  1. I would like the ability to manage different GLM/SLM sites on different tabs in the same browser without being logged off automatically. For example, earlier today I was almost done creating an new email template in SLM. I attempted to open up a new tab to assist an applicant and the system automatically logged me out of the other SLM tab. I lost everything that I was working on and this isn't the first time that this has happened. Thank you!

  2. Right now if an LOI is being Denied there is no way to attach an email so it goes automatically; it has to be done manually. Can that be changed in the future?

  3. Create a web location for your SmartSimple customers to visit that displays the current system/network status.

    For clarity, when the entire SmartSimple PROD or Back-Up shared system is down for all users, let us be able to check a page to confirm it is a 'you-issue' and not an 'us-issue' to avoid reaching out to support or submitting a ticket unnecessarily.

  4. I check all applicants' email histories when they submit their application, as students frequently misspell their teachers' emails and will not get third party responses unless that gets corrected. With the new user summary page, it's now an extra click to get to the email history, and its location is not at all intuitive.

  5. First off, I love the search bar!!! Through I was wondering if the development team add the process name/grant cycle (even if it's abbreviated). We fund programs with the same name, at the same time and or historically so when I search for a program name, it pops up a list of the programs but I cannot tell which grant cycle the program is from. We have two grant funds and sometimes we have three grant cycles running at the same time due to begin/end cycles.

  6. We have two options for a student to submit a letter of recommendation. They can ask a teacher to do this (via the 3rd party request in the system) or they can elect to upload the letter themselves.

    If an applicant starts with the 3rd party request option, but then later changes it to "upload myself" because the original recommender did not follow through, the SLM system still thinks there is a missing 3rd party request.

    The student's application stays in the "Action needed" column, even though the letter is uploaded AND it shows as 0/1 in the 3rd Party…

  7. Members of my team spent hours on chat trying to troubleshoot why they could not upload files to organizational profiles while I could. The issue at hand was the use of an unsupported character in the file name... the system did not give us any indication of this, nor did support staff ask about the file name. We managed to figure it out on our own.

    Would be great to either list unsupported characters in file upload spaces, or to have a pop up message when an unsupported character is preventing file upload.

  8. When a student submits their General Application in the UA, you can only see a true number count by pulling a report. It would be helpful if those individual students would show up as submitted, since they have submitted a General Application. The drafted students shows correctly, but it shows 0 for submitted when that it not accurate. Right now they just get moved to the individual opportunity immediately instead of showing in the submitted bucket.

  9. We create merge documents of scholarship applications for our selection committees. Unfortunately, the only place to do this in bulk is from the Request & Decisions page. This page doesn't allow for any additional columns to sort or filter by so we are required to create a filtered report and manually go through the R & D page to manually select each student we want included in the batch. This is very tedious and time consuming. I would love to see the ability to create documents from the workflow buckets that allow for custom columns and filtering or add that…

  10. Provide the ability to set a user inactive from the User Summary or Update User page. This would make it easier to deactivate user profiles while viewing their information. Currently, the only way to deactivate a user is through the Users Search page.

  12. There are several ideas around the apply page, but I didn't see this one addressed specifically.

    Please make the "Apply" at the top of the page more prominent. With the new applicant dashboard, everyone's eyes seem to be drawn only to the columns and cannot locate the apply button. Make it larger, a different color, or something to make it stand out.

We want to implement a green, yellow, red system to indicate concern level with some aspect of an organization's operations. would be great to have it show up in reports and when looking at list of organizations by process on the dashboard. Would be extra great to have a place to indicate the concern. Right now we are using pinned comments for this.

  14. Can we add an additional Evaluation Form option for the UA? Maybe create a third and fourth form option.
    Currently, there are only two slots for evaluation forms. We normally use both options: one for a scoring form for scholarships with an essay, and the other without an essay. But when there is a scholarship that requires a completely different form, this is not currently easily achievable without losing a lot of data.

  15. Sum Formatting in Tables

    When a table sums a column of amounts i.e. a currency (£), the format of the sum is simply numbers ######. Can the Sum function for the table be formatted to match the formatting of the cells it is adding up e.g. £###,###.##?

  17. When creating an invoice through the "Invoice" module, it would be convenient for the creator to have the ability to select a specific AR account rather than always posting to the generic AR account.

    For instance, our Foundation has Notes Receivable, Contributions Receivable, Income Tax Receivable, Interest Receivable, and various other AR accounts that we would like to be able to use when creating an invoice, but we are forced to post directly to Accounts Receivable.

  18. Viewing all requests on the Organization page can be slow for organizations with long grant histories. Adding a “Last 12 Months” or year‑based filter would allow us to quickly see recent requests without loading the full list. For example, we have one organization with 671 total requests, but only 32 from the past year. This would improve performance and usability.

  19. It is very difficult to locate the organization email history. Could you put the three dots on the organization summary page ? why are 3 dots needed - just put click here for email history. It is very difficult to find. spending too much time looking for it.
