foundant. Each Board Book folder has multiple sub files. Each subfile can be downloaded, but it would be nice to be able to download the entire folder which would include all the files.

Could AI verify transcripts?
A requirement for our scholarship application is that the student must upload an academic transcript. I am currently having to open over 140 applications, then open the document in the transcript section of the application to verify it is actually a transcript. Could AI be developed to open and interpret the document to confirm it is a transcript? It would be a huge time-saver for staff.
