  1. Currently, anyone with the "Grant Manager" role needs to have requests assigned to them by an admin. Admins do this by going to a request's summary page and linking the Grant Manager there. However, you need to do this ONE REQUEST AT A TIME. We have over 350 requests that we need to assign to a grant manager (we need flexibility in deactivating privileges, so we cannot make them an admin). That means an admin will need to go to 350+ request summaries and repetitively assign the request to this user.

    Please make batch options for that available. Ideally, the…

  2. Right now, when you create a new question in the universal application, you have go to each question and change what opportunities this question applies to. This can be very time consuming as there are over 45 opportunities linked to the universal application. It would make sense to be able to mark the applicant opportunities by question group as the default then if you need to make individual changes to some question, it would be much less time consuming. I set up my question groups to directly correlate with the the applicant eligibility and selection criteria for each scholarship.

  3. We had a lot of problems this year with 3rd party individuals being confused by the fact they received an email from the student and an email from us for the same request. Is there some way to streamline things so that the 3rd party recipient would only receive one email? I would prefer our template email to the student's email, as they often don't include all or the correct information. Or maybe possible to add the students email wording to the start of the auto-generated email? It became even more confusing for students who were requesting documents for multiple…

  4. Right now if I (admin) upload a third-party document (say a scholarship recommendation) on behalf of a recommender--because s/he can't figure it out or it doesn't work for some reason--it doesn't display to the applicant that it has been uploaded. They can't see it in the "count" summary (0/2 or whatever in their application summary) and they can't see it if they look in the application itself. It looks like I haven't uploaded anything - so then they're concerned it hasn't been uploaded and have to call or email me for reassurance. Please change this so that it shows up…

  5. I am relatively new to making reports, but I am finding it challenging to keep track of the reports and find the ones I need efficiently. It would be helpful to be able to group reports by topic, such as Approved Grants, Denied Applications, Fiscal Year, etc. We are thinking of a good naming convention to help with the sorting and finding (all suggestions welcome!).

  6. Right now the system only saves the first date an applicant saved an LOI or application draft. You have no idea if someone has abandoned the application or if they are slowly working on it. Is there a way to show when someone last saved an application or LOI? Furthermore, can you create a report that would show this information? Right now, quick export only shows the first date an application or LOI was saved so if you made the first change then maybe the date would be correct in quick export...?

  7. It's hard to tell which follows ups we have reviewed and which ones we haven't. It would be nice if the follow ups had a read/unread status- like emails- or if there was an additional bucket on the dashboard (additional status) for follow ups that have been reviewed. Note that we don't send follow ups back to the applicants because we don't want to have to review it twice. Adding the missing document is much easier. This applies to applications as well.

  8. I recently went into an organization's email history to look at an award notification, the original of which included an attachment, but the historical copy made no reference to an attachment. It would be helpful if historical emails referenced document(s) that may have been attached.

  9. We have a process where we give grants out - the applicant has to complete the grant contract and then submit a grant evaluation at school year end. However, some never submit their evaluations. We do not let them be eligible to apply for another grant unless all their evaluations have been submitted, so we do not want to close or abandon any of the outstanding follow up forms that say "MSHE Grant evaluation". However, at the end of the cycle, I want to be able to close out all my grant contracts that have been completed, however, since a…

  10. I would like to suggest an 'Abandoned' option for Follow-Ups, similar to that for Draft Applications. This way, incomplete overdue reports do not remain on the dashboard indefinitely. This would help with decluttering the dashboard, while also accurately marking the follow-up. As I understand, the only other option (apart from extending the deadline) would be to delete it, however we would want to keep them for record purposes. In the event that a grantee is able to fill out the report, we would then revert it back to Follow-Up Draft.

  11. We use Evaluations in GLM for ED Approvals. We then have to save a copy of the ED Approval in a sharepoint file and in CSuite. It would be nice to have a bulk export option in the Evaluations bucket so we can export the ED Approvals all at once.

  13. 'Installment' should be a field option that can auto-populate in GLM - email templates. We fund multi-year grants and it would be helpful to include both the total amount awarded as well as the installment amount.

  14. Now that the software provides options of creating merge documents in Word or PDF, it would be nice to be able to set one as default or if the software defaulted to the last type used. Scrolling down to choose one gets tedious if you are doing many documents and you can't necessarily do them as a batch.

  16. Request: Ability to apply regular expressions (REGEX) to a field in a table-style question.

    Use Case: Applicants are asked to assign percentages (%) to demographic questions about the population served. The total at the bottom must add up to 100%.

    Example:

    * 20% -- A
    * 20% -- B
    * 20% -- C
    * 20% -- D
    * 20 % -- E
    * 20% -- F
    TOTAL: 120% <-- would be rejected because it is not 100%

  17. Nonprofits often run under a DBA or have a common name they use that does not always match their 501 c 3 IRS Designation name. If there was a field in the GLM profile that allowed for a legal name and common name, syncing that over to C-Suite, which already has a legal name field, would be IMMENSELY helpful.

  19. We ask our awarded students for their photo in their initial follow up/award acceptance. I think it would be great to have a photo spot on the profile itself that we could have the kids (or us) add to their profile once they are a scholarship recipient. Would make it up close and personal every time we have to do something in SLM.

  20. It would be helpful to allow Admins to submit for an applicant. We have instances of students/nonprofits completing their application but not hitting the submit button before the deadline. It is cumbersome to change the deadline for that applicant, proxy in as them (or have them sign in) to click submit. It's especially time intensive for SLM UA where a student has multiple opportunities, and therefore, multiple places where a deadline would need to be changes.

    Similarly to reverting an application status, it would be nice to be able to progress an application from the admin side.
