  2. Currently, I'm using SalesForce to track all interactions with people who are not connected with a grant. I meet with many folks and would love to track my meetings, phone calls, etc. I would love to use Foundant for everything.

  3. Our staff have different responsibilities when checking in Quarterly follow up forms. The first step is a budget and expenditure review. It then goes to different staff person who reviews the narrative portions of the report. Right now, we keep an excel form and check off when the financial is reviewed and ready for narrative review. It would be nice to see online when the financial is done and the follow up is ready to move on for the narrative review.

  4. Create a follow up procedure for users to electronically sign andagree to a confidentiality statements.Place a check on the user profile that says they have read and agreed and submitted the agreement.

  5. It would be very helpful if the comma would carryover from the Approval stage Amount Awarded when it is a shared question in a follow up. Without the comma it is very difficult for grant recipients to read the amount awarded, especially when there are multiple zeros in the dollar amount.

    The dollar sign and comma appear in the Follow Up Packet and Approval Packet. This makes me wonder if it's a system glitch.

  6. Seeing the due date instead of the actual payment date leads everyone to believe that was when the payment was made, especially since there is nothing that explains that date. In most cases, it is not and, unless they drill down to find the actual payment date, they assume that it is.

  7. Love the idea of the Evaluation Side by Side view! Although I would like to see two important things brought into this view.

    The Send Email button that would appear at the bottom of the LOI or Application used to say "Email [Applicant's Name]" - it doesn't appear anymore. It is not at the bottom of the "Your Evaluation" in side by side, where you can Deny Request, or Save the evaluation, and for some weird reason you can now Send Email to Yourself* -but not to the applicant.
    I am not sure why you might want to send yourself…

  8. We have our evals set up to get management approval of submitted grants before we proceed with processing them. I'd love to get a notification that the evals were completed to serve as a prompt for me to log in and move the application forward.

  9. We have grant processes, or programs, which recur every year. There is currently no way in the system to link those processes. Our suggestion is two-fold: (a) allow us to add a "code" or "type" to each process, and then (b) allow us to pull processes by code/type. This would show up in the Select Processes pop-up on the dashboard - maybe above the "available" and "archived" boxes - a "Select All Processes Type" box.

    To get more technical - it would be really great if we could also add a "closed" status to a process. That could be a…

  11. Can we add to the Greeting page language to add “Administrator administrator@grantinterface.com” to their address book so that our emails will be sure to land in their inbox! Put it in a different color font so that it will be noticed when they open this software.

    We continue to have problems delivering emails to our grantees and creates duplicate work for us. Thank you.

  12. As it works now, we can upload documents to an organization or request and applicants upload documents into our letter of inquiry, application and follow-up forms. The downside is that when we go to look for a document, we have to know exactly where it was uploaded.

    It would be amazing to have one place on the Organization Summary page where we can see all uploaded documents for that organization in one place, with columns showing when the document was uploaded, which Project Name it is associated with, which form it is located in, etc. It would also be amazing…

  13. We always select an "alternate" for each scholarship and each year end up awarding an alternate or two because the original recipient changes their plans or no longer meets the scholarship criteria (changes schools, majors, etc.). Being an alternate is different than a straight out denial. There should be a way to transfer the payment (or remaining payments) from one awardee to the alternate as there is in Community Suite.

  14. I would like to be able to make copies of forms. It seems odd that you can't "save" an original version of a form and then make a v2 with new edits and tweaks but rather have to create from scratch each time.

    If this is with all forms, then I would request copy function for all.

  16. Hi -

    I have mentioned this to several folks at Foundant, but I realize I have never posted it here. I would very much like to see a multi-currency function within Foundant. We award grants in the United States and Canada, in USD and CAD. When a grant is awarded in CAD, I would like to be able to see the award amount both CAD and award-date USD as well as enter both currency amounts (USD & CAD) at the time of payment so that I can see both currencies when I look back historically.

  18. Currently have “submitted” and “completed” tabs. As scholarships are received, I review them and like to push them through to completed but with third party cannot do this. Would like another tab where reviewed scholarships could be saved and the third party link would still function. Some of the third party responses could take up to two months for completion. I review over 700 scholarship applications in a 3-month period and this would tidy up my workspace. Currently have to keep a spreadsheet of student's names so I know who has been reviewed.

  19. I love how, under each Process, we can determine which administrators will get submission notifications for applications or follow-ups. Couldn't the software, someday, allow the applicants to determine which contacts under their organization should receive particular types of notifications? Of course, I would still need to be able to export those selections so I can use that information for our Outlook distribution lists for other information. But it would be nice to give some control to the applicant. So often, the person who submitted the grant moves on before the reports are due, or they may just have different staff…

  20. It would be helpful to see a list of upcoming grant payment deadlines on the dashboard. Perhaps each process or grant could be set up to have a 15 or 30 day notification window. Needing to run a report seems like too many steps for something so central to our operations. Thanks for considering it.
