  1. Used to be a RE NXT user, and one of the best features was Workflow Designer. You could create processes — known as workflows — as an automated series of steps in the form of actions, emails, or conditions. You can assign actions to someone in your organization to complete, then add conditions to have the workflow move to the next action.
    You could add emails to your workflow and set conditions to automatically send those emails to your constituents. You'll add actions and emails based on your chosen criteria and let the workflow do all the work, saving yourself…

  2. Would you please consider adding a sort option or categories for events? We have events for NonProfit Professionals, Donors, Development Officers etc and it would be nice to be able to group them together for ease of viewing and registering.

It would be very helpful and much less clicks if there was an ability from the "link fund" or "link profile" screen on the profile if you could link that certain profile more than once to a fund or other profiles before creating. Like at this screen attached if there were multiple boxes if you wanted to link the profile to another fund, same fund, etc. instead of going back to the profile screen and clicking link again.
    Or at least be able to link to one fund at a time but have multiple fund categories to one fund per…

  4. Could there be an option to allow donors to view the donation and grant history of closed funds on the donor portal? Currently, if you close a fund, there is no longer any access and many of our donors would like to continue to see the info.

    For example, one of our donors with multiple funds was done with a fund so it was closed. However, they would like to see their grant/donation history in the portal. The only option right now is to re-open a fund that will never be used again and leave it open, or have them…

  5. We love being able to create categories for files and will be utilizing it more soon. We discovered, however, that when there are many files in a fund, it would be beneficial to minimize all fund categories and be able to just maximize the category we're looking for a file under.

  6. Many issues we face could easily be resolved if we had more ability to apply bulk changes. This includes updates and deletions to records in most areas of the system, but particularly grants, donations, profiles, and funds. We realize that Foundant may be reluctant to do this, since bulk changes can be dangerous. However, at some point, we have to be accountable for our own actions. As long as these areas have permission levels, we could selectively assign them to our best people, taking responsibility for whatever changes are made.

  7. The fund listing on the fund portal should show the fund's "public name" field from CSuite rather than the "fund name" field, which typically includes more internal language in it. If there is no public name populated then the fund name field could be used.
    It's counterintuitive not to have the "public name" field populate the fund portal fund listing--a public-facing resource.

  8. In the new version of the public donation page, Foundant allows a banner at the top of the main page. Yet, there is no advice given to the size for this section. And, Foundant does not resize images for this piece of content to fit various screen sizes on different devices. I'll be honest, that's shocking for 2024. Responsive design should be a given. it affects accessibility, user experience and our reputation to provide a well-designed experience for our fundholders. Foundant gives the option for "dynamic images" on fund images, which means they do have the capability to do it.…

  9. When generating mailing labels or exporting mailing labels to CSV in a campaign, it pulls both Primary and Mailing addresses for the same profile. We would prefer it to pull Mailing as the default, and Primary only when there isn't a Mailing address.

  10. It would be nice to be able to run a report for average daily balances for a group of funds without having to process a revenue share. The system can already calculate this so it seems like it would be an easy update to be able to report this without having to run a different process to get the information that you need.

  11. Make the authentication box on the login screen automatically populate the cursor and ability to type. Once you try to log in, it prompts for authentication. Then, you have to click on the text box, but most of the time, I forget to click the box because on most websites, it automatically is ready to have someone type in it. So I am left typing the authentication on my phone into nothing.

  12. Hello, the new profiles are great! would it be possible for the tabs to indicate if there is information on the tab? For instance by color or bold lettering. Then you would not have to open every to know if there was data. This would be so helpful.

  13. Allow the fund name to be deleted from a Note when editing a Note. Currently, we have to delete the entire Note and re-add the Note without the fund name so that Note doesn't appear in the Fund's Notes tab.

  14. It would be helpful to be able to link a fund to another fund with a relationship category....as such is done with Profiles. For example, a fund closes (perhaps because of the donor's passing) and it creates a new fund (often an Unrestricted fund). Having the original fund (albeit closed) linked to the new fund with a category such as "funding source" would be useful in tracking the fund history.

    There are other situations where a fund may regularly feed money into another fund. Again, having the funds linked would help tracking and understanding how multiple funds may be connected.

  15. In the checks module, when there are checks in the new check bucket, it would be helpful to have a total of all checks in the bucket on that screen. Additionally, when you click into a given batch of checks (regardless of which bucket it's in), it would be helpful to have a batch total appear on that screen as well.

  16. Update campaign requests so that they appear before a guest checks out. Please also add functionality to assign guest names before checkout. There is no indication for a purchaser to add their guest's name or meal choice (request) after checkout and we have to contact literally every single person who buys a ticket to get their meal choice for events. This is a huge inconvenience.

    We would all appreciate this implementation!!

I just spoke to a donor who expressed their frustration with not being able to adjust their recurring donation after it is set up - it would be a great option to our recurring donors if they could easily change the date payments are drafted, donation amount, as well as the card being used. Is this already possible and I have somehow missed it? Thanks!
