Allow users to have their own personal dashboard that tracks stats relevant to their role.
Allow each user the ability to set up their own dashboard so they can see at a glance some data that is of interest to just them, tasks, etc, all in one place.. Perhaps by using widgets or similar.
4 votesThe following was released on 8/8/2024:
Site: Updated the Home page to have a personalized Dashboard or landing page. This option can be accessed by going to "Me" information where a new "Dashboard" option has been added to the left-hand menu. This will prompt you to edit your dashboard if no charts have been selected. Users can select from the list of dashboards available from: Donations, Events, Funds, Grants, Opportunity, Profile, Scholarship, and Vouchers. Dashboards can be organized in Rows and users will move items between rows by dragging the chart name. Row can be removed using the delete button to the right of each row and rows can be added by using the add row button at the top of the table.
Users can choose to make the dashboard their landing page for a more customized start to their CSuite experience by selecting the Set As Landing Page left hand menu. Any dashboard page within CSuite can become now become the landing page. For example, the grants manager can select the Grant's Dashboard as their landing page. To clear the landing page dashboard go to the "Me" information and select Reset Landing Page.
The "Me" information is found by selecting the user's name in the top right hand corner of CSuite.

Change Fund History Total Grants to not include unposted grants
When a user is on a Fund and selects History, it will list Total Grants with a dollar amount. We discovered that this total will include unposted grants and clicking the link for the backup list of grants does not include unposted grants. This is confusing and needs to be fixed.
We'd rather Total Grants under Fund History did not include unposted grants in the total. Or if unposted grants are part of the total, at least include them in the linked report.

Add Indicator on Profiles to identify them as having been created by Import Donations Tool
Add indicator on profile records that indicates the profile was created from the import donations tool. Allow this field to be filtered on in reports. This will help greatly in identifying duplicate profiles created by imports.

Develop Login Report that also shows Profiles logging in with PIN
Currently, the Fund Advisor Login Log only shows Fund Advisors who have logged into the Portal with Username and Password. Since most/all first-time portal users log in with email and PIN (and some may continue after that), we would like to be able to track all portal users that are logging in -- whether using username and password, and/or email and PIN. Currently, there's no visible record of portal users logging in by PIN. This results in things like receiving grant requests from Fund Advisors without a record of a fund advisor having logged in, and when portals are launched, teams aren't able to get a complete picture of portal adoption. It would also be nice for logins with PIN to hit existing Login Logs throughout the system. Many thanks for considering this idea!

Notify Vendors when paying Vouchers
Emailing Vendors when paying a voucher. We notify our payables manually, but it would be great to send them the check details when the voucher is paid.

Revenue Share Deposits - Impact Investment Interest Income
Revenue Share for Deposits
We get interest income from impact investments which are in our investment pool. We would like to be able to revenue share these deposits rather than do a negative voucher to allocate the interest income.

Option to Sort Custom Reports by Date Last Run
On the Custom Reports page, have option to sort by Date Last Run oldest - newest. This would help with cleaning up old reports if the report list is lengthy and if they haven't been run in a few years.

allow inactive and activate of profile from left menu
Add the option to Activate and Inactivate a Profile from the left menu without having to edit the profile to check, or uncheck, the 'Inactive' field. There are often times where we need to activate a profile to correct some information then inactivate it. This process is tedious when it requires us to edit the profile each time this status changes.

Security Issue: Inactivating a User
We have a security issue that I hope can be addressed. We need to give someone the ability to inactivate a user without giving them extensive access throughout CSuite. This is necessary for immediate off-boarding. Right now, the only way to provide the ability to inactivate someone is to give them Edit permission on Users. Once you have that permission, you can add anyone to groups, sufficient enough to give almost anyone system-wide permissions. That’s sensitive and dangerous. We just want to give someone the ability to do user maintenance functions, such as resetting a password, unlocking a user, or inactivating one, as mentioned, without further permissions. In our case, we have a third-party IT group supplementing our support, so it is an important need.

Opportunity balance should reflect when the opportunity is committed by a pledge
Opportunities are plans that detail and track fundraising efforts to build relationships with prospects and secure major gifts; 2 different types to secure a major gift are cash and pledge.
When a commitment is made through a pledge, the remaining balance should reflect the variance between the solicited amount and the pledged amount. This shouldn't be limited strictly to cash contributions.10 votes -
Print Envelopes as a Word Document
Currently, the Print Envelope feature only allows envelopes to be generated as PDF files. It would be very helpful if there was an option to choose for the envelopes to be generated as a Word document, as there is usually a need to edit the envelope prior to printing.

Restructure Portal Left Hand Menu Options
In the new portal, Fund Statements, Files, Nonprofit directory, Financials, Investment Report, Term Investments and Split Interest are located under Resources and Documents. Is there a way that they can be their own menu on the left hand side? It doesn’t make sense as some of these aren’t a resource or a document.

CommunitySuite Upcoming Releases Page should have a link to the product roadmap
I like to check the Community Suite release notes and frequently visit the upcoming releases page (https://support.foundant.com/hc/en-us/articles/8239927327127-CommunitySuite-Upcoming-Releases). Right now there there isn't anything upcoming and has this message:
We look forward to releasing the following enhancements to your software. Watch for future announcements about when this new functionality will be available in your CommunitySuite solution.
Coming SoonCheck back later for more upcoming releases.
What would be helpful is if it also linked to the product roadmap on this page so we can see the ideas that may become an upcoming release: https://idealab.foundant.com/discovery/roadmap/16777

Grant Catalog in Left Menu of new Portal
In the new portal, the Grant Catalog feature is "hidden" behind multiple clicks. Previously, when there was an active Grant Catalog the tab showed at the top alongside all other tabs. Those tabs are now on the left menu in the new portal, but the Grant Catalog information can only be found after you click Grants - adding in an additional click. Our donors have found this to be confusing and hard to find. Could the Grant Catalog be pulled to the left menu?

Fund Created Field - not a date stamp
For us the Created date for a fund is the date the fund agreement was signed which is never the same day we are creating the fund in Csuite. This field used to just be a date field and then turned into a date stamp. Now after we create the fund in Csuite we always have to edit the date stamp to be the date the fund agreement was signed. And being a date stamp, we have to be sure to only edit the date and leave the time in the field or the system won't accept it. This field would be more efficient to us to just be a date field.

Bring back the option for archived campaign to show on a profile!
I love the ability to archive campaigns and get them off the campaign list, but we would like to be able to continue to see some of the campaigns on profiles. We track programming participants through campaigns and we would like that history to remain easily visible on their profile.
16 votesThere is an option in the left side menu to list all campaigns. Selecting that will bring up a filtered list of all campaigns for that profile.

For Profiles that are flagged Do not Mail
Profiles that are flagged Do Not Mail, Do Not Email, and or Do Not Call should not appear in a Campaign. They do not appear on "Mailing Labels", but do appear when you on a CSV File.
