Donor name on reports
When an interfund grant is processed the donation side of the transaction lists the name without the corresponding fund number when reporting. It would be helpful if the full name including the fund number displayed on reports.

Multiple Opportunity Beneficiaries
(Reposting an archived idea) Please add the ability to link multiple beneficiary profiles to one opportunity. It is common for us to track gifts (e.g. bequests or planned gifts) that will end up benefiting multiple organizations in our community, and we would like to be able to report on opportunities benefiting each organization without having to create duplicate opportunities for each beneficiary of a gift.

Portal: Display donor mailing label or recognition name instead of name
Options for how fund advisors see donor info -- When displaying donor info to a fund advisor in the portal, we should have options for how the name is displayed. In many cases, it would be great to have the Mailing Label field (e.g. J. Jackson Smith) or Recognition Name field (e.g. Jack Smith) showing instead of the Name field (e.g. Smith, Jonathan Jackson).

Select users to share custom reports with instead of sharing with everyone
It is very rare that a custom report needs to be shared with every employee, typically just one other person or a team. It would be very helpful to be able to select from the user list which employees you want to share with and be able to edit who you shared with at anytime. This will avoid the custom report page from getting overwhelmingly long for everyone.

Add Grant Service Area to Bulk Action options in custom reports
Please add "Set Service Area" to the options under Bulk Actions of a custom report just like there is the ability to "Set Grant Type" from this menu. This field does not have the ability to be required on all grants and it very important to have filled in to report on who our grant dollars are serving, so if it is not filled in for a group of grants that can mean manually updating hundreds at a time.

Allow donations/pledges to use invoicing and tax receipt functionality
When soliciting donations from larger corporations, many of those organizations are requesting an invoice (or proforma invoice) from us to pay the donation. Currently there is no way to create an invoice and associated it as a donation. If an invoice is created, there is no way associate that payment with a tax receipt and include this payment as a donation on the manual statement of the fund. A huge enhancement would be integrate the invoicing functionality with a 'donation' or a pledge to allow for proper accountability with the fund statement and give the ability for tax receipts to…

Display Org Role detail (active, dates on profiles)
It's great that org roles let you select "active" and enter dates, but the dates only show on the org profile, not the individuals, and the "active" setting is displayed nowhere.
My idea is that the status (Active/inactive) is displayed on both org and profile under relationships tab, as well as the dates. Currently if its not active the role is italicized, which is way too subtle.

Grant Catalog Request Fields - Make Optional
Please make grant catalog request fields OPTIONAL. Foundant subscribers should be able to customize the fields they want populated.
When creating a new grant catalog entry in CSuite, all fields in the request are required in order to submit. We have also tried using the Grant Catalog Fields within a GLM application in order to sync to a catalog in CSuite, and again ALL fields are required. The required fields add more information than we want to present to our donors. The current functionality creates a lot more work for our team to produce what our donors want to see.…8 votes -
Add "Grant Request Advisor Name" field to Grant and Grant Status custom reports
The "Grant Request Advisor Name" field only exists on the grant request record and in the Grant Request custom report. We would like to see this field available in other reports such as the Grant Report or Grant Status custom report so that we can pull that into grant reports. Is that a possibility?

account transfer
Would like to suggest a change to what happens when you click on the menu item "account transfers." Currently you get two part display of a limited number of physical transfers on the top and balance swaps below. If I need to "see more" to get to an older date, I lose the ability to see the other type of transfer. It would be helpful to be able to choose which type of transfer and display more of each by opening separate windows so I can see them side by side, or to have both the top and bottom sections…

Foundant for Outlook add-in: add date to note
Please bring over the date of the email when the Foundant add-in is used to copy an email to a note in CSuite from Outlook. Currently the note date is the date the email is copied (even if that is not the day the email was sent/received), and the original email send date is not recorded anywhere in the body of the CSuite note.

Expand capability of "add note to CSuite" Outlook integration
Thank you for creating the Foundant for Outlook add-in with the "add note to CSuite" feature! I would love to see the "add note" function expand to include profile Opportunities. We encourage our staff to use the opportunities area to document many types of communications, so it would be great for us to have the option to use the Outlook add-in to create a note within an existing profile opportunity when an email is sent or received (maybe this could be an option nested under the existing profile search?).

Have the option for a specific fund to not display the "anonymous donation" checkbox when checking out.
We have a specific fund that needs to track everyone who is making a donation as they are using their fund as a flow-through. However, a few members had made their donations and accidentally marked their donations as anonymous when checking out. This made it difficult for the Fund Advisor to follow up with those who had not made their donations. To make it easier for both the Fund Advisor and the members who are donating, it would be nice to have the option to disable/remove the "Anonymous Donation" checkbox from the checkout screen, but only for this specific fund…

Ability to remove Work Organization and Title from Campaign Mailing Addresses
We desperately need an option to remove Work Organization and Title from mailing addresses created from a campaign!
Currently there is no option to remove these fields, which is frustrating because we like to utilize them internally but people's titles and working organizations change frequently.
Also, can we export the mailing labels as a docx?

new portal
Many things can be renamed or turned off on the left side navigation of the new portal. However, under the "Grantee" tab the left side navigation lists "Summary, Grants and Scholarships". I think we should have the ability to turn off scholarships particularly if you do not use that language with your grantees and there is a student tab that has scholarship info. It seems like it would cause some confusion. I realize some orgs my call their grants or donations scholarships so it would make sense to be able to turn this particular section off and on for grantees…

Ability to Add Custom Fields to the Edit Menu for Designations
Please add the option to add particular custom fields to the edit menu of specific designations. For instance, it would be amazing if we could add a custom field to the Grantee designation's Edit menu.
This would allow me to choose particular custom fields that would show on the edit menu of one or all of the specific profile designations. When I go to that Designation and click Edit, I will see the custom field I added and the ability to input/select a response for the custom field.

This was suggested in 2022 & archived without being implemented, but I'm re-posting because I would find it very helpful to be able to export the list of undeposited items in the till. I often need to add totals by period and currently have to manually add them. There are also times I need to sort by something other than date.

Auto-input fund advisor contacts when sending documents that have been uploaded to a grant file (ie. grant report)
When uploading documents (ie. a report) to a grant file, there is now the option to 'email' the document, as well as sharing it with the donor in their fund portal.
The email option currently auto-fills the email address of the grantee organisation, however it would be ideal if the email template pulled the email addresses of the fund advisors of the grant for ease of sharing the report with the funder.
It would be great if the copy field were blank, or also pre-filled the fund advisor email contacts as options, as opposed to just the grantee contact.

Formatting for "Amount" fields in all Content areas
Please format the "amount" field for all Content notifications to display as $#,###.## (e.g., $64,500.00). Formatting currency with commas is essential for clarity, especially with larger numbers.
