  1. Scheduled reports: Would be nice to be able to add text to the body of the email when scheduling reports for distribution. This would allow for addition information to the recipient on purpose and/or use of the report data. Particularly useful when sending data in CSV format where that data is intended for use in a subsequent process.

  2. Could you create a setting in system data that allows users to set organization-wide default content settings for font family (i.e. all content uses Arial font)?

    This would help us ensure that all the content in all the possible places could be the same font type, in line with our brand standards and creating a necessary professional look. Since content exists in CS in so many places, it would be much more difficult to check all the spots and settings one by one.

  3. When requesting grants, fund holders should be able to select how they would like to be recognized. They should be able to select between fund name only, fund holder name, address, and email.

    Often times our fund holders select different recognition options for certain organizations outside of anonymous or not. We encourage organizations to send thank you letters to the donors and this helps make that connection.

  5. We want to have a stewardship program based on Fund Milestone Anniversaries - 1rst, 5th, 10th, 15th etc.. Currently the only way to manage is to use an excel spreadsheet to track the upcoming dates. If there was a function that permit this within CSuite, that could be reported on, that'd be great! Ideally, we could report on any fund that has a milestone anniversary year in any given year.

  6. When I login as another CSuite User and then make an update, the system log shows the action was made by the CSuite User, not by me proxied in as the CSuite user. Is there any way for you to record in the system log when an action has been completed by someone else proxied in as the user? We feel this is critical for audit purposes.

  7. True multiyear grants that are approved once and paid out over several years do not show up in the grant summary table (grant tab of the Grantee designation) until the final payable is paid out. After the final payment, the entire grant amount is shows only in the approved year, which could be serval years prior. Now that this table is also shown in the Grantee portal, it provides an incomplete picture of the yearly grant summary when multiyears are involved, and causes customer confusion when the entire amount suddenly appears years in the past.

  8. We would like to be able to assign check templates to funds. We have our default check and several other check templates. Almost all of the additional templates are specific to certain funds. It would be great if we could set a default check for each fund.

  9. We love the bulk update functions in custom reports for grants. It would be incredibly helpful to have the option to bulk upload IDs and then gain access to the bulk options for grants.

    For example, we are tracking grants for Hurricane Helene, which requires pulling reports and sorting in excel. It would be worlds more efficient if we could bulk upload grant IDs to mark the custom fields on these grants at once (vs. going one at a time, incredibly time consuming during a challenging time in our state).

  10. When the profile of a Nonprofit Organization is edited, it would be awesome to have some sort of reminder that there is a Nonprofit profile associated with it that may also need to be updated. For example, if an organization profile has a new primary contact and it is also tagged as a nonprofit, most of the time that means the Nonprofit profile primary contact also needs changed, since they are not linked.

  11. Please add Primary Fund Advisor field to the Profile Fund custom report. Currently there is no way to see which funds do not have a primary advisor or have out-of-date primary advisors, without opening each individual Fund record. It's making system setup and maintenance unmanageable.

  12. It would be nice if we could write comments for fields. It would enable us to have in-line recommendation for our conventions when entering new information. The system already does this as provided by Foundant, for instance:

    When entering a donation, the donation field has italicised text next to it "Donor wishes this donation to be anonymous" when in edit mode. It would be nice if we could add that kind of text ourselves to any field so that when we had edit mode open, it would show us our own recommendations for fields.

  13. Currently event ticket sales is the only place to post an item to sell where the proceeds will benefit the fund. This is confusing for some folks how it appears to the buyers. We are selling a book where the proceeds will benefit one our funds. In the future there could be campaigns selling a t-shirt or other items with all proceeds benefitting the fund.

    There is the ability to customize the text in the portal. Headings can be edited in Portal Options>Portal Settings. Then select the profile designation you would like to edit. Button colors and colors on the button text can be customized, but not the text within the button.


    In the same section, Portal Options> Portal Content controls text in different areas of the portal. Please reference the help article for further instruction.

  15. As the CFO, I work on fund clean-up and other grants movement all the time. It would be helpful if grants went to the Approval bucket in Vouchers so my CEO could approve all of the week's payments at once and I wouldn't have to ask her to approve grants constantly. OR so I don't have to constantly change the Settings in Grants back and forth. Maybe this is a toggle within the grant creation? Thanks for considering this idea!

  16. We have some donor advisors who have endowed funds and want 100/50/etc% of their annual distribution to go to the same organization each year. Currently they can only set an amount for a recurring grant recommendation, but since their fund is subject to a spending policy their spendable balance amount varies year after year. Setting a percentage vs. an amount would be helpful.

  17. Please add capability to set up recurring invoices for incoming cash payments such as rent that is received on a regular basis (most commonly monthly in our case)

  19. It would be nice if the GLM status showed in CSuite the same way the CSuite status shows in GLM. This would keep from bouncing back and forth between applications.

  20. We would like to able to assess a yearly minimum fee that is not at the end of the calendar year but at the end of Q2. If we could adjust the dates for minimum fees that would be very helpful for our process.
