Collapse blank table rows in packet PDFs
Currently, when I create a table that may have an unknown number of rows used (such as asking applicants to list the date, time, location of grant-funded events), I just have to guess at what might be the right number of rows to add. If an applicant only uses one row of 10 available, the application packet will still print all 10 rows and use up a lot of space. Can blank rows be collapsed in the application packet?
(Even better would be to allow applicants to add rows if needed, but I suspect that's more complicated.)

Include Applicant/User Registration information as a shared question
It would be helpful for grant agreements to be able to have the organization and user registration information available to populate the agreement form. Otherwise they need to be entered again to have a stand-alone document.

Formula Fields Breaking Date Recognition in Reporting
Hi Idea Lab! I'm having an ongoing issue when it comes to creating reports that have a date field that has been modified with a formula. E.G., I have grants that have an "Award Period End Date" and a "Amended Award Period End Date" for those that have been extended. In reporting, I can configure it so that I see one column that displays the original end date is if it has not been modified, or an amended end date is if it has been modified. However, even though I specify the output as a date field, the reporting feature…

Document viewer hyperlinks
Hyperlinks are not clickable in the document viewer. Which means I would need to download the file to access links (defeating the purpose of the document viewer). Being able to click to links right from the document viewer would help streamline our work.

UA- Assign evaluations for a reviewer across different processes
UA- Assign evaluations for a reviewer across different processes. We have randomized reviews for our UA applicants (usually 500 applicants) and 70+ reviewers. It is so time consuming to assign each evaluator to their 20 applicants (which can be 200+ unique processes for each evaluator).
This is similar to another idea, but I want to make sure it inlcdes UA too.

Ability turn off automatic e-mails for individual requests
We often have to turn off automatic e-mails for short period of times when we work on individual requests and do not want the applicant to receive a notification.
Sometimes, we forget to turn the automatic e-mail back on in the tool manager and it creates confusion.
It would be great to be able to toggle off (an on) automatic e-mails for an individual request, directly in the request.

metrics dashboard - permissions
It would be great if administrators could permit other users (eg board members) access to the metrics dashboard. It is a great summary of the foundation giving and would be helpful for others to view
4 votesWould you give them access to all of the metrics? Do they need any filtering or can they have the same view as you?

Give the choice to cc secondary contact in emails
In sending out emails to applicants, in most cases they are already going to the primary contact (grant writer, Dev Director, program mgr. etc.) And the ED or CEO is almost always the secondary contact. It seems silly for the drop-down option to be "cc primary contact"...when it should include the option of "cc secondary contact". We just completed our entire first GLM process, and have only now realized that we've not been cc'ing the ED of most organizations!! This puts the onus on the primary to share. And yes, I guess we should have been adding a cc to…

Bring back the ability to "pop out" the support chat window.
Please bring back the ability to pop out the chat window from the webpage. The revision to the chat prohibits the ability to detach the chat window from the webpage and move it across the screen so its viewable while working in GLM. It now disappears when continuing to work or look at forms to answer support staff questions.

Hi. I think a good idea would be to add another automated email option after the evaluator does his/her evaluation. It would be nice for the administrator (me) to get notified that the evaluator has finished the evaluation. Thank you.

Search Organization by Sort Name
I don't know if there is another way to do this, but the last time this suggestion was posed, only one person voted and it got Archived. :(
What I want to see, is; if an Organization has a name change, that we can still find the organization by the old name. We update the Org. name ourselves (it is in lock down from Applicants/Contacts) and we add into the Sort Name with the new name and then (Formely: Old Org Name). My imagination tells me that we use to be able to search by Sort Name as well, but…

email
With the new view, email history is very difficult to find. It would be great if there were a tab on the left or in one of the blocks in the new view that would bring users quickly to the email history. Right now, it is not visible, and there are many clicks to get to the email. It is not very intuitive as set up now.

control number
It would be helpful for me if the system could assign a control number as applications are submitted. Often I use the reports for blind reviews and while I can hide the applicant information it would be best to have a reference number or control number to use instead of identifying the application by title as that is often a cumbersome way to identify/cross reference an entry.

Change "Date" to "Decision Date" in Organization History
This is just a minor UI/UX suggestion. I recently had a grantee miss a deadline because they thought the dates shown on past requests in the Organization History indicated the date the requests were submitted, not the date they were approved. Granted, there are plenty of other ways to check deadlines, but I imagine if it's happened once, it's probably happened other times as well. All this would take is changing the Date column to read Decision Date.

eligibility quiz
It would be great if an eligibility quiz could be used to filter applicants for specific grant opportunities. So, depending on how they answer the questions in the quiz, it would then show different application opportunities. For example, if the applicant belongs to a small organization that is not scalable and has a limited budget, then after completing the quiz, an application specifically designed for this type of organization would be available to them.

Data Vis - Binning
Is it possible to have Autobinning turned off as a default for a site? Rarely would I want to combine IDs in sequential order.
Ex:
Binning will display my funds 1001-1010 rather than each being separated.3 votes -

When using the LOI process, there are buttons that say "Save LOI" and "LOI Complete." We use the LOI process for other things than just an LOI, including sponsorship requests. It's confusing to have these buttons when the request isn't an LOI. Would be wonderful if we can customize the language in those buttons. If not, changing those buttons to something more generic like "Save Request" and "Request Complete" would help them be relevant to most scenarios.

applied button
The "applied (with check mark)" is confusing our grantees. Grantees can make multiple applications to the same process. They have no idea that "Applied" means they have the correct application submitted. Can you change "Applied" to "Apply". The following page warns them of duplicates anyway. Why confuse things.

Indicate Canceled Grants
There needs to be a straightforward way to indicate and run a report of canceled grants. A canceled installments report is not viable because it’s not uncommon for us to have grants that are awarded and then canceled or withdrawn before any payout occurs or for a payment to be canceled without the grant being canceled.
