  1. To maintain data integrity and streamline auditing/reviewing, I propose a Fund Advisor Portal Edit Report that tracks fund advisor profile modifications in the portal. This report would summary any changes that the fund advisor makes to their profile within the portal. This would include, change of username, address, phone number, the new banking information, TIN, SSN, etc. Currently, an email is sent to say there was a change but users have to go into the log to find what was changed or updated. If created, this report will improve oversight, ensuring accurate data and easier auditing/reviewing.

  2. An option for users to select multiple fields (radio buttons/checkboxes) rather than just searching for a fund.

    So, the checkboxes could allow a user to select two different service areas and filter the funds that way.

    Anything in the works for filtering funds?

  3. Could you please modify the grant description field so that it automatically wraps text when adding or editing descriptions?

    Currently, the field allows up to 255 characters, but it's challenging to verify entries because we can't view the entire description at once. It would greatly improve usability if the description text wrapped within the field during data entry, allowing us to see the complete description without having to scroll. Once the grant is saved, we can read the entire description in one field but still have to scroll when editing.

  4. Need to create a recurring voucher that has a multi-fund. Currently, I create the lines for each fund's account but can only put in one fund. Once I create the voucher, then I can select the multiple fund. Opportunity for Functional Reporting and Efficiency: We figured out a method to do mutliple fund for functional reporting as transactions are recorded. This allows for timely reporting of by functional accounts. However, it takes more time with our recurring vouchers (75% of our transactions) to edit for the mutliple funds.

  5. Currently you cannot edit someone else's report, you have to "Save As" and delete old report. It would be nice to either have an "Edit" option, similar to "Share" or if you select "Share", it would allow them to also edit.

  6. We use the File section of the new portal to share fund agreements, stewardship materials (for those who no longer receive paper statements), and other documents with our fundholders. As the list of files grows with our engagement, this starts to be unwieldy without the ability to use the internal File Categories (and the sticky function) to organize the files for our fundholders. It would be wonderful to have this functionality in the portal, not just behind-the-scenes for staff.

  7. It would be great if you could create a task for grant reports that are due and link them to the grant report due, assigned to the individual responsible for collecting and reviewing the reports. That way there would be an easy spot to see any overdue reports and follow up with grantees without having to track in an external location.

  8. Previous Journal Entry bulk imports can be viewed/edited/deleted easily. The same should be true of custom field imports. Currently there is no way to reverse a custom field import and since these imports can change large amounts of data, there should be an option to reverse or undo the import.

  9. For Journal Entry imports, you can view previous imports and view/unpost/delete the transactions tied to those import events. The same should be true for the custom field imports. Right now, there is no way to reverse a custom field import if it is made in error. The poses a threat to the data as large amounts of data can be altered and then lost.

  10. Some donors have committed to attending an event, and we would like the ability to attach event tickets to a promise (with no finance involvement). We cannot use a pledge, as some commitments are paid in various ways and require complex financial processing to adjust and apply payments. Using a promise will enable us to reserve the tickets until payment is applied. This approach will also allow us to present the reserved seats and the remaining balance.

  11. Similar to Create Grant Requests in a bulk action from the Grants bucket, it would be nice to have a bulk create voucher requests. Currently, I have to do these one by one and it is a very slow process to have to do that for recurring vendors who are paid through the fund advisor portal.

  12. This was suggested in 2022 & archived without being implemented, but I'm re-posting because I would find it very helpful to be able to export the list of undeposited items in the till. I often need to add totals by period and currently have to manually add them. There are also times I need to sort by something other than date.

  14. When you have a tribute and want to add a Non-Profile Notify that is an organization, you should be able to add a name along with the organization name. We are not going to send a notification to an organization without a person's name attached to it. We want to be sure that it goes to the correct person. Would like the organization name to be there along with first and last name as fields that we can enter.

  15. It would be great if we could integrate a third party app/software to manage credit card receipts/AP. Some on our team struggle with turning in business credit card receipts in a timely manner and there are apps out there that allow for the user to take a photo of those receipts, which are then integrated into the accounting system.

  17. When adding an account group in the financial view, it would be helpful to be able to have a box "select all" accounts and then unselect the ones that are not needed. Otherwise, it takes a long time to select a large group of accounts.

  18. In the portal there is now the option to see household donations, which is a feature we highly requested that was implemented recently (https://idealab.foundant.com/forums/597718-communitysuite-idea-lab/suggestions/48809117-household-donations-on-donor-portal). However, if a profile does not have the donor designation, they are unable to see the donor portal when they log in as a fund advisor, thus are unable to benefit from seeing the household donations. In order to allow these profiles to see the household donations, I'd like a bulk way to set the donor designation on to profiles. This way they can have access to the portal. Otherwise, this household donation visible…

  19. I'm not sure when this field changed (recently as I pull reports regularly). The previous field for the steward on a profile was 'Steward' and the field for fund steward on a fund was 'Fund Steward'. This has recently changed to the same field name of 'Steward Employee ID'. The only way you can tell the difference is by what section the field is under, profile or fund. It would be nice to know when fields change on a report so I can ensure that my existing saved reports are pulling accurately.

  20. Sometimes you want to run a report to include multiple types of engagement strategies, but not all strategies. There is currently no way to do this in CSuite. If the Engagement Strategy variable type would be changed from Varchar to Array (Like Profile Types) we could select multiple Engagement Strategies at once.
