  1. It would be very helpful if, on the applicant side of the dashboard, that urgent items/impending due dates could be big/red/or listed at the top of each process.
    We consistently run into grantees not being able to find their final grant report/follow up forms that are due on their dashboard because it's listed at the bottom and not called to attention in any real way.

    Also, many grantees never see the edit button to the far right because there's a large white space after the text, so they assume there's no more information and don't realize that the full page…

  2. It would be great if the apply page could be shown in a grid or have a sort of table of contents on the side/top of the page -- we had several applicants apply to the wrong process because they clicked on the first opportunity (which takes up most of the screen). It seems some of them did not realize they could scroll/did not realize that there were multiple opportunities on the apply page.

  3. View for students needs updating. We previously used a different software. Each section (family, academics, essays, etc.) had it's own customizable icon with a picture and a progress bar to show what % of that section was completed. SLM UA looks so daunting for students.

When an applicant returns to the application to resume work, the groups of questions could be collapsed and if all questions within the group are complete - the group could be flagged (with a check or a color change). Or, have an option to allow the admins to create the applications in pages, which can be flagged as complete when all questions are filled in on that page.

  6. We would like to be able to track applicant clicks through the system so we can see if changes made impact user abandon rates in certain parts of their online journey with us. For example, when/where in the process do they give up? This would allow us to identify where we might need better instructions or a change in the questions or flow.

  7. It would be great to have a feature where we could change the color of tabs on the applicant dashboard. We get many calls from applicants who are having difficulty navigating their dashboard and breaking up the dashboard with different colors would likely help with this.

  8. Please consider adding the option in the Process Summary that allows us to limit the number of applications an applicant can begin within that process. We only accept one application for most of our grant programs and would like to be able to set a limit to the number of applications one can start. Currently, applicants can start multiple drafts of an application. This creates lots of abandoned applications.

    The Apply button could be deactivated and greyed out once an applicant has reached the limit of applications that can be drafted and submitted within the process.

  9. A Chat feature to be able to help students in the moment could be very helpful.

    Student behavior - Once they leave an application it is hard to get them back to finish it. Students are used to using a CHAT feature when they need help. They often won't pick up a phone for help & are hesitant to send emails.

    I would rather help them in the moment then spend time on my Dashboard figuring out why they have some applications in draft, some in submitted and emailing them how to keep going. (Students often don't read emails)

  10. I'd love the option to add question mark icons next to our application questions that would invite applicants to hover over them if they want information as to why we are asking the question. It would go a long way in making the process more transparent and minimizing the power gap. (Similar to what you offer in the Process Manager)

  11. A lot of our users get confused when they initially look at their applicant dashboard because all of the grant requests are expanded and finding each individual grant gets confusing. Also, the title of each grant does not stand out very well since it is just a grey button. It would be helpful if we could change the default view of the applicant dashboard so that all of the requests are collapsed, and then you can click on each to expand, instead of starting with the expanded view.

  12. New applicants are seeking the apply option when they log in the first time. While the new format for the dashboard makes other navigation clearer, the Apply gets lost in the navigation bar at the top of the page. Suggest making the Apply option larger and bolded so it's more visible.

  13. We would to have a 'Shared Documents' folder specifically for our applicants/grantees to be able to access.

    I.e. This way the Agreement to Grant Terms is available for them to access at any time through their profile.

  15. Challenge: at most times of the year, we have between 3 and 5 processes "open" at 1 time. Some of our applicants do not realize we have several grant rounds open and do not scroll to find the correct process. They click the first apply button that they see and fill out the incorrect application! Idea: would it be possible to have the Available process have 1 line (like the dropdown in the application) so that 5 or 6 processes would show at 1 time; the applicant would click to open the drop-down description, and reveal the preview and apply…

  16. I love that we can allow all users to see the organization's request history - we just put this into place. However, they can't see who the follow ups are assigned to, and can't see the question list for the follow up - will that eventually be added? (I'm sure it's complex technologically.) It would be so helpful if they could see, "oh, Emily the CFO is currently set up to submit the follow up, and I can contact the funder to get it assigned to me now that Emily has left the organization." or even "oh, Emily has access…

  17. It would be helpful to allow applicants to add rows/columns to tables in the event they need more space than we have built out. The function would need to be made so that the admin could lock rows and columns if needed so that the applicant cannot add fields outside of summary rows, for example.

  18. Currently, for active processes, there are three visibility options: Public, Restricted, and Internal.

    Public: Visible to applicants; applicants able to apply when open
    Internal: Not visible to applicants
    Restricted: Only visible to applicants with the corresponding access code

    Based on the use of our applicants & grantees, I would love to see a fourth option added that would allow a process to be visible to applicants, but locked, so that applicants would need an access code to apply. Essentially a restricted visibility where the applicants could still view the process as if it were public, but still requiring a code.

  19. It would be really useful if the Copy Previous Answers function worked for all requests under an Organizational profile instead of just the specific User profile. This would be helpful for some of our organizations who experience high turnover or for folks who are applying when other colleagues are on leave.

  20. It would be nice if Universes were ordered alphabetically or if administrators could drag/drop to order. You can drag/drop Processes to order them, but not Universes. Universes show in the order in which they were built, which doesn't make much sense when an applicant scrolls down the page.
