email grant letters
Now that we have the ability to email grant award letters (yay!) it would be so helpful to have the option to email the letter to multiple email address in addition to the primary email via Check run Batches.

Would be great to send a "nice looking" email from this point. It is really disconcerting to not be able to personalize an email and know how it will look when it sends.

Agreed! And I like Rachel's below idea re: setting up a "for grant letters" kind of option. We have vendors for which multiple people have requested to receive grant notifications so this would be superb!

Adding to this feature, if there could be the possibility to see the email sent under the grant itself rather than the individual's profile. Considering the contact can change, having one location to hold the communication around the grant would make it much easier.
Having the ability to save the grant letter that is sent by email would be very helpful as during our Audit process we need to provide them the award letter that is sent, and right now we don't feel like we can't take advantage of this feature.

Yes! We wholeheartedly agree with this idea.
We discussed it internally as well, and in thinking about exactly HOW you could make it happen, we think an easy solution would be the ability to designate email addresses for certain purposes at the Profile level via checkboxes, such as "for grant letters" and "for ACH notification." Because we may not want to change the primary address for an organization just to get this notification to go to the correct person, and/or there may be reason to notify multiple email addresses on grants to certain organizations as you said here.
We also think the addition of an "are you sure?" step for emailing the grant letters from the Check run would be a welcome addition, as it is all too easy to send those emails in batch with a single click!
