  1. When validating addresses in CSuite with the USPS validation, please spell out the entire city name as preferred by the post office (see screenshot below) instead of abbreviating city names that are 13 or more characters.

  2. When we email customer invoices the primary email is the default email, even if there is a separately marked pay email on the profile. Invoices should default to going to the pay address, not the primary. If you email invoices individually you can select what email address to use but you can't see which email is marked primary or pay unless you go back to the profile which is tedious, and the bulk email does not even list the option to switch the recipient email .   3. We should be able to add multiple unused checks at one time in a batch instead of needing to add them one by one. For example, if you have a printer error and need to mark 30+ checks as unused this is very tedious to do one by one.

  5. Enable entry of Grant Type on Refund Grants to ensure accurate grant reporting. This will allow grants to be correctly grouped by Grant Type in reporting. Currently, capturing this information requires manual adjustments in Excel after exporting the report.

  6. Within the Duplicates option, any duplicate profiles that have accents or umlauts are not able to be deduplicated from the current workflow being:

    Profiles>Duplicates> then clicking the accented name.

    In lieu of returning a page where you can merge the profiles, you get a yellow warning that says "Not Found". Therefore, foundations with more individuals/names with accented names are not able to fully use the dedupe functions.

  7. It would be extremely helpful to have an Outstanding Loan Balance field available within loan templates and as an option for custom reports.

    Our organization would like to send annual loan statements to clients that clearly show the remaining balance on each loan. Currently, there isn’t a straightforward way to include this information, which makes it difficult to provide complete and transparent communication to our borrowers.

  8. Require Primary Advisor Approval - Multiple Advisors

    On a fund with multiple advisors, currently only one Primary may be indicated when requiring approval of a grant request. If someone other than the Primary submits a request, the Primary is notified to log in and approve the request. If the Primary submits a request, none of the other advisors are notified for approval. We need to be able to require equal approval from all advisors, so that when any advisor makes a grant request, the other advisors will be prompted to log in for approval.

Many of our donors or grantees with access to the portal are having trouble setting (or resetting) a password because there is no guidance on the login page for what their passwords must contain, i.e. minimum characters, special characters, etc. I asked support if we could add info on the login page but they said, currently, there is no ability to do this.   12. Can the task description field be a long text field instead of a short text field? Also would be great to make this a rich text field so we can add bullet points. We like to create a general task with more information on what is needed to complete the task.

Please integrate an option for a yearly consolidated tax receipt that would issue a single tax receipt number for all annual recurring donations, instead of having to send12 separate receipts at year end. This is standard practice in Canada and is required to comply with Canadian law/CRA. We are not able to send a summary document with all receipt numbers listed, although being able to attach a summary to the single receipt is nice, but not necessary.

  14. When entering a note for another individual, it would be great if the "Who" was an option to change when entering the note. Currently I have to enter the note, then edit the note to change the "Who." Thanks!

  16. Each fund has an option to keep spendable amounts in the checking account. We use this for all invested funds. For several long term grants, we post the grant long before it's paid which will take it out of spendable so our program staff doesn't overspend the fund. However, during the cash swap process, CSuite wants to roll those funds back into the investment. Since we've already committed those funds, we don't want them at risk in the market. The only current option is to remember to uncheck those transactions when balancing the asset accounts so it doesn't swap. This…

  17. Currently, it doesn't appear that you can add a deceased individual as a donation advisor. This creates issues when someone gives us money through their estate. The donor will usually be "the estate of" or a trust associated with the original donor. But we cannot add the deceased individual. That means we won't be able to see a donor's total giving history even if they made clear their intentions during their lifetime.

  18. Sometimes nonprofits don't cash their checks for grants and after months we need to void and reissue a check for the grant. The problem is that the system sends a grant paid email to fund advisors who have grant notify on. This causes a lot of confusion because fund advisors are notified that a grant is paid and think it is a mistake, they don't attribute it to the original grant they made because it could have been months ago.   20. When sending grant award letters via Email - please create a function to auto-populate the non-primary emails into the cc fields. This would save so much time and not require staff to remember and manually add ccs each time. Alert notes don't even show up in the Email Grant Documents area so there's not an easy way to be reminded of who needs to be cced. There should be an option to automatically include more than just the primary email. Please also add any cc emails sent to the log of the grant and profile. Currently only the primary email…
