Close Request - Batch
It would be helpful if you could use the batch Close Request function when their are still open follow ups. We terminate students who have submitted their follow for the semester but have to go individually in to the request to close it. Since you can close a request with open follow ups on an individual basis you should be able to do it by batch as well.

Highlight questions with different colors
It would be nice to be able to add different colors to questions. For example, highlighting all internal questions in yellow so we could quickly scroll through the application and see what sections we needed to fill out. Or, it would be nice to be able to highlight specific questions in the application that we wanted other reviewers to look at if there were issues or particularly interesting content. It would be like using colored sticky tabs on a paper application.

Timing of Automated Emails
Hi there. I notice that some of the automated emails I have set up in my processes are sent out by the Foundant system at odd hours of the night. Recently I had a batch of reminder emails that were sent through the Foundant system at 2:00 AM. It would be wonderful if I could set a time for those emails to go out, or at the very least to have the system send automated emails at a more reasonable hour. Delete users
DELETE USERS
It would be most helpful to be able to DELETE (not just deactivate) Users. We don't want to keep a bunch of outdated/not relevant /even deceased contacts under "inactive" if we don't have to. We have to keep some Users as "inactive" with dummy emails in order to show concurrent affiliations - so it's already a busy place for us.83 votes -
Grant Evaluations
When viewing applications in the Application Evaluation Assigned screen you are able to sort by Organization, Applicant, or Program (which we call Sector-Progam to group like applications by our giving pillars: Arts, Education, Health, Human Services, and Other. Our evaluators like to review in order of Sector-Progam. After completing and saving an evaluation you have two options: Return to Dashboard or Next Pending Evaluation. Returning to Dashboard results in multiple steps to get to the next evaluation, and Next Pending Evaluation defaults to an alpha order by Organization. Organization closed or is not longer in business
There should be a way to indicate an organization is no longer in business. Especially when dealing with multiyear awards.

batch charity check
Batch Charity Check
I would love to be able to run a batch charity check. Ideally, I should be checking charity status at the time an application is received (prior to bringing to the board for recommendation) and again once payment is being processed. We have to board cycles a year with approx. 150-175 grants per each cycle. Does anyone have any workarounds they've put in place?39 votes -
Grant Request Amount on Application Packet
The cycle, organization name, project name, and applicant print on the cover page. Any way to add the amount requested? Seems like that would be helpful to many wanting that cover page to be a snapshot.

Proxy landing page
When you are finished using proxy as an applicant, and you "stop proxying as ___" it would be great if you could remain on the same screen, but with your view. Or, at least go back to the screen you were on before you began to proxy.

Scholarship communication with applicants via text
Many students do not check their emails or voicemails on a regular basis. Some do not even set up their voicemail boxes. Texting is their primary mode of communication. Having the capability of texting messages to the applicant might speed up their response to our requests.

Administrator Comments in Quick Report for Submissions.
As we are running a quick report for Submissions, we found it would be helpful if one the fields we could include would be Administrator Comments. In our process, we have two administrators reviewing and there are actions that must be taken with each applicant to supply more info, clarify a narrative, or upload new documents. Instead of having to open each and every application to see these comments, the option to have them in the quick report would save a lot of time.

I just had to go through 55 applications and manually enter the time submitted for each application. Please consider adding this as a reportable data field under Request.

Reminder texts
We are a scholarship organization and fund students for four years of undergraduate study. We contact them at least three times per year via your email system, and the students don't respond very well to emails anymore. Local high schools have said, "Why don't you use REMIND.COM or the like - just text your scholarship recipients instead of email reminders." We collect our students mobile phone numbers - can you incorporate a text reminder program into your software processes? Thanks, Jim K. - keep up your good work!

System Administrator Comments visibility checkbox
Currently, when an Administrator adds comments to the system Admin Comments fields there is a checkbox to show the comments to applicant. If the checkbox is checked for the applicant to view the comments, the Evaluators will not see the comment. If the box is not checked, evaluators will see the comment.
Ideally, there is another check box that prevents both evaluators and applicants from viewing the comments. It should be an "Admin only" checkbox.

Number of Characters
Please make it very clear that characters include spaces. This is a basic definition of a character for Foundant that is different from other definitions. It took way to long for me to find that the character number limits include spaces, while the less useful information about the number of characters in a page was readily available.

Make Password Visible When Resetting for a User
I'm frequently asked to reset people's passwords when they've forgotten their login or have had a staff change at an organization. It's a really small thing, but it would be super helpful if, when setting up a password on behalf of someone else, that password field was visible, rather than showing up as the little character dots. I understand why we can't view user passwords for security purposes, but when I'm setting up a password for someone else, it would be great to confirm that I'm not typing anything incorrectly as I do so!
