Secure option to obtain ACH information
We'd like a secure way to obtain ACH information from grantees and vendors that feeds directly into CSuite. We obtain it now through an outside system and it's very manual and requires extra communication.

3/5/2025: Portal-Profile: Added the ability to collect Bank Account and Routing information. Added a left hand menu, Banking Information. This is a setting that can be enabled through Portal Options, Portal Settings, and then Edit Profile-Show/Edit Banking Information. This will allow users to enable the ability to collect bank and routing information from profiles. On Portal, there is a Set ACH button to allow setting of bank account and routing number, if fields are blank. If there is data in the account and routing, the profile will need to Clear ACH to enter new information. Portal-Profile: Added the ability to collect EIN/SSN on Portal. For organization profiles, the EIN will display with the address information. For allowing individual profiles access to SSN, users can use enable this through Portal Options, Portal Settings, and then Edit Profile-Allow Set/Clear SSN. With this enabled, a profile will see SSN field with Address information and a new Clear SSN or Set SSN button will appear. Set the SSN will allow profile to enter a SSN. Once a SSN is set, a profile will need to use Clear SSN to update or remove the information

Seconding what Anna said - I think there needs to be some security measures added to this. Having "login as" access then opens up the ability to change the ACH info for anyone and simply changing a profile's primary email opens up the ability too. I would actually prefer to see this tied to the "pay" email over the primary since that is the ACH notification email. And then maybe there could be notification to that email both when the ACH info is changed and when that "pay" email is changed? Something that could raise some flags if anything unauthorized was happening.

Is there any notifications on changes by vendors/grantees to this information? With the current setup, I'm concerned someone unauthorized with the vendor/grantee's access could go in and make changes to ACH information without our knowledge.

We use a secure third-party app to capture and store ACH info, but it's not connected to C-Suite, nor to our on-line banking app. It's prone to fat fingering and mistakes and DKs on payments. We need this!

With the security risks of data breach using outside tools for ACH submission and email (gasp!) this is a critical request to protect the recipient funds.

Greater Milwaukee requests this functionality as well.

Also, if it can verify the routing number (when it is entered/configured) is valid or invalid. Currently, a NACHA file is run with the account information that is configured and then uploaded to the bank where, only then, you will find out if the routing is valid or not. Would be nice to find this out on the front end of the process rather than the end of the process.

With all the buzz lately about creating portals for audiences - it would be great if there is a Vendor portal that allows vendors to enter their info directly into csuite and attach the verification docs required

This would save us so much time!

We would like to be able to edit the routing numbers on the profiles without having to ask the grantee for their account numbers. Acct numbers which are already in the system, but we can only see the last four digits.

An integration with a service like Bill.com or DocuSign would be great given that they have the appropriate cyber controls for collecting this information.

Adding the FormAssembly to collect the ACH info instead of inputting the info manually would make the process much faster.

A partner non-profit shared they currently use FormAssembly (https://www.formassembly.com/) to securely collect ACH banking information and pass it directly to their Grants Management Systems. Removing the manuel entry of ACH. It would be great if CSuite could offer the same functionality.

This would be really helpful as we consider adding ACH. Having that sensitive banking information only obtained and stored in one location would help improve cybersecurity.
