  1. When an evaluator uses the Process filter on the dashboard, completes and saves an evaluation form, then clicks the Next Pending Evaluation button, the next one may not be from that filtered Process. Please make it so the Process filter pulls through to when the evaluation forms are advance to the next request.

    Also, it would be much better for evaluators if the sort by organization on the dashboard would pull through to when they go into evaluation forms so Next Pending Evaluation button takes them to the next request that is alphabetical by organization name.

  2. API to integrate a UEI verification function: https://open.gsa.gov/api/entity-api/ [open.gsa.gov]

    This would allow organizations that require a SAM-UEI to verify the number submitted.

  3. Please could we add an 'archive' button or feature to the reporting section so reports or data sets can be hidden from the main page but not deleted? Right now the options are to have a cluttered reports page, or delete entirely.

  4. I've seen a couple of posts about this already, but not sure that it was articulated in this way. It's scholarship season and students are stressed out trying to submit their applications and get teachers to complete their letters of recommendation. I was really surprised to learn there currently isn't any formal notification that gets sent when a teacher completes their 3rd party letter of recommendation in SLM. Teachers would benefit knowing their work was properly received. Students want to know they don't have to worry about this or nag their teacher to do this, and admins want to know…

  5. A Chat feature to be able to help students in the moment could be very helpful.

    Student behavior - Once they leave an application it is hard to get them back to finish it. Students are used to using a CHAT feature when they need help. They often won't pick up a phone for help & are hesitant to send emails.

    I would rather help them in the moment then spend time on my Dashboard figuring out why they have some applications in draft, some in submitted and emailing them how to keep going. (Students often don't read emails)

    On December 6th, 2023 we updated the theme/general styling of GLM/SLM.   8. If custom fields are created on the registration form for organizations OR applicants, currently those fields are not available to be added in Custom Columns. It would be really helpful to have this functionality for visibility when coding payments, classifying applicants, and for eligibility.

  9. We would like the ability to 'Close' an application, rather than 'abandon' or 'deny'. We leverage GLM to have a General Inquiry, which we then copy applications to different processes depending on a conversation with the applicant. Once we're done - not moving forward through the system, it causes confusion for the applicant to see the original as denied/abandoned.

  10. You can currently pull specific question responses for "Passed" eligibility quizzes using the Foundant reporting system (by selecting Approved on pre-filters). However, you cannot pull responses, emails, etc. for those that have "Failed". We would like to analyze those answers, retrieve contact information and other basic functions using Reports for additional follow-up.

  11. We use manual e-mails for our responses to various requests and we sometimes process these outside office hours. We would like to be able to schedule manual e-mails for a later time or date.

  13. Would you consider adding a hard due date for evaluations like there is for applications? This would allow us to use due date as a merge field in our email communications to evaluators to notify them when they are due. It would nice to have an auto-reminder 2 weeks in advance etc.

  14. It would be great if we could put email templates in folders by grant opportunity. We have so many on our CF and have to scroll down to find each one because they are so different. Please make folders to make it easier to find the templates we need.

  15. We have had instances where we are reaching out to 3rd party requests (specifically with LOR) and they refuse to submit a letter on the student's behalf. Would it be possible or beneficial for there to be a decline option in the automated email so the student can find someone else? And yes, we do include strong language to encourage students to talk with teachers/counselors they would like to have submit a letter of recommendation on their behalf.

  17. Would love to have the option to make a comment on an application or organization/contact profile into an ALERT that would then appear for all internal users in some easy-to-identify way. Maybe a "!" icon next to the record when viewing a list of records, and the message in red at the top when the record is opened? Right now, there's no way to flag an issue (org is out of compliance, owes a report, ED owes me $5, etc.).

  18. I would like to see the ability to run a report that differentiates between applications that are applicant-abandoned vs. admin-abandoned. Use case: We had to close several opportunities after they opened. Students who had already applied (or had applications in-progress) were notified, and their applications were abandoned (admin-abandoned). In some cases, a student had abandoned an application prior, and it would be helpful for a report to show whether the abandon was initiated by the applicant or by an admin.
