  1. We have 5 identical (or close to it) processes for our grants (2 yr cycle). Each process has a Director and Grant Manager(s) that are unique to it. It would be nice to have that information in the Process Summary. It would also be helpful if those fields were available as merge fields.

  2. I really need a way to remove an applicant without "abandoning" them or "denying" them. If I deny, they find out they didn't win the award. If I abandon, it goes to their request history, and then they can see it and email with questions. There are times we just need to remove them. An example would be: Our donor's evaluate, and one year there was an applicant in the pool for her son's memorial scholarship, that had bullied the deceased son.   3. Our grant approval workflow include setting the value for custom fields in the grant approval form (grant subtype, type of support, etc.). Then the Service Area and Grant Type need to be added after the grant is synced with CSuite. It would be SO helpful to be able to set the CSte Service Area and Grant Type field here as well so that coding does not have to be done in two places. In other words, change from a read-only field in GLM to an editable field like the custom field are.

  4. While processing online donations from the Giving Hub, I'm noticing that the "How do you want to be recognized" field is being misunderstood by many donors. It would be great if the text box verbiage was editable so we could change it to say something like -- "Optional: How do you want your name listed if different from above? (i.e. nickname)"

  5. I need a denial email to be sent to the applicant when I hit deny on the application. When the application is approved, an email is sent. But I have to go in and send a separate email after I have denied the request. I don't want to deny a request but forget to notify them!

In SLM, I feel it would be helpful to be able to develop a form template outside of processes (maybe I'm missing this somewhere, but the only place I have found "create new form" has been inside a process under "change form"). I'd like to have an independently created Application template (that stays then untouched or modified, so I know where I started) that I can then copy and adjust into my processes. This could also apply for Follow-Up forms, etc. Essentially, I'd like the Create New Form button or a Create form template button inside the Forms tab within…

  9. Would there be a way to customize what is shown on an evaluator packet? We typically allow board members to view a folder of evaluator packets, but they get long and we want to make it easier for board members to quickly digest a grant. Is there a way to either customize what we include in the packets or easily batch download the executive summaries for all of our grants in a given cycle?

  10. My proposed idea is to create a "Create Document and Attach to Request AND Attach to Email" button next to the current "Create Document and Attach to Request" button. This would perform both actions at the same time. Currently, attaching a document to an email requires manually uploading the document.

  11. Stock Gift Adds Incorrect Amount to Principal Balance

    The "initial" value a donor receives for a stock gift is DIFFERENT than the proceeds (also called in CSuite gross amount or net deposit). Please allow a field to enter the principal amount to be recorded for stock gifts.

    For example...

    Initial Value of Gift (receipt for donor) = $100,000
    Gross Amount / Net Deposit - Proceeds to Fund (once the stock is sold) = $95,000
    The fund receiving the stock gift is immediately underwater because $100,000 is recorded to the CSuite principal but the fund balance is $95,000.

  12. We would love to see the ability to pull the funding history of an organization applying to a new process into a form and/or the reporting tool so that we can easily incorporate that data into our evaluation.

    Ideally we could access the funding data currently available in the "Print Organization Packet" (# of requests granted, total $ granted, total $ paid), but even a simple Funding History - Y/N available in the reporting tool would be amazing so we don't have to do a bunch of manual work to look up each organization or run multiple reports just to…

  13. We would love to be able to add dates to comments, not just have it be the date we are adding the comment. That way we might be able to sort comments.

I'd love to have a side by side feature in the create process area, meaning it would be good to be able to also edit any email templates that are needed (or forms) within a process, but within the same screen. I don't know if this could be done via a pop up window, or if it could be the side by side view (similar to what an evaluator would have), but I'd love to not have to add a second open tab or have to get out of a process any time I need to go update or add…

  15. Rich Text improvement ... please allow hyperlinks/URLs to be added by applicants in their text area responses. We would like applicants to show us where and how they are recognizing the Foundation for funding. By allowing them to include hyperlinks in their answers it would give easy access to the Trustees to view.

  17. While chatting with support@foundant.com they suggested I submit a request to be able to customize the date when manually entering a historic application because unfortunately it shows today's date for the date of submission and I want it to show a date from years ago.

    We have an applicant that last applied in the mid 90s and is applying again. We don't have their historical application in Foundant but we have the hard copy file.   18. Include Applicant Field to Add Third Party Name with the Email Address:

    To help us keep track of Third Party Recommendations and contact those persons if needed, it would be helpful to have a field where the applicant enters the name of the person that they are entering the email for when initializing a Third Party Request. We've added a name field to the Third Party form portion that we can control, but that doesn't help us in the pre-deadline portion of our process. Thanks for your consideration!

  19. It would be helpful to be able select "Hide Amounts" under Bulk Edit Funds feature. You can select "Hide Memorial Amounts" and "Show History on Portal", but you cannot make a bulk edit for "Hide Amounts". Thank you!

  20. It would be incredibly beneficial if GLM included a CommunitySuite question type that allows users to directly select options from the "Grant Type" dropdown list in CommunitySuite.
    Currently, we list this question in our GLM applications, and our Grant Manager manually selects the grant type. However, this information isn't automatically linked to CommunitySuite, requiring our Financial Manager to also go into CSuite and designate the 'Grant Type' for each grant processed.
