  1. It would be nice if Universes were ordered alphabetically or if administrators could drag/drop to order. You can drag/drop Processes to order them, but not Universes. Universes show in the order in which they were built, which doesn't make much sense when an applicant scrolls down the page.

  2. I would love to see every question have the option (or not) to be in print packets. We have a few explanatory sections that no one (applicant, staff, evaluators) needs to see when reviewing.

  3. It seems like the functionality to adjust the time when a follow up is due is only available when using an auto-due date. But when manually assigning due dates there is no input for time. Also, the system defaults to 12:01 am instead of 11:59 pm. So if I manually enter 7/1 as the due date, grantees see a notification that their report is overdue when they log into the system on the morning of the 1st. This is very confusing for applicants. Can we add the time functionality to the manual due dates also please?

  5. Right now if I (admin) upload a third-party document (say a scholarship recommendation) on behalf of a recommender--because s/he can't figure it out or it doesn't work for some reason--it doesn't display to the applicant that it has been uploaded. They can't see it in the "count" summary (0/2 or whatever in their application summary) and they can't see it if they look in the application itself. It looks like I haven't uploaded anything - so then they're concerned it hasn't been uploaded and have to call or email me for reassurance. Please change this so that it shows up…

  7. Perhaps I'm missing something, but I would like to be able to add additional contacts to a request, without assigning them a password to log in. We use the cc/bc option a lot in our letters and the only way I can see to add these additional contacts requires me creating them, which them prompts the assignment of a password and them subsequently receiving an email about their account creation. Can there be a way to just add additional contacts that we can choose to merge with documents when we create them?

  11. It would be really handy if we could insert a hyperlink in an email to allow an applicant to be taken directly to their sign on page from the email. Example, if an automatic email goes out that an LOI has been approved and they can now go in to complete an application, it would be nice if they could access that link to the sign on page directly from the email.

  12. It would be incredibly useful if we could customize the Organizational Information form that organizations fill out when first registering with Foundant. By this I mean not just removing fields, but adding new fields, changing character counts, adding instructions, and changing the layout/order of the fields. For example, it would be very helpful to have organizations include their full legal name/fiscal sponsor's legal name in the organizational information page, rather than having to include that as a question on the LOI/Application each time an organization applies.

  15. I have noticed in multiple template field lists that the use of the Fund Public Name is not an available option. To not have the Public Name available for all templates that have the Fund Name option defeats the purpose of the Public Name. It would be nice if the Public name was the default name used on templates or at least an option on all templates.

  16. It would be really helpful for the organizer in me to be able to move around/re-arrange Follow Up Forms as well as Decisions. When creating new ones they go straight to the bottom, but if I could group them together in ways that would help my workflow that would be great!

Custom Message/Yellow Card - In the New Dashboard, the yellow card/custom message card in the upper left corner needs to have the visibility adjusted so more of our custom message can be seen, similar to the other cards. Right now, it is cut in half with a large blank space that serves no purpose.

  18. It would be great to be able to set up an email alert to internal staff when an application is approved or when an installment is coming due. If you have one off grants that aren't part of a cycle, it's otherwise very manual to let our finance team know it's time to process payment.

  19. We would like to request that Upload Responses, such as transcripts, be added to the Submitted and Complete bucket Quick Grid Views. Often, we need to pull transcripts or other uploads quickly, and it's difficult to go into each student's application to search, view, and download transcripts. If the uploads appeared in the Quick Grid View, we would be able to view these uploads more efficiently.

  20. We believe the administrator comment function is valuable. Its impact could be even stronger if given the option to notify the applicant that a new administrator comment has been added to their application. This seems to work well for the Idea Lab!
