copy application - applicantsIt would be great, when copy form is allowed for applicants, internal questions would come in blank. That way it's a "fresh" form for us, if that makes sense. 5 votes

Due date for evaluationsWould you consider adding a hard due date for evaluations like there is for applications? This would allow us to use due date as a merge field in our email communications to evaluators to notify them when they are due. It would nice to have an auto-reminder 2 weeks in advance etc. 81 votes

Access codeApplicant's often ask me about a Access Code. We never use them.
It would be helpful if you can include a statement at the end of where it says .... "at the top of this page..." another sentance that says "If you you have not been provided an access code - please click on the home button above.6 votes

Automatic emails to evaluatorsWhen evaluators are assigned applications as a batch action, it would be really helpful if an automatic email could go out to each evaluator letting them know they have been assigned applications for a particular process (one email per process, not per application). Currently, the only way evaluators can receive an automatic email is if each application is assigned one by one. That's time-consuming for the person assigning the evaluators, and that would generate a lot of individual emails to each evaluator. Having automatic emails go out to evaluators after batch assignments are made would eliminate the current two-step process… 4 votes

Batch Assign Applications to Evaluators by Applicant Name AutomaticallyWe have about 60 scholarships, 200 applicants (1,100 applications), and 32 reviewers every year. When I assign applications for review, I want every student to be assigned to 2 reviewers. And I want all reviewers to have roughly the same number of applicants/students (not applications since we use Universal App). So I sort the applications by applicant name, and then manually click all applications for students x, y, z, and then batch assign to 2 reviewers. I have to repeat this process for all 1,100 applications in the system. I would love for there to be an automated way to… 5 votes

3rd Party Decline Option:We have had instances where we are reaching out to 3rd party requests (specifically with LOR) and they refuse to submit a letter on the student's behalf. Would it be possible or beneficial for there to be a decline option in the automated email so the student can find someone else? And yes, we do include strong language to encourage students to talk with teachers/counselors they would like to have submit a letter of recommendation on their behalf. 4 votes

Update Time Stamps - Re-submitted Follow UpsThe submission date does not update on follow - up forms that were re-submitted after being reverted to draft status. It would be great to have the most current date of submission. 30 votes

Reverting documentsOn a couple of occasions, I have accidentally reverted an application from application draft to LOI draft. Unfortunately, this erases all entries that were made to the application. I would like to see if this can be altered to allow all information that is entered in application draft to be retained. Otherwise, the applicant must re-enter all information and upload associated documentation again. I understand this is my mistake, but this is not a user friendly feature. Thank you. 1 vote

Streamlining Third Party Question GroupsAsking an applicant to compose an email to their anonymous third party is an extra step that overcomplicates things. The applicant has to deal with opening up an email interface, copy-pasting a pre-written message, etc. And for what? It's redundant to send the third party an email explaining that they'll be getting another email. It should work like references on a resume. Provide us with the third party's email address, and we'll contact them ourselves. Simple as. 4 votes

cherie.good@dawnfoods.comWe have expanded to use this application to our Europe locations. As of right now, the Amount Requested is hard coded to ONLY dollars. Is there any interest in expanding this to other currencies? 1 vote

Link Sharing ErrorsWhen sharing a link to an LOI, Application, or Follow Up with someone on your team to easily access, the link often produces an error message, especially when the team member has another tab open to the Foundant login page. We would appreciate being able to share links to data within the platform without those links resulting in errors. 3 votes

Increase number of columns in tablesTo effectively use Tables as a shared question in a Follow Up (as stated in documentation, very helpful for Budget and ongoing grantee progress statements) - being limited to only 5 columns does not allow for multi-year grants especially 2 votesThank you for this feedback. We currently have the limitation to making sure tables easily appear on screens and print packers but are continuing to evaluate ways to expand this functionality.

Indicator of which follow up you're viewing under a requestIt would be helpful when reviewing follow ups under a request to be able to tell which follow up you're currently viewing. We have to toggle between follow up sometimes during our review process, and the questions within the forms are mostly the same, the follow ups are tagged for the year it is to be submitted, though as you toggle back and forth it's hard to identify under which follow up you're under to provide approval/recommendations. 7 votes

Differentiate between applicant-abandoned and administrator-abandoned applicationsI would like to see the ability to run a report that differentiates between applications that are applicant-abandoned vs. admin-abandoned. Use case: We had to close several opportunities after they opened. Students who had already applied (or had applications in-progress) were notified, and their applications were abandoned (admin-abandoned). In some cases, a student had abandoned an application prior, and it would be helpful for a report to show whether the abandon was initiated by the applicant or by an admin. 76 votes

Star Grant Reports for SharingI would love a way to flag or star specific grant reports with high-quality content/photos for sharing out. We are working on sharing more of our grantee success stories and it would be great to save specific reports we want to share later on, potentially with the ability to create a report of these follow ups so we can find them easily. 1 vote

Additional EvaluationsWe have several stages of evaluation; the two evaluations are not sufficient for us to be able to understand and assess applications effectively. It would be helpful if we could add additional evaluations, as needed, by process. 4 votes

follow up viewsPlease provide the option to have the Process name appear in the follow-up view. Currently we have the same Follow-up form appearing from three different processes but have no idea which process each one is related to. This is only going to become a bigger issue as time goes by. 14 votes

GLM Linkage to QuickBooks for Grantee OrganizationsThere needs to be a way to link GLM Organizations to QB Online or Desktop via Other rather than Vendor. Vendor linkage is fine for true vendors who have provided a good or service, but the IRS requires that grantors receive no goods or services from their grantees. This is a legal definition. Thus, you are mixing two distinct groups whom a grantor pays. 1 vote

Evaluator view gridI heard from an Evaluator who was frustrated with the view of a grid/table on his evaluator view. As he was working in the side-by-side (evaluator/application) view, he coudln't see any of the content of the (in this case) Student Activities grid. There was content in boxes that he wanted to see but the dropdown carrot took up most of the space and he couldn't read the student replies.
Getting rid of the carrots would probably help but just in general, some way to better view the contents of a grid format answer would be wonderful.
