  1. We delay our grantees' ability to see the decision on their application by 14 days. This was set up for us by Foundant. We upload their approval/denial letters into their request documents at the time of the decision, but do not want the grantees to see the letters until after the 14 day period when both the decision and the letter should become simultaneously visible to them.   2. Hello! The ability to add telephone number extensions is great, but it assumes all extensions are three digits. Perhaps you could make this more flexible to accommodate all extension lengths.

  3. (Suggested by fellow grants staff Trudy Wild)

    Currently there is an attractive summary of all panelist scores and comments (Dashboard / Application Evaluation Open / Summary) - but only staff can access this (Our evaluations are anonymous and un-shared). This is available per application, with questions down the left hand side and staff evaluator names across the top.

    We'd like for a single staff evaluator to be able to view his own summary. This should encompass all applications in one view - with questions down the left hand side and applicant organization names across the top.

  4. Hi Chris,

    We're enjoying the comment field enhancement within the application - great update! In fact, we're enjoying it so much, we're wondering if there's any talk of having this enhancement extended to the evaluators as well? We'd love it if our evaluators could make comments within the application while they're doing their review work. This would serve as a useful tool when we're on our committee conference calls and during site visits.

  5. I would like the board members to have read only access to reports. Standard reports and saved reports would be great. At this time board members are also administrators and the chance for them to accidentally blow something up is too risky.

  6. It would be great if... there was an alert for applicants notifying them that they have an active grant. With a few exceptions, we do not allow organizations to have more than one active grant (per program) at a time. Recently, I had a couple applicants submit applications who already had active grants. I did not know they had active grants until I looked at each organization's history. It would be great if the active grant was highlighted on their dashboard or they received an alert when applying for a grant notifying them that they had an active grant. This…

  9. I would like all grants to go through each status without skipping one. Please add a submit button and a complete button to the internal process applications. This will allow us to choose where we would like the application to move on the dashboard.

  10. When searching for an organization in a certain city or state, after you click on the first one you want to look at, it takes you all the way back to the main organization screen and you have to put in the city and state again. It doesn't allow you to just look at the original search list.

One of our evaluators brought to my attention that when she is completing evaluations – that the response to questions set up as text boxes are being cut off and it does not give her the ability to scroll. This seems to create a less than optimal experience for her and others. I realize to avoid this – I could create all questions as Text Area questions, but would prefer not to have to do this.

  12. Currently we request financial audits at the application and report stage in a grant cycle. This often means the same audit lives in two places.

    I would be great if users could upload files (audits, in this case) to the Organization Documents tab to keep everything in one place.

  16. It would be helpful when adding a comment in the Application or Follow-up forms that the comment stands out. For example, allow us to make the comment bubble red or yellow, or change the font color/size or make it bold. Anything to make it stand out from the rest of the Application or Follow-Up form would be extremely useful. I recently had to mark a follow-up form as incomplete, and I added comments to the questions that I needed clarification on and even after sending multiple emails (through Foundant) to the applicant to please see the comments to help her…

  17. I have struggled sometimes to find an org or project because I do not type it in exactly as it was done at the outset. Is it possible to have more of a search function that operates like Google to find ones that are closely related?

  18. We use tables to collect budget information, one table for revenue and one table for expenses. We'd love to be able to calculate the net revenue taking the total from revenue less total expenses.

  19. Red flagging organizations or individuals if they have not completed a follow up report. Saw an idea about stopping an application if the organization has not completed a follow up. I would like an established set of questions (or ability to establish a system set for our org) within the SLM to choose from when building applications so that they can more easily become shared questions (meaning that information can prepopulate in other forms once established on a foundational form like a scholarship application).
