Merge suggestion should automatically be removed when an individual is added to household
If I am linking a profile to a household, the merge suggestion in the Engagement tab should automatically be marked as reviewed or however it needs to happen on the backend so that it stops suggesting to merge the household that was just connected to the individual or vise versa.

Term investments - edit options needed
The observation of not being able to save a backdated maturity date for a Term Investment doesn’t make sense. When modifying all the term investments to make it easier to maintain in Foundant, I didn’t have an issue with the majority that I had to backdate.
For the term investments that don’t have an edit option for the maturity date, this will not work in the future. I need to be able to always have the ability to edit the term investment if something comes up, it can’t only ever be edited once. That is just not possible/doable. I’ve found that the interest rate strategy on some doesn’t have an edit field either.
If there is a way to make the description field and custom fields bulk editable in the future, please do so.
For the term investments that have their interest paid out, the next distribution date has passed so how can the system get caught up?

Used to be a RE NXT user, and one of the best features was Workflow Designer. You could create processes — known as workflows — as an automated series of steps in the form of actions, emails, or conditions. You can assign actions to someone in your organization to complete, then add conditions to have the workflow move to the next action.
You could add emails to your workflow and set conditions to automatically send those emails to your constituents. chat box
Can you please have the chat box stay up on the screen instead of disappearing each time you have to move to a different tab, it's very annoying to have to restart the chat each time.

board portal
Create a Board portal. A place to put documents, ByLaws, minutes, agendas, governance documents etc. Board would login here to retrieve documents for meetings instead of email and re-emailing with changes.

Multi-platform integrations via Zapier, Make, MuleSoft, or similar middleware
One of the most limiting things about using Foundant is the lack of connectivity to other platforms that we all use. Even in cases where there is some integration (like with MailChimp) that integration is extremely limited.
I found those ideas all via one quick search in the Idea Lab for the word "integrate." I bet there are many other requests that could also be solved this way.

Instead, I suggest that Foundant focus on developing a connector to one middleware platform like Zapier, Make, or MuleSoft. CSuite could connect to one of these platforms, then users could create integrations between CSuite and many other.
I did a quick search in the Idea Lab and found a number of suggestions that could all be solved by a middleware integration. Here are some examples:

Please allow description field to be pulled into transfer letter template
We just sent our first bulk batch of transfer requests using the functionality in CSuite and were so excited! Previously, this was so tedious and having this "new" option was so optimistic!
Could we please have the ability to pull the transfer "description" into the transfer letter? We request both grants and fees and have one template for this, however, there is no way for the advisor to know what we are requesting whether it be a grant reimbursement or admin fees without this description line pulling.
Hopefully, since it's an existing field in the system, it would be an easy fix!

grant advisor
On grants related to the Grant Advisor field, the field prepopulates with an individual who has the Fund Advisor designation. It would be helpful for the field:
to default to blank or a Fund Founder instead and

new profile
Hello, the new profiles are great! would it be possible for the tabs to indicate if there is information on the tab? For instance by color or bold lettering. Then you would not have to open every to know if there was data. This would be so helpful.

percentage of gift to spendable
It would be nice to have the ability to apply a percentage or dollar amount of a donation to the spendable and the remainder to the endowed portion. We have some funds that have been setup this way but currently the donation has to be entered as two separate donations in order to achieve the split.

Visual Presentations Using Charts (with GL data)
In the old saying, "a picture says a thousand words", could pie and/or bar charts be available in the following areas:
Balance sheet - Cash and Investments, by GL account number, be shown in a pie chart.
Statement of Activity - Investment income items, interest income, dividend income, realized gains (losses), unrealized gains (losses) be shown by month in bar chart
Statement of Activity - Donations/Gifts, Grants actual compared to budget be shown in a bar chart.

Fund Drop Down Color
CSS suggestion - could the color coding of the Fund drop down box be different than the content? If you make it anything other than white or a light color, the fund drop down box gets lost.

voucher refund to credit card
We enter vouchers for all credit card purchases. However, the new voucher refund does not allow you to "deposit" the refund to the credit card account; only bank accounts are listed. Instead, I have to enter a negative voucher and apply it to the credit card. Would be great to have the credit card account listed as one of the accounts to deposit the refund.

Add # of Gifts field to Profile reports
You recently added "First Gift Date" and "Last Gift Date" as fields you can see on a profile report. It would be nice if you also added a "# of Gifts" field.

Opportunities & Task reporting Shared assignments
I would like to add the capability to include the employee named that a task is shared with when an opportunity task is created so that both team members can share accountability for the outcome. We use this information in our development meetings and have a custom report created. It would be great to add this to our report to help with assignments.

Edit campaign after tickets created
We would like to be able to edit a campaign after tickets are created. Currently, we cannot edit any information on the "Details" tab once tickets are created. Sometimes, we need to make slight changes to descriptions or event names and cannot do this once tickets have been added to the event.

Fund Fee transaction export
After posting fund fees, please allow for an export of the transaction detail. Currently once can only copy the detail and paste into excel in order to then be able to sort and analyze the data for volume of income from different fund types - an important part of my analysis, as I want to see how much partially-endowed funds are providing in comparison to fully endowed & non-endowed funds, as it's the most popular segment but the most active & unpredictable in terms of contributions and granting. Have an export will help immensely.

Viewing all notes for a Household profile and any members
It would be great if we had the option to view all notes for a household and any member profiles in one location. We can make a custom report for this but it involves using a filter. It would be easier for all users if there was an option to view all notes while on the Household profile.
