  1. We would like the ability to 'Close' an application, rather than 'abandon' or 'deny'. We leverage GLM to have a General Inquiry, which we then copy applications to different processes depending on a conversation with the applicant. Once we're done - not moving forward through the system, it causes confusion for the applicant to see the original as denied/abandoned.

  2. There is a weird process you need to do to prevent GLM grants from being processed before a grant agreement has been received...you have to toggle the GLM approval button on then off so the system recognizes the imported Csuite grant. This is annoying and inefficient. There is a batch approve option, why not just add the batch unapprove option?

  3. Asking an applicant to compose an email to their anonymous third party is an extra step that overcomplicates things. The applicant has to deal with opening up an email interface, copy-pasting a pre-written message, etc. And for what? It's redundant to send the third party an email explaining that they'll be getting another email.

    It should work like references on a resume. Provide us with the third party's email address, and we'll contact them ourselves. Simple as.

  5. In the eligibility quiz in GLM, the ability to customize a "passing" message like you can customize a "failure" message would be beneficial to make things very clear to applicants that they can move on to the application stage. We had a few organizations last cycle that passed the eligibility quiz but it wasn't entirely clear to them that they were allowed to move onto the next step in the application process.

  6. I am having a hard time getting Latino scholarship applicants because it takes 2 factor verification to get into the system. Most of our Latino students do not have cell phones or computers at home so it is difficult for them to apply

  8. The student sees the 'Assigned to You' list and the Confirmation Page opportunities in a random order. Please let us control that based on how they are listed on the opportunities tab. It would look way better to be in Alphabetical order.

  11. I would like to be able to turn off the ability to search users (in GLM and SLM) and search organizations (in GLM) for grant mangers.

    As a grant manager in SLM, I am able to search and view contact info for students (who are minors) that I am not assigned to.

  13. It would be great if we could put email templates in folders by grant opportunity. We have so many on our CF and have to scroll down to find each one because they are so different. Please make folders to make it easier to find the templates we need.

  14. It would be great to set up an automated email sequence for applicants that was timed around incomplete draft applications. For example, one week after an application is started, an automated template email is sent with a "thank you for starting an application, if you have questions or need help please reach out to....don't forget the application deadline is X"....and similar. I try and send reminders to our in-progress draft applicants regularly; having an automated sequence would be really great--similar to what you see in email marketing packages.

  15. I recently requested that some fields be synched between two processes. The sync resulted in broken branching logic on one of them. I would like for branching logic to be automatically updated when fields used in the logic are updated, i.e. when fields are synced, or when a multiple choice item is renamed. Because the updates often are made outside of the form that has the affected logic, the only way the broken logic is ultimately discovered is when an applicant encounters an issue and reports it.   16. It would be useful to see the name of the Organization at all time when working in a request. When we have long forms, the name is not visible as we go down the form.

    When we go back and forth between other applications, it could be practical to be able to see the name without going up the page.

  17. Include mergeable fields to be used in templates and reporting based on the staff member assigned to the request. Currently, there are only merged fields for the applicant assigned to the request, not the internal staff member.

  19. UA - Application - See the total # of opportunities a 'opportunity specific question' applies to.

    I have several questions that are only for need-based scholarships. On every one of these questions I have to check my 40-50 opportunities. It would be very helpful to see the total number that are checked to help me be sure I have them all.

  20. With grant catalogs, we're able to hide the donate button until we're ready to let donors contribute; however, we are not able to hide the "add to cart" button for each individual grant when someone clicks directly into that grant from the grant catalog. For our Match Days, some organizations like to have the unique URL for their specific grant catalog item to promote which bypasses the top level grant catalog. This is where we cannot suppress until "Match Day" starts.
