    On December 6th, 2023 we updated the theme/general styling of GLM/SLM. We hope you all are enjoying these shifts in design, but in our commitment to continual improvement, we wanted to create a space where feedback could be collected.   2. We currently use the CSuite Grant ID# for any GLM-synced grants as an identifier for award agreements. Would be helpful to have that number appear in the Applicant portal for reference. Would also be helpful to have a merge field so that we can add the CSuite Grant ID to letter/email templates.

  3. Would it be possible to add a drop down for students wheen filling out personal information. ie Mr., Ms. and that when a student types street or St. it would auto change to Street? this would save us so much time in making corrections.

  4. Here is a common scenario. An org is fiscally sponsored by a church and then gets their own 501c3 status and changes their name. In foundant, we would update the org name to say (formerly XYZ Church). When evaluators see the church name - they often ask whether services are limited to members of that church even when the org has nothing to do with the church (e.g., a food bank). To remove any confusion for evaluators - I tried adding the church name to the Sort Name, but when I tried to do a search for the church -…

  5. Please move the button up to the top. I have multiple processes so when I copy to a new one, the button to mark draft or submitted is often off the page and out of view so I miss it. Then I copy again and have 3 applications in the system and have to delete two of them while making sure I am deleting the correct ones. This is a simple fix.

  6. Can Foundant add numeric grant numbers that auto-counts grants in a process?

    For example, we support research projects and grantees need to acknowledge it in the research paper with something to the effect of "We acknowledge financial support from "Foundation Name" under grant # ("Foundation Acronym"-***) at the end of the paper. The grant number allows for tracking where we would enter in the grant number in something like Google Scholar and see how many papers have been published through it.

    Right now, there are no unique identifiers for Grants to track externally.

  7. The new giving hub does not permit grouping of funds. This is something useful that we will be losing. In addition, there be ability to default to "show additional funds" format. In addition, this "additional funds" is not sorted by priority, but only alphabetically.

  8. While chatting with support@foundant.com they suggested I submit a request to be able to customize the date when manually entering a historic application because unfortunately it shows today's date for the date of submission and I want it to show a date from years ago.

    We have an applicant that last applied in the mid 90s and is applying again. We don't have their historical application in Foundant but we have the hard copy file. I added the historical application to the Request History tab and scanned in the old application but it doesn't give me the option to put…

  10. It would be great if attachments in the "Documents" tab could be previewed (much like how documents can be previewed within an application by clicking the eye icon).

    Currently, a user has to download a file from the Documents tab in order to view it. It would be amazing to keep the preview experience within the browser. As an added bonus, my downloads folder wouldn't get clogged up!

  12. I wish i had a way to confirm existing vendor ids that are hand entered. If my grant managers make a mistake here, the wrong people get paid.

    I looked at using a branching question. But there is no way to see if the answer to Q1 matches the answer to Q2...

    In my form it's set up as:

    Does your school have an existing THR Vendor ID? (Y/N)

    Branch Group: Yes

    Enter school's THR vendor ID: __________ (integer, limited to 15 chars)

  15. Just as we can clone rows in tables, I think it would be even more impactful to clone columns. As one use case, we have a table question in a follow-up form that asks for several different outputs (each row being a different output) for each month in a quarter, with each column being a different month. This would have been way easier to build out with a Clone Column feature.

We use branching questions in our grant application that are set to internal so we can branch an applicant to the application we want them to complete and not have multiple processes in our site. I just realized that when an applicant clicks on the "Question List" button in their site, this shows them ALL of the questions in our application, regardless of how the application should be branched. The fact that applicants can see the entire question list for an application seems to negate the purpose of branching. This is very confusing for applicants because they do not know…

    Hello,

    You are correct in that all branch groups are displayed in the question list; we follow this as best practice for projects like project streamlining so that applicants don't become surprised by the amount of time the application will take them. We also encourage as a best practice that you add instructions to the branch groups for that visibility and communication explain when they will see that group.


    However, Internal Questions should not be displayed to applicants. Please report this to our support team so that we can review it.

  18. There are some grants that we process in CSuite and then sync over the GLM. The intention is that we can use email templates for batch notifications in GLM to send to the organizations. We also assign follow-up forms for these grants.

    However, the emails and follow-ups aren't working. It seems to be because the Applicant is listed as "Unassigned". All of the organizations for these grants already have GLM accounts, so I would love to see the Primary Contact be the default "Applicant", which would enable us to perform these functions in batch. Any way to improve this integration…

  19. We use tables to collect budget information, one table for revenue and one table for expenses. We'd love to be able to calculate the net revenue taking the total from revenue less total expenses.

  20. We would like the option for students to not see the opportunities they qualify for when they submit their application. We do not understand the purpose or why this is necessary. It tends to cause more questions and confusion. This is misleading for students if they qualify for a lot of opportunities, but don't receive a scholarship or only get one.

    We do not want these to show up on the applicant dashboard as well as the confirmation page.

    We would appreciate the option to have this feature turned on or off, even for opportunities that have Supplemental Questions.
