  1. We would really love the option to turn off applicant's ability to edit their own contact information. We have had problems with applicants changing names and email addresses during staff changes, and it creates huge problems with our record-keeping and historical data.

  2. For GLM under website settings, "Warn Applicant of an Existing Request," if this could be for applications submitted by organization. For example, a user from an organization submitted an application but then another user tries to apply for the same grant opportunity. The user trying to submit the 2nd application would be notified that an application was already submitted. There may be instances when there are multiple programs within one organization are applying for a grant, if that's the case, allow multiple programs to be identified under one umbrella organization.

  3. We would love access codes that can be made unique for each applicant, so that the code cannot be used more than once, and cannot be shared between potential applicants.

  4. We would love to have a Document Viewer function for the Documents tab, as well as for all documents connected to a given request. Having to download a document just to see it every time is hugely inconvenient, as is having to go through several forms to look for a given document. More Document Viewer functionality would save a lot of time.

  5. Allow information from the organization and user details to auto-fill answers to questions in any form. For example, on the application form if the question is organization submitting an application that information would auto-populate based on the organization the user is linked to. Another example, would be if there is a question on the applicant form that asks who is completing the application, that information based on the user information of the person logged in.

  6. Our fund advisors would benefit from an alert that would be sent to our staff when a fund advisor creates a distribution request that would leave the fund with little or no remaining balance. As non-profit organizations experience funding challenges, we do see the potential for more agency fund advisors to request funds for emergencies. An alert would create an opportunity to have meaningful conversations with our fund advisors. It would be great if the alert can be sent via email to the foundation’s key relationship managers.   7. When you create a listview that includes advanced data table displays, they are nested into a single excel cell. It would be great if there was an easy way to export out data from advanced data tables so they are parsed into individual cells.

  8. You can create granular filters from the Grant Manager that pull from Organization and Contact and Activity fields, but then if you want to do the same from the Organization Manager or Contact Managers, you only have access to the specific fields on those UTAs. It would be amazing to be able to have the same filter access so you could for example pull a list of all Organizations with a Grant status: Active in 2025.

When merging organizations, it would be nice to be able to see the information on the organizations selected without having to open up one to see its information and then having to go back to "Search - Organizations - Duplicate Search" to see the information on another one selected. When I try to use the back button it doesn't work. Perhaps I am doing something wrong.

  11. Currently check content provides custom fields so I am using that to send payment notifications. However, I recently discovered this sends a notice to all payment recipients not just the ACH recipients like I was told. A support representative told me that if we use Voucher Content, and Grants Content it will only send notifications to those ACH payees, but there are no custom fields in these areas so I can't include any details about the payment or who the fundholder was that issued the grant payment like I can in the check content area.   12. In the new Learning Center, we should be able to have an administrator-level account, so that we can create new users for our staff, assign them training courses, and view their progress in completing each of those. It's a missed opportunity to not have this.

  13. NEW ADMINISTRATOR DASHBOARD (WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT)
    Enhancement to the Dashboard to make it easier to organize the Grants Manager/Program Manager's work - oversight for the entire process, with multiple grant cycles/processes in progress at the same time and a number of reminders and follow up to ensure are completed. Not unlike the Applicant dashboard (which will make it easier to, at a glance, recognize the deliverables) - a new Administrator dashboard would significantly improve efficiency of workflow for all of the staff responsible for the grant processes.

Once we create a report in Reporting Data Sets, we should be able to set it to run automatically at designated intervals (every week, every other week, once per month, etc.), and then have the system email it to administrators when it runs. We relied on this feature in our previous software and our work is impacted by this missing feature in Foundant GLM.

  20. Please add a toggle that admin can switch to Stop applicants from applying for the same process twice. This feels like it should be the default anyway.
