  1. Need the system to generate a score for the application based on how questions on the application are answered. For example: a GPA between 3.8-4.0 would receive 10 pts, 3.6-3.79 would receive 8 pts, etc. This could be a % score.

  2. I would love to see every question have the option (or not) to be in print packets. We have a few explanatory sections that no one (applicant, staff, evaluators) needs to see when reviewing.

  3. It seems like the functionality to adjust the time when a follow up is due is only available when using an auto-due date. But when manually assigning due dates there is no input for time. Also, the system defaults to 12:01 am instead of 11:59 pm. So if I manually enter 7/1 as the due date, grantees see a notification that their report is overdue when they log into the system on the morning of the 1st. This is very confusing for applicants. Can we add the time functionality to the manual due dates also please?

  4. It would be nice to be able to archive follow-up forms that we no longer use for various reasons as we can now archive processes and email templates.

  5. Hello!

I understand the logic of the apply page, but it would be ideal if our organization had more control with choosing the order of processes more automatically. We would like our process manager to reflect the order of processes in the Apply page exactly.

Currently, we have different members working on various processes which affects the date the EQ was created and the order it will appear within the Process, despite how it is listed in the process manager.

I know a personal solution would be for us to create EQ's in the order we want the processes to…

  6. Currently, anyone with the "Grant Manager" role needs to have requests assigned to them by an admin. Admins do this by going to a request's summary page and linking the Grant Manager there. However, you need to do this ONE REQUEST AT A TIME. We have over 350 requests that we need to assign to a grant manager (we need flexibility in deactivating privileges, so we cannot make them an admin). That means an admin will need to go to 350+ request summaries and repetitively assign the request to this user.

Please make batch options for that available. Ideally, the…

  7. Right now, when you create a new question in the universal application, you have go to each question and change what opportunities this question applies to. This can be very time consuming as there are over 45 opportunities linked to the universal application. It would make sense to be able to mark the applicant opportunities by question group as the default then if you need to make individual changes to some question, it would be much less time consuming. I set up my question groups to directly correlate with the the applicant eligibility and selection criteria for each scholarship.

    For…

  8. We had a lot of problems this year with 3rd party individuals being confused by the fact they received an email from the student and an email from us for the same request. Is there some way to streamline things so that the 3rd party recipient would only receive one email? I would prefer our template email to the student's email, as they often don't include all or the correct information. Or maybe possible to add the students email wording to the start of the auto-generated email? It became even more confusing for students who were requesting documents for multiple…

  9. It would be helpful if you could use the batch Close Request function when their are still open follow ups. We terminate students who have submitted their follow for the semester but have to go individually in to the request to close it. Since you can close a request with open follow ups on an individual basis you should be able to do it by batch as well.

  10. I am relatively new to making reports, but I am finding it challenging to keep track of the reports and find the ones I need efficiently. It would be helpful to be able to group reports by topic, such as Approved Grants, Denied Applications, Fiscal Year, etc. We are thinking of a good naming convention to help with the sorting and finding (all suggestions welcome!).

  11. Right now the system only saves the first date an applicant saved an LOI or application draft. You have no idea if someone has abandoned the application or if they are slowly working on it. Is there a way to show when someone last saved an application or LOI? Furthermore, can you create a report that would show this information? Right now, quick export only shows the first date an application or LOI was saved so if you made the first change then maybe the date would be correct in quick export...?

  12. It's hard to tell which follows ups we have reviewed and which ones we haven't. It would be nice if the follow ups had a read/unread status- like emails- or if there was an additional bucket on the dashboard (additional status) for follow ups that have been reviewed. Note that we don't send follow ups back to the applicants because we don't want to have to review it twice. Adding the missing document is much easier. This applies to applications as well.

  13. I recently went into an organization's email history to look at an award notification, the original of which included an attachment, but the historical copy made no reference to an attachment. It would be helpful if historical emails referenced document(s) that may have been attached.

  14. Adding a global search bar in GLM that allows administrators to filter across all requests, decisions, organizations, users, applications, forms, emails, and notes by keyword would significantly improve efficiency and information retrieval.

There have been many instances where my President has asked for a list of grants related to specific initiatives or geographic areas - such as homelessness, hunger, substance abuse prevention, utility assistance, Smith Lake, or camps. These types of searches often can't be fulfilled by simply entering the name of an organization, user, or location. Instead, I’m left to manually comb through grant notes and entries from previous…

  15. I have noticed in multiple template field lists that the use of the Fund Public Name is not an available option. To not have the Public Name available for all templates that have the Fund Name option defeats the purpose of the Public Name. It would be nice if the Public name was the default name used on templates or at least an option on all templates.

  16. Change the symbol of the Integer question type away from a # to something else.

In our application we ask for percent of people served in our county. We built that question with the integer question type because that was the only question type where we could restrict the entry to two numerical digits.

But our applicants and reviewers are confused because we are asking for a percentage but the little symbol next to it is the number sign, so it almost looks like we are asking for the raw number of people, not the percent of people.

  17. I do see this was brought up in years past, but was hoping to renew interest in the topic. It would be great when using the Date question type to be able to select the format in which you would like that date provided. It would be great to be able to ask for a month and year, for example, especially when asking for degree conferral dates, where a specific day is often not known.

  19. We believe the administrator comment function is valuable. Its impact could be even stronger if given the option to notify the applicant that a new administrator comment has been added to their application. This seems to work well for the Idea Lab!
