  1. It would be helpful for me if the system could assign a control number as applications are submitted. Often I use the reports for blind reviews and while I can hide the applicant information it would be best to have a reference number or control number to use instead of identifying the application by title as that is often a cumbersome way to identify/cross reference an entry.

  2. Consider adding the default (earnings) balance to the face of the fund record, at the top with the rest of the balances. Working in Finance, I have gotten questions about why the fund balance is different from the principal and other similar inquiries. The data exists and the account exists, so it should be easily implemented.

  3. Running reports is too complicating. It would be great to have an easier user interface for running reports / saving reports / even automatically emailing reports on a pre-set frequency.

    Have a standard batch of already created reports for the most commonly run reports where you can easily adjust a few parameters/filters like process, date range, funding category, etc..

    But also keep the ability to customize a report if a standard report does not give you the information you require.

  4. Currently, when viewing listings in the Nonprofit Directory by category, there is a large blank space on the left hand side of each listing where it appears the uploaded logo of the organization should go (see attached image).

    I have been told by Foundant that this is not a bug, so they will not fix it as such. Visually, it is very out of place and looks clearly designed for the organization logo especially given that this space is occupied by logos for fund listings.

  5. We would like the ability to add integrated custom fields from CSuite into Universe Forms.

    We capture data such as DOB on our application and would like that to integrate to a students CSUITE profile, instead of having to run a bulk update.

  6. It would be helpful to have an "alternative organization name" field that would automatically be searched when searching for an organization by name. This would be usefull when an organization has had a name change or has multiple names. Thanks!

  8. I would like to be able to add and remove buckets from the Open Requests section of the administrator dashboard. I have two different application processes, and I would like to quickly and easily see statuses for both of them on the dashboard, instead of having to click into application statuses, apply a filter to view one process, and then change the filter to view the other process.

  9. This is just a minor UI/UX suggestion. I recently had a grantee miss a deadline because they thought the dates shown on past requests in the Organization History indicated the date the requests were submitted, not the date they were approved. Granted, there are plenty of other ways to check deadlines, but I imagine if it's happened once, it's probably happened other times as well. All this would take is changing the Date column to read Decision Date.

  10. When assigning follow up forms, add a warning that comes up if the person assigned is a collaborator, as they will not be able to edit the form. As it stands, the organization gets the assignment and can see the form but does not know why they cannot edit.

  12. For GLM under website settings, "Warn Applicant of an Existing Request," if this could be for applications submitted by organization. For example, a user from an organization submitted an application but then another user tries to apply for the same grant opportunity. The user trying to submit the 2nd application would be notified that an application was already submitted. There may be instances when there are multiple programs within one organization are applying for a grant, if that's the case, allow multiple programs to be identified under one umbrella organization.

  13. (submitting on behalf of a user)

    In the new organization summary view, users can view the cards for an org's users. On these cards, in addition to name, title, email, and phone number, there is a field for comments about that user. Currently, if there are no comments, it says "none" here. Feedback from a user would prefer this to be blank to indicate an absence of data, rather than showing "none" which implies an intentional lack of comment.

  15. The new, current checkbox was recently released as part of the Giving Hub updates. We would like to duplicate the checkbox into the Grant Portal, under Grant Requests, so that fundholders have to check a box to acknowledge Miami Foundation-specific terms.

  16. Export ALL GuideStar Charity Check Information

    There is an archived idea with this same title that shows as "Implemented", but that's not actually accurate. Currently, the only Charity Check fields available in the reporting tool are:

    Charity Check Verification Date
    Charity Check Tax Id
    Charity Check Publication 78 Date
    Charity Check IRB Date
    Charity Check BMF Date
    Charity Check Deductibility Code(s)
    Charity Check Non-private Status

    This leaves out a whole host of other fields that display in the Charity Check tabs. At the very least I would like to have access to the Charity Check organization name so I can…

  18. When third parties are assigned letters of recommendations for scholarship applications, sometimes they are not able to upload the letter themselves. Instead, a member of the scholarship administration team will upload the letter (which was emailed to us) on their behalf. Even when we upload the letter for them, it is still marked as incomplete from the applicants view of the application. It would be helpful if it was marked as complete if the letter was uploaded, whether or not it was uploaded by a third party.

  19. It would be great if we could assign follow up reports to multiple users within an organization and they could sync. In our program, we typically have multiple people involved in the grant award and currently, we only have the ability to assign a follow up to one person, meaning that if another is to fill out and submit the report, I need to manually change who it is assigned to.   20. Feature Suggestion: Task Set Automation with Relative Due Dates

    I'd like to suggest a feature that would allow users to assign a predefined set of tasks to a donor with a single click. These tasks would have relative due dates based on the date the task set is assigned. For example:

    Task: Send thank-you letter
    Due: 1 month from task assignment
    Task: Share copy of signed fund agreement
    Due: Immediately or within 1 week
    Task: First reporting update
    Due: 6 months from fund establishment
