Change Fund History Total Grants to not include unposted grants
When a user is on a Fund and selects History, it will list Total Grants with a dollar amount. We discovered that this total will include unposted grants and clicking the link for the backup list of grants does not include unposted grants. This is confusing and needs to be fixed.
We'd rather Total Grants under Fund History did not include unposted grants in the total. Or if unposted grants are part of the total, at least include them in the linked report.

Editing the Tab Headers
I am working on our Fund Advisor page in the new portal. We renamed our "Grants" tab to "Grant History" Under that option there are three tabs "Grant Summary, Grant History, and Recurring Grants". Under the Grant Summary tab we can add a description however under the other 2 tabs we cannot. It would be helpful to be able to add a description or instructions under the other 2 tabs.

Balance Swaps Should Warn if a Account goes Negative
C-Suite allows balance swaps to swap out of investment accounts even if it causes the investment account to go negative. There should at least be a warning to prevent this from happening. Requested by GMF.

Add Fund field for templates should allow for shortname also
The Add Fund field for templates currently does not recognize shortnames. It should look up funds by shortnames like most all other fields in the system.

Integration with Payroll or Payroll Module in CommunitySuite
Would really like to be able to process payroll through CommunitySuite, either by adding a payroll module to the system or by integrating CommunitySuite with a payroll solution so that would automatically push over the JEs they need to account for payroll each pay period.

Fund Advisor Tab Options Default
Have the ability to have certain tabs on the Fund Advisor Portal default to "Remove/Add from/To Everyone.
We don't currently use the majority of the tabs and I have to remember to turn these tabs off when adding a fund advisor. It would be helpful to have these already default to "Remove from everyone" instead of individually edit.

Bring back the option for archived campaign to show on a profile!
I love the ability to archive campaigns and get them off the campaign list, but we would like to be able to continue to see some of the campaigns on profiles. We track programming participants through campaigns and we would like that history to remain easily visible on their profile.
17 votesThere is an option in the left side menu to list all campaigns. Selecting that will bring up a filtered list of all campaigns for that profile.

Allow Nonprofit Address to be private in directory
Please allow the address of a nonprofit to be unlisted on the directory. We have organizations who work from a home and they don't want their street address to be public. Since it pulls from their main profile, there isn't a way to hide it without hiding it from all purposes.

Archiving Reports/Writing Over Reports
It feels like it should be an option to archive reports that may need to be used in the future but not at this moment.
We have noticed since you are unable to write over reports not made by you and there isn't a permission to change that, we're saving similar reports over and over. Whereas if we could archive similar reporting, we might be able to keep the Custom Reports clean and still manage information needed in the future.

Make Linked Individuals Reportable
The new functionality for linking more than one individual to an org profile is great! But we need the ability to report on it. This is a huge help in creating mailing lists, but we can't use it if we can't report on it. Thanks!

Alert Notes on Recurring Grants
It would be helpful if an alert option was available in notes on recurring grants so when you create a grant, the note can be visible.

New Portal: ability to select which Interest Types are shown
We have some Philanthropic Interest Types that are internal only and others we would choose not to list given the option. Adding a toggle next to show/hide in the portal would be great.

Custom Field Groups to organize custom fields
I like leveraging the custom fields to customize the platform to meet our needs. However, sometimes there are a lot of custom fields on the object. I try to group them by naming the field. Example: Presentations - Audience, Presentations - Description etc on opportunities to have a section of custom fields that are related to custom fields. Rather than having to have all of these longer names, it would be helpful if we could have custom field groups to begin to organize this information. Or to even designated tabs in the custom field section so we can flip through for different information. Just increasing the flexibility to do the layout and information of custom fields and how it is displayed more than just ordering them.

Add "Are you sure you want to copy?" to all copy buttons
The copy buttons don't require any confirmation that you actually want to copy prior to the copy being completed currently. This is an issue because it is often next to "edit" or "merge" buttons, so it is fairly easy to mistakenly click from time to time. Additionally, it can be fairly easy to miss that you did copy the record since the only indication is a refresh of your screen in most cases, so this can result in duplicate records and confusion. A simple screen asking if you want to copy this record would avoid this without causing too much disruption to intentional copies.

Payment Contact Name
Could a new "payment contact name" field be added to the Organizational profile? Currently, the fields "Contact" and "Contact Title" populate the address blocks on an envelope. If we have a separate "PAY" mailing address for checks, then we need a payment contact name to correspond/match to that PAY mailing address.

Create customizable options for the Top Donor's and Top Grantees charts on the home page. Many of our donors fund their DAFs with a single contribution, like an endowment. In this situation, when the donation is past the default date, which looks like the last 12 months, the donor is welcomed to a blank and confusing screen. A sample is attached. If there was a way to change the default date that is shown in the top right corner that would be great, or simply showing all donations, would be good. A blank chart looks really bad and is confusing to our donors.
Possibly creating more options that would allow for a more customizable dashboard type of view would be good for organizations that have different focus. In our case the grants that are given are the main focus and if possible we'd prefer to have that at the top.

Advisor Household label field in grant template
It would be nice to have a field enabling the creation of a formula that checks whether the grant advisor is part of a household or not in the Grant Letter template. If yes, it will pull the household label instead of the individual advisor label field.

Portal: Option to change wording for logged in FA when open grant catalog
On the old portal, when our fund advisors go into their DAF we were able to add a tab (Partner Agency Needs List) which would lead to the grant catalog. Is it possible to have the ability to add that to the new portal?
The current option says NOTE: There are additional giving opportunities. Click here to give. It would be fantastic if we could change the wording there or add it to the left side under Donations.
2 votes1/29/2025: Portal - Grant Request: Removed the reference to "NOTE: There are additional giving opportunities. Click here to give" when an active grant catalog exists. This remains unchanged in the legacy Fund Advisor Portal.
This will allow you to embed a link in the content area to the grant catalog of your choice.

Closed Funds should appear in Red in Relationships tab
When a fund is closed, it would be nice if the fund name would appear in Red on the relationships tab so a quick look can indicate that the fund is closed, rather than having to click the fund to find out it is closed.
