  2. It would be helpful for SLM to include a spelling/grammar check tool within the scholarship applications for students to use when writing their essays or short answer responses. I know that some internet browsers have a spell check included, but it might be helpful from the student side to have a more comprehensive tool to help with spelling, grammar, etc. as they write their responses.

  3. Every other form builder application allows you to add an "Other: _____" text box at the end of Checkbox questions. It's a simple way to catch exceptions that you're not thinking of.

  4. Bumping this back to the top of the list - please strongly consider only allowing one application per process to be started at a time within a process cycle.
    When we have multiple processes running (for us it just increased again this year, in the 30s) and 550+ active applications, we need a better way to keep the numbers accurate and moving things through the process clean and as efficient as we can. Please limit them to one application start within a process and change the apply button within the tiles that match to them to "Continue" if they've started…

  5. I would love an option to batch generate AI Summaries from the dashboard. I have 65 grants right now for my spring grant cycle, and rather than individually clicking into every form to generate a summary, it would save me a lot of time in my workflow to batch generate and then go in and copy over!

  6. Block new application from applicant who hasn't completed a grant report on a previous grant award. This would encourage applicants to complete their grant report and provide another level of due diligence built into GLM

  7. Currently, when viewing listings in the Nonprofit Directory by category, there is a large blank space on the left hand side of each listing where it appears the uploaded logo of the organization should go (see attached image).

    I have been told by Foundant that this is not a bug, so they will not fix it as such. Visually, it is very out of place and looks clearly designed for the organization logo especially given that this space is occupied by logos for fund listings.

  8. It would be great if we could have 'other' as an option for a radio question that gives you (the builder) the choice to automatically produce a text box for applicants to input data around their selection. Currently you have to build 'other' into the question and then build a branched question group, which can not only get messy, but can make the application flow feel very disjointed, depending on the build.

  9. I was wondering if anyone would find value in the ability to weight evaluation questions. We are exploring the idea of funding general operating requests and project-based requests, all from one process. If we were able to weight questions or make some scoring questions optional, this would prevent and help us with our evaluation of LOIs and Applications.

  10. Please add the custom content back to the new and improved applicant dashboard. On the old dashboard, we included instructions on filling out the application, contact information for our Foundation, and links to trainings. This is not currently possible with the updated version of the applicant dashboard.

  11. It would be helpful to have the applicant's name appear on the third-party response form. Currently, it shows the applicant's name on the dashboard, but when the third party clicks on Start to submit the information it only shows the "process" or "award" name. Having the student's name appear at the top of the form would help responders keep track of the student they are working on.

    Some of our third parties complete a LOT of responses and I've heard from many of them that this would be really helpful.

  12. Running reports is too complicating. It would be great to have an easier user interface for running reports / saving reports / even automatically emailing reports on a pre-set frequency.

    Have a standard batch of already created reports for the most commonly run reports where you can easily adjust a few parameters/filters like process, date range, funding category, etc..

    But also keep the ability to customize a report if a standard report does not give you the information you require.

  13. We accidentally approved an application and needed to deny it within the system after approving it. When it was approved, there were follow up emails assigned to the applicant, such as reminding them 14 days later if they hadn't completed their follow up form.

    When I changed it to deny, the follow up form did not get unassigned automatically, meaning the emails are still being sent to the applicant despite her being denied. However, since it is now denied, there is no option to unassign the follow up forms.

  15. Abandon Follow Ups

    It would be helpful to have the option to Abandon a Follow Up form. Right now, that is not an option and the only way to remove the Follow Up from the dashboard is to Delete it.

    Our foundation assigned a Follow Up form for a survey after our giving day. The survey Follow Up is not required, so we are not chasing down nonprofits to complete the survey once we got past the due date.   17. Please allow a date to auto format when entering without dashes. For example, entering 080225 will automatically change to 08/02/2025. This happens in CSuite but not in GLM.

  18. My organization recently implemented Multi Factor Authentication for logging into GLM. Unfortunately, the only option available is to download an authentication app to verify logins. It would be helpful to have other options, such as receiving a code via text message or email, in addition to the authentication app for verification.

  20. Given the way technology has grown over the years, is there a way to integrate Outlook email with Foundant email so that when an email is received, it will automatically show up in Outlook, and when we respond to an email, it will show up in the appropriate applicant file in Foundant?
