Make Campaigns Compatible with Grants
UPDATE- I've found a way but it's a quite a few extra steps. Involves going to the GL transaction level detail.
I've been looking at using campaigns as a way to track multiple grant projects in the same fund. I'm successful in associating a grant received via donations and attaching vendor payments. It has the option for a very tidy income statement, which I love. The only thing needed to complete the picture is grants made by the program. At present you cannot assign a campaign to the grant or the voucher associated. This fix would basically make it as if CSuite has "classes" like QB, which, as much as I dislike QB, is a great tool for tracking individual grant programs within a fund.

Title and Org in Address Block
We have a lot of profiles that we mail for different reasons and therefore send to different address types (home vs. business). It would be useful to have a space to include the individuals title and organization name in the address block for business addresses. Right now we are de-duping and doing a lot of external clean up (in excel) to remove the title and organization name from individuals using a home address.
3 votesYou should be able to do this with current functionality. In Profiles, select Profile Type from the left side menu. Select the id of the address type that is a "work" address. Enable the "work" check box. That should add the organization name and title to the address block.

Files - Report when there is NOT a file attached (NULL)
We want to see items that do not have a file attached....specifically vouchers. We want to verify that all vouchers had documentation attached to it before discarding the paper we have. At this time, it appears a Files report only will show you items that do have a file attached but not the opposite of not having an attachment. A "null" option for files would be helpful to see those items that are missing documentation.

Abiltiy to Include Advised donation dates in First Donation Date
Currently, when I run reports for new donors using the First Donation Date the report is inaccurate because I am not able to filter and/or see their advised donation dates.
For example, if someone always gives through their DAF but gave today through CC the reports says they are new based on the First Donation Date but that is not accurate, because they have given before through other charitable vehicles.
We have enough of these instances that make a simple report take much longer to aggregate and lowers the staff's overall confidence in the acuracy of the system and its reporting.

Date and time created added to all financial reports
It would be nice to have the date and time you created a financial report to be printed on them. I may have printed two reports and needs to see which one was first.

Set Grant Letter When Creating Grant, not have to edit then set grant letter
When creating a grant, I need the option to set which grant letter I want during the creation of the grant instead of entering the information, then saving, then having to go back and edit the grant to set the grant letter. I usually end up forgetting to set the letter. My way would save a few steps in the process.

organization child
When linking a parent organization to a child organization, there is not enough information displayed to distinguish the children from one another. For example BANK (Parent Organization) has two Children, Bank and Bank, you have to click on the children to see that Bank is John Smith and the second Bank is Jane Doe. Can there be another column displayed with the "Primary Contact" name.

Less Grants Payable (dollars already committed & likely held in checking)
Less Spendable Fund Balance (remaining dollars to be spent)I tried to set this up using the "By Account" setting with the Endowment and Default Fund Balance accounts. Belatedly I discovered that the "Default" retained earnings were only included in the 4th quarter of each FY. This is explained in the online documentation Distributions/Set Up Types in the light blue section. Was it there when I set up Distribution Types 2 years ago? Maybe.
We could use the "Total Net Assets" setting to get most of what we want. That would exclude Grants Payable, but include Pledges Receivable (not a common issue) and the remaining Spendable Fund Balances. We would prefer to not allow additional distributions based on $ amounts that have already been added to the Spendable Fund Balance.

Upload auction items via spreadsheet
We would love to be able to upload out auction items via a spreadsheet instead of entering items individually. This would be a huge timesaver.

Fund Internal Description - HTML
Would love the ability to use html in the Fund Internal Description. We would like the ability to add links to our fund document library and cannot currently do it. We have the html box for external fund description, please add for internal!!

Fund Summary move to details tab
It would be beneficial for the fund summary to be on the "Details" tab instead of the "Settings" tab in funds. It isn't logical to be on the settings tab because it's not a setting but rather a detail about the purpose of the fund. Another option would be to put it at the top of the fund page so you can see it regardless of what tab you are on.

When creating Fund Statements, allow for multiple categories to be filtered
When we generate fund statements, we're now only able to filter by selecting one of 4 fund fields: Group, Subgroup, Division, and Segment. It would help if we could filter based on more than 1 of those fields at the same time.
This enhancement would allow us to simplify our fund coding and create better batches of funds statements.

Campaign Ticket Guests
Three thoughts on potential future functionality for campaign ticket guests:
1). Implement a system for matching guest names to profiles (or creating new profiles automatically, a la Stripe payments) that lines up with the existing profile DEDUPE functionality. This could tie in with/be more robust if item 2 is considered:
2). Allow customization of the fields that purchasers fill out concerning their guests (for example, adding emails, phone numbers, etc.)
3). Implement a batch functionality for converting ticket guests to profiles (right now, it must be done on a one-by-one basis)

Term Investment - remove one of two options to calculate interest
When trying to automatically calculate interest on the term investments, if I go to Term Investments – Interest Calculations – Create, it is the same as when I go to Term Investments – Calculate Interest. If it’s the same, can one option be deleted as it is confusing? I’d rather have “Calculate Interest” be deleted since “Interest Calculations" gives you prior transactions.

pledge promise
Please add the pay schedule to Pledge/Promise reports. We want to be able to see upcoming expected payments to be able to send reminders. I thought of creating a custom field so solve this issue but it doesn't seem like there's an option to create custom fields in Pledge/Promises.

opportunity letter - need option to email
When using an Opportunity Template, the only option is to print the letters, there's no option to email them. Please incorporate the option to email letters in batch (all records selected from the listing of open opportunities) for Opportunities.

Add Filters to Fund Summary Reports
When completing a fund summary report for a specific calendar year, CSuite generates the exact report I need with graphs and great overall information including fund group balances, donations and grants. However, I need to filter this report one step further for particular divisions. I am unable to add filters or edit the report in anyway. I'd appreciate this feature be added to these fund summary reports to alleviate creating multiple and tedious sperate reports.

Merge suggestion should automatically be removed when an individual is added to household
If I am linking a profile to a household, the merge suggestion in the Engagement tab should automatically be marked as reviewed or however it needs to happen on the backend so that it stops suggesting to merge the household that was just connected to the individual or vise versa.
