  1. I would like to request that Foundant implement a change log for the eligibility criteria for the opportunities within a Universe. There is currently no way for us as users or you as the host to track changes made. If there is a mistake or issue, we need to be able to know what was done, when, and by whom.

I would like an established set of questions (or ability to establish a system set for our org) within the SLM to choose from when building applications so that they can more easily become shared questions (meaning that information can prepopulate in other forms once established on a foundational form like a scholarship application).   4. Add a Search Bar on request history page, within an organization summary.

    It would really help if we could search requests by process in the organization 's grant history. We can alphabetize them today, but using a search would help us.

  5. We would love if in the comment section you can add a date, not just have it default to the date it was added. We might go in once a week and add all the emails and comments, but it will only put in the date we enter it. AND if we edit it, it gives a new date, not the one it was created on.

    Wouldn't hurt if we could attach a document to a comment :)

  8. Please put a delay on the first year follow ups and other required documentation, otherwise, the grantee receives a follow up before a paper letter with terms or a check has arrived. This causes a lot of confusion for the grantee who assumes that both of those have arrived and panic in locating them. It also generates a lot of phone calls and emails regarding these. A month delay would help considerably.

  10. Resurrecting a request from another user that was archived.

    We would like our applicants to be able to upload relevant documentation to their accounts and also processes, such as invoices, voided checks, to ensure that their successors have all information on any awards that they may need in the future.

    Original request submission:
    We keep insurance certificates and audits on file for our applicants (who submit multiple applications per year). We don't want them to have to upload these key documents over and over again to every single application or followup that they submit.

We use branching questions in our grant application that are set to internal so we can branch an applicant to the application we want them to complete and not have multiple processes in our site. I just realized that when an applicant clicks on the "Question List" button in their site, this shows them ALL of the questions in our application, regardless of how the application should be branched. The fact that applicants can see the entire question list for an application seems to negate the purpose of branching. This is very confusing for applicants because they do not know…

    Hello,

    You are correct in that all branch groups are displayed in the question list; we follow this as best practice for projects like project streamlining so that applicants don't become surprised by the amount of time the application will take them. We also encourage as a best practice that you add instructions to the branch groups for that visibility and communication explain when they will see that group.

    However, Internal Questions should not be displayed to applicants. Please report this to our support team so that we can review it.

  12. Here is a common scenario. An org is fiscally sponsored by a church and then gets their own 501c3 status and changes their name. In foundant, we would update the org name to say (formerly XYZ Church). When evaluators see the church name - they often ask whether services are limited to members of that church even when the org has nothing to do with the church (e.g., a food bank).   14. It would be great to have quick access to recently searched or recently modified/accessed requests or organizations. I find myself in and out of a lot of requests in one day and it would be nice to have quicker access to recent ones without having to re-search each time.   16. Allow us to pull a list of the "grant manager" assignments for all assigned requests by adding a data field under "Processes" and "Requests" in report data sets.

    I'd like to be able to pull a report of which staff member is assigned to each request. Currently, I have to proxy as each staff member to pull each list individually.

  19. If returning applicants use the copy feature, unfortunately, the system also copies their previously received third party letters of recommendation. In other words, letters of recommendation from the prior grant cycle are copied to the new application.

    Please allow us to turn off copying for third party questions.
