  1. When you click into Organizations, you can perform a basic "duplicate search" and easily merge duplicates. I would love to see this same option for contacts.

  3. Right now, tables have a limit of 5 columns. It would be nice to increase this limit. I use a spreadsheet for budget submission and finance reports (follow-ups). I would like the applicant to directly input their itemized budget in their application, share that budget in the follow-ups, and add columns for them to report actual line-item expenses. Right now, my itemized budget worksheet has 8 columns and my financial report has 13 columns. Also, once they have submitted their budget, I would like to lock those columns in that they've inputted data and only give them access to report…

  4. We would love to be able to add dates to comments, not just have it be the date we are adding the comment. That way we might be able to sort comments.
    Not to mention copy and pasting emails with information in it.

  5. We often have dozens — if not hundreds — of LOIs, approvals, applications, and follow-ups on our dashboard at once. It would be wonderful to have a visual indicator any time a new LOI, application, or follow-up is submitted. For example, let's say I log in at 9am and my dashboard indicates 133 follow-ups in the "Submitted" bucket. I come back to my desk at 10am, refresh the dashboard, and there are now 135 follows-ups in the submitted bucket. "135" now glows with a different color and a "+2" alert. Once I click into my Submitted follow-ups, that alert resets…

  8. Would it be possible to add a drop down for students wheen filling out personal information. ie Mr., Ms. and that when a student types street or St. it would auto change to Street? this would save us so much time in making corrections.

We use branching questions in our grant application that are set to internal so we can branch an applicant to the application we want them to complete and not have multiple processes in our site. I just realized that when an applicant clicks on the "Question List" button in their site, this shows them ALL of the questions in our application, regardless of how the application should be branched. The fact that applicants can see the entire question list for an application seems to negate the purpose of branching. This is very confusing for applicants because they do not know…

    Hello,

    You are correct in that all branch groups are displayed in the question list; we follow this as best practice for projects like project streamlining so that applicants don't become surprised by the amount of time the application will take them. We also encourage as a best practice that you add instructions to the branch groups for that visibility and communication explain when they will see that group.


    However, Internal Questions should not be displayed to applicants. Please report this to our support team so that we can review it.

  10. For SLM Universal Application follow ups it would be great to be able to reorganize the list, in alpha order for example. Right now it is in the order of when the follow ups were created.

  13. I inadvertently Closed our scholarship recipients when I went through the old applications in order to update contact info. They have to be kept in approved to pull up by group; Closed applications can only be accessed one by one. The Close Request button is on the bottom right where it's common to find a button to leave a form/web page or an X on the upper right. Foundant has neither for users. When evaluators are assigned applications as a batch action, it would be really helpful if an automatic email could go out to each evaluator letting them know they have been assigned applications for a particular process (one email per process, not per application). Currently, the only way evaluators can receive an automatic email is if each application is assigned one by one. That's time-consuming for the person assigning the evaluators, and that would generate a lot of individual emails to each evaluator. Having automatic emails go out to evaluators after batch assignments are made would eliminate the current two-step process…

  15. We have about 60 scholarships, 200 applicants (1,100 applications), and 32 reviewers every year. When I assign applications for review, I want every student to be assigned to 2 reviewers. And I want all reviewers to have roughly the same number of applicants/students (not applications since we use Universal App). So I sort the applications by applicant name, and then manually click all applications for students x, y, z, and then batch assign to 2 reviewers.   16. We have had instances where we are reaching out to 3rd party requests (specifically with LOR) and they refuse to submit a letter on the student's behalf. Would it be possible or beneficial for there to be a decline option in the automated email so the student can find someone else? And yes, we do include strong language to encourage students to talk with teachers/counselors they would like to have submit a letter of recommendation on their behalf.

  17. We use the Administrator Comments feature to provide draft review feedback to our applicants. Many applicants use the comments, then want us to remove them so that they can create a clean PDF of their completed application. We don't want to delete our comments as that is part of the grant process record, but we also don't want reviewers to be able to see the comments. Right now, our only option is to make all the comments not visible to applicants, proxy as the applicant, download the PDF, then make all the comments visible to the applicant again. This is…

  18. Asking an applicant to compose an email to their anonymous third party is an extra step that overcomplicates things. The applicant has to deal with opening up an email interface, copy-pasting a pre-written message, etc. And for what? It's redundant to send the third party an email explaining that they'll be getting another email.

    It should work like references on a resume. Provide us with the third party's email address, and we'll contact them ourselves. Simple as.

  19. Please provide a Submit button for Administrators when they are Copying Requests into an Internal Process. Do not make us have to select the option while copying that the Initial Submit Status has to be Submitted. I would like to create a Draft and go in and edit away in fields and then Submit the request when I feel it is ready, it is an Internal process anyway, and I am an Administrator.
