GLM: Block new application if grant report isn't complete
Block new application from applicant who hasn't completed a grant report on a previous grant award. This would encourage applicants to complete their grant report and provide another level of due diligence built into GLM
39 votesThank you for the idea.
Would you hope this is implemented across all processes?

Login Log for GLM
As it stands right now, the login record in GLM just shows the last time a user logged in and that includes someone proxying into their record. It would be nice to be able to see a detailed list like we are able to in CSuite.

Radio Question Type - Other
It would be great if we could have 'other' as an option for a radio question that gives you (the builder) the choice to automatically produce a text box for applicants to input data around their selection. Currently you have to build 'other' into the question and then build a branched question group, which can not only get messy, but can make the application flow feel very disjointed, depending on the build.

I'd love to be able to copy a question or set of questions
Sometimes I need to create a set of the same question multiple times within the same process/application. For instance, I might need an option to add an address for a second parent/guardian and I don't want to have to create all the address fields again. I'd rather just duplicate the previous group and edit the heading.
A similar solution might be to create a question bank of all fields that have been created within the instance and then be able to select any I'd like to add.

Abandon Follow Up
Abandon Follow Ups
It would be helpful to have the option to Abandon a Follow Up form. Right now, that is not an option and the only way to remove the Follow Up from the dashboard is to Delete it.
Our foundation assigned a Follow Up form for a survey after our giving day. The survey Follow Up is not required, so we are not chasing down nonprofits to complete the survey once we got past the due date. However, we now have a number of those incomplete Follow Ups on the dashboard, which I will have to Delete. The…

Implement a "foldering" system for processes, forms, and email templates
As a high volume organization with many departments deploying grants, the internal user interface is increasingly becoming unwieldy and unorganized. It might be helpful to implement a "foldering" system so different departments/teams can better organize processes, forms, and email templates which look different for each team.

GLM Admin upload of reports submitted via email
There should be a way for an admin to upload a follow up report without having to proxy as the applicant. Many of our reports are emailed to us rather than the applicant going into the system to upload a document.

Allow "Other: _____" Text option at the end of Checkbox questions
Every other form builder application allows you to add an "Other: _____" text box at the end of Checkbox questions. It's a simple way to catch exceptions that you're not thinking of.

Automatically generated request ID
We have long project names for our applications and an automatically generated request ID (example 20240041) that includes the year, would be helpful to identify and search for a specific request, without needing to remember the project name or organization name.

'Archive' button in GLM reports?
Please could we add an 'archive' button or feature to the reporting section so reports or data sets can be hidden from the main page but not deleted? Right now the options are to have a cluttered reports page, or delete entirely.

Grant History
We have had some notes that when in the "grants" subsection of the "Grant Details" tab of the donor portal, the grants do not maintain the same order after using the "copy" function. So, if a donor just wants to run through and copy all the grants they made in 2023 for 2024, it makes it difficult to go through and copy the donees in order

Manager Evaluations
Currently, once a manager evaluation has been assigned, if the manager reviews it and then realizes it should be reassigned to another manager, if he saves it (even without answering any questions), it locks the evaluation and it cannot be reassigned. This is an issue and has not always been this way. I would like to recommend this be changed so if needing to reassign an evaluation, it can be done without issue by the administrator, even if it has been saved. This has been a very big issue for us during our current grant process and I'd like to…

SLM: Adding Upload Responses to Quick Grid Views
We would like to request that Upload Responses, such as transcripts, be added to the Submitted and Complete bucket Quick Grid Views. Often, we need to pull transcripts or other uploads quickly, and it's difficult to go into each student's application to search, view, and download transcripts. If the uploads appeared in the Quick Grid View, we would be able to view these uploads more efficiently.

Easier report user interface
Running reports is too complicating. It would be great to have an easier user interface for running reports / saving reports / even automatically emailing reports on a pre-set frequency.
Have a standard batch of already created reports for the most commonly run reports where you can easily adjust a few parameters/filters like process, date range, funding category, etc..
But also keep the ability to customize a report if a standard report does not give you the information you require.

Report Creation and Distribution Automation
We'd find the capability to have a particular report auto created on a specific schedule and then have that report available to be emailed (or otherwise served) to a group of users very useful in our grant review process.
Our use case is in the final days of our application review period, needing to send a report of all incomplete evaluations to grant review team leads so that they can reach out to their team members with a reminder to complete their assigned evaluations.

Custom Content on New Applicant Dashboard
Please add the custom content back to the new and improved applicant dashboard. On the old dashboard, we included instructions on filling out the application, contact information for our Foundation, and links to trainings. This is not currently possible with the updated version of the applicant dashboard.

Organizational Information Section - that is evergreen
We would really like to have information uploaded to an Organizational page/section. For example - one-time upload of 501(c)3 documents, board members, organizational chart, the reason for non-profit, D&O insurance ect. A place where they can change when needed, but not each grant cycle.

GLM Evaluator portal Process filter and sort order
When an evaluator uses the Process filter on the dashboard, completes and saves an evaluation form, then clicks the Next Pending Evaluation button, the next one may not be from that filtered Process. Please make it so the Process filter pulls through to when the evaluation forms are advance to the next request.
Also, it would be much better for evaluators if the sort by organization on the dashboard would pull through to when they go into evaluation forms so Next Pending Evaluation button takes them to the next request that is alphabetical by organization name.

integer
Change the symbol of the Integer question type away from a # to something else.
In our application we ask for percent of people served in our county. We built that question with the integer question type because that was the only question type where we could restrict the entry to two numerical digits.
But our applicants and reviewers are confused because we are asking for a percentage but the little symbol next to it is the number sign, so it almost looks like we are asking for the raw number of people, not the percent of people.

Third-Party Count in new applicant dashboard
The new applicant dashboard shows a red icon when there are pseudo-common or opportunity-specific third-party submissions that are outstanding (this is great!), but right now it doesn't show the icon if a common third-party submission is outstanding. The count (0/1, 0/2, etc.) when you hover over the icon also only includes pseudo-common or opportunity-specific third-party submissions. This has the potential to be confusing for applicants because they could believe all of their common third-party requests have been submitted when they are actually still outstanding. As an administrator, it will also be difficult to direct applicants on identifying which of their…
