Quit proxying - stay on the application page
When you quit proxying as an applicant, the system throws you out of the application in which you were working back to the dashboard. You have to then hit Search-Organization-type in the name-search/click for the request in which you were just working-and again for the part of the application. This is an onerous process when you have to upload a report for a less than techy applicant. Couldn't the system be constructed so that the admin returns to the application on which he/she was working?

Universal Application Column Filters
It would be very helpful to add an additional one or two column filters to the process, applicant, project name and eval 1 & 2 headings. I have Graduating High School and Applicant ID currently set. I would like to add Student Status and graduating year so I can see at a glance what I need for the applicant. I have to go into the application to get the info I need which can be time consuming.

Restrict Inactive Applicants From Receiving Emails
I'd like to propose the idea of restricting applicants who have been set as inactive to no longer be included on emails. Ideally, those who are set to inactive should not continue to receive emails through Foundnat. For example, when I send an email to a user and I cc' the primary organizational contact (who happens to be inactive) he/she is included on the email chain. My temporary fix is to edit the inactive profile and then make a dummy email address and select a new applicant as the primary organizational contact.

Submit New Idea
It would be good for users to be able to edit/change the button text description in the grant request portal for fundadvisors. Our donors have found it confusing after entering their grant request to land on the page with the button "REVIEW GRANT REQUESTS" that needs to be clicked in order to land on the next page to then "SUBMIT GRANT". Possible change text from Review to Submit. The button on the next landing page can read "Confirm or Process Grant Requests

GLM New Process Creation Default to NO ASSIGNED USERS
Is there a way to change the default for all new processes created to not have ANY users assigned to the process?
Currently, the default is that ALL users are selected. It’s one of those things if we don’t catch when creating new processes, grant managers for other processes get confused as they see applications they should not.
I did get a reply from Tessa Williamson at Foundant that stated:
I do want to thank you for your previous IdeaLab post in 2021 to gain some traction on a functionality similar to this. Though the team has implemented when grant…1 vote -
Custom columns for evaluators when assigning to process
Can custom columns be added to the "select user" popup box when assigning evaluators to a process? Helpful column options would be email address and organization name. Sometimes there are evaluators with the same name, or with duplicate accounts from changing organizations and making a new account at their new organization without informing me as the administrator, which makes it difficult to see if I'm assigning evaluations to the correct account.

Program Officer Assigned Follow Up
When a Follow Up is submitted by a grantee, we would love for that Follow Up to show in the dashboard of the Program Officer who worked with that organization during the application stage so they can easily tell they have a report to review and approve. We have the Program Officer assigned at the LOI/Application/Evaluation stage, but then we aren't able to maintain that assignment through Follow Ups.
Currently, I, as the administrator, get an email when a follow up has been submitted, and then because there's no way to bring in the assigned Program Officer on the email…

Third party email bounce notifications
Someone else suggested, but the idea was archived, so want to reiterate that we also would strongly appreciate a notice being sent to applicants if a third party email address bounces. We were again spending a lot of staff hours identifying bounced third party emails one by one, and notifying applicants. Unfortunately, this made for a very tight turnaround in some cases.

UA Opportunity Eligibility Change Log
I would like to request that Foundant implement a change log for the eligibility criteria for the opportunities within a Universe. There is currently no way for us as users or you as the host to track changes made. If there is a mistake or issue, we need to be able to know what was done, when, and by whom.

Grant Request Button OPTIONAL
Please make the Grant Request button that appears on Grants AND Scholarships on the new Giving Hub OPTIONAL. The button is not needed for scholarships as they have an application process already (in most cases).

evaluation
It would be great if the evaluators could add a live link in the evaluation comments section to highlight, for example, a link from the organization.

custom fields email
It would be useful to have the inability to use custom merge fields in an email template.
Some background on our proposed use this feature and the need it addresses:
Our foundation was attempting to create an email template which can serve as a digital copy of the scholarship award letter we send to recipients. However, we are unable to create a "master" email template that would serve across all opportunities because there is no way to pull in a description of the scholarship each recipient has won.
It would be nice to be able to utilize custom fields from…

Automatic Email to admin for late Follow-up Forms
Admins should have the feature to receive an automatic email when a grantee misses their follow-up deadline. This would help admins with follow-ups assigned at different times to keep track of grantees who don't turn in their reports on time.

Historical AP Aging
This has been posted before and marked implemented, yet it wasn't actually implemented. Community Suite has an AP Aging report when you select Accounts Payable. Looks great, is exactly what one expects when running an aging report. But if you select Historical Aging, then the output is completely different. The report is sorted by fund, and has absolutely no aging aspect to it at all. It also throws out a bunch of weird items that don't show up on a normal aging, described as "unknown". Please, create a historical aging that functions the same way that the current aging does.…

Reporting
Currently when creating a filtered report (finanicals / account activity as an example). I am creating certain expense reports for different managers and am only showing them their specific expense accounts. All of the filtered accounts show at the top of the report when viewing or exporting and makes the report look unfinished. Can a function be added to hide filters or column group options so when looking at and exporting the report it looks more like a finished report?

Metrics Dashboard - Denied Requests
Thanks again for implementing the metrics dashboard! Seems like it covers all key areas except for a better breakout for denied requests so wanted to suggest adding 2 graphs (maybe for past 6 months and another for past 12) for those that can be drilled into to see more data.

Batch Printing from Your Follow Ups
I just voted on Evaluator batch print function that someone else posted and would also like to suggest a Batch print function for "Your Follow Ups". With a lot of our grants, staff leads assign internal follow ups to their selves to complete verbal reporting with our partners so being able to download/print those batch lists would be really useful vs. viewing/scrolling down a lengthy page.

I think users/members of an organization should be able to make other users in their organization inactive rather than admin having to do it on the backend.
It appears that a lot of users were ported over from our last system which makes it so the user profiles for many organizations that we work with are outdated. We as admin don't know who's current in their organizations and who is inactive. They know. Additionally, board members and board presidents change roles frequently. It would be helpful if organizations could manage that themselves as opposed to admin having to do that.
