Restrict Visibility of Custom Fields by Staff Role/Permission
Currently, any staff member with access to view a profile can see all fields on that profile, including custom fields. This creates a challenge for foundations that want to store sensitive information, such as wealth screening data or estimated net worth in CSuite, but only want certain staff members to have visibility into those fields.
We would like the ability to:
- Mark a custom field as restricted or private.
- Control which staff roles or individual users can view that field.
- Hide the field entirely from users who do not have the appropriate permission, rather than simply displaying a blank value.
This would allow foundations to consolidate sensitive donor data within CSuite rather than maintaining it in separate, disconnected tools, improving data integrity while respecting internal access controls.

Add "Not Anonymous" Option on Grant Request Form for Anonymous Funds
When a fund is marked as anonymous at the fund level, that setting applies to all grant requests by default. However, it's common for fund holders to occasionally want a specific grant to be non-anonymous. For example, when they want their information passed along to the receiving nonprofit.
Currently, when a fund is not marked anonymous, the grant request form includes an "Anonymous" checkbox so the fund holder can make a specific grant anonymous. But the reverse does not exist: when a fund is marked anonymous, there is no "Not Anonymous" checkbox on the request form for the fund holder to indicate an exception.
This forces fund holders to either leave a note in the description field or contact the foundation directly, adding friction for both the donor and staff.
We'd like a "Not Anonymous" checkbox to appear on the grant request form when the fund is marked anonymous at the fund level, giving fund holders a clean, self-service way to flag grant-level exceptions.

Giving Hub Cover Fee Options - Per Fund setting
Update the Cover the Credit Card Fee Option in the Giving Hub to be a setting on each fund rather than a universal Giving Hub setting.
We turned this on for a corporate fund but not all fundholders want to offer this option.

Ignore Duplicates
Add an Ignore button under the Similar Profiles area when in a profile (next to the Merge and Tag Merge button). This would save a lot of time!

Audit User Group: Add Ability to view Log within the Transaction
Currently audit only group access allows access to view logs, but not logs within a donation transaction for example. Open permissions so auditors can view the log from within the transaction.

Provide option to move a note that is in a profile to an opportunity that is also in the profile. Currently we have to manually move notes if a note is mistakenly added to the profile rather than the opportunity.

Please remove the requirement for a description when creating a grant in Community Suite. I'd say only a third of my grants have a description. Now I have to do a workaround to include a description in order to create the grant, but edit and remove it so that my grant check template works.

Checking Account on closed funds
All funds, even closed funds are required to have a checking account. However, if a checking account is listed on any fund, that account can't be closed when the bank account is no longer in use. We are running into an issue where we have a bank account that has been closed, but there are many (44) old, closed funds that have it listed as the checking account, so the account can't be closed in Csuite. While I can reopen and change the checking account on the closed funds, this is time consuming and I still have to change it to another bank (rather than leaving blank) account, which could in the future be closed. It would be great to have an option to remove default accounts from closed funds completely or at least edit them in bulk.

Address Validation - Default Drop-Down Menu Option
If Address Validation has been enabled, the Default Drop-Down Menu Option should be "Replace with validated address" instead of "Do nothing". This will allow the user to simply click Save instead of changing each address's drop-down option one at a time and then clicking Save.

"Add File" option when creating a Note
Not too long ago they have us the ability to add a file to a note - this is super helpful because we can often attach email correspondences without junking up the "Files" tab with so many attachments.
HOWEVER - you can only "Add File" AFTER you post the note. So many staff members have forgotten that option is available now. Please put the Add File Option to the Add Note screen so we can attach at note creation.
Thank you!

Add Fund Steward as a field for grant letter templates
Consider adding the Fund Steward as a field for grant letter templates, just like the fund statements. We use a custom field to present this information on our grant letters but having the Fund Steward available is ideal. It's available in other templates so hopefully this is easily implemented.

email grant award letter
The notes that are automatically saved to grantee profiles when a grant award letter is sent do not include emails that were cc'd, nor is the attachment included. There is a link where a file could be attached, but it gives me an error and I don't want to have to manually attach grant award letters to each note on a grantee profile anyway.
When emailing grant award letters from CSuite, we have added a note in the Other Detail field on grantee emails that they are for grant notifications, but this detail isn't available as a field to pull into custom reports nor does it show up on the grant award letter email screen with the list of grantee email addresses. If there is a field for Other Detail on an email address, why can't it be pulled into reports? And without that detail on the send grant award letter screen, it's impossible to tell who we have labeled to receive grant notifications without having the grantee profile open on another screen. It's a very arduous way to send these emails one at a time, which is another issue. There should be a way to send them in a batch AND include emails other than the primary email, but not every email on the profile, only the ones with 'additional grant notification contact' in the Other Detail field.

Sandbox Grant Approval
It would be helpful if the sandbox feature that prevented anyone but the creator of a grant from approving the grant was turned off.
I struggle to understand why would preventing other people from posting my grants help in training?
If the intent is for a user to be able to approve their own grant, CSuite offers a togglable setting that provides for this. Hard coding sandbox to prevent any user other than the creator of the grant from approving the grant is an un-necessary restriction. In reality it, prevents users from testing their internal control environments. It also requires us to disable our internal control environments in order to operate in sandbox.

Sub Category option for Files
The category function is great for organizing files but we would like to provide more organization by having sub categories. Like a main category would be Finance and sub categories would be documents finance would be concerned with such as W9s. Thank You cards would be a Donor sub category. etc.

Integrate Foundant with eMoney to increase philanthropic decisions with our Foundation
eMoney is where many donors’ philanthropic decisions are modeled; integration lets the community foundation be part of those decisions earlier, more accurately, and more credibly.
We have wealth advisors requesting for us so our clients can see the full picture of their assets.

Include Check Numbers on the Bank Reconcile Report Export.
The Bank Reconcile Report is a clean and concise view of the monthly reconciliation. It lists everything needed: Transaction ID / Post Date / Check Number / Description / Check ID / Debit / Credit.
Unfortunately, the Check Numbers are missing from the Export feature and much needed for our monthly data.
Included on attached documentation 1) a screen shot of the Bank Reconcile Report and 2) a spreadsheet of the Export.

Recurring grants - Add additional confirmation to delete a record
Currently, if you click "Delete" on a recurring grant, there is no page to say "Are you sure you want to delete this item?". Once deleted, there is no way to find the recurring grant record to add a note.
We have an internal policy to NOT delete recurring grant records for this reason, and instead max out the occurrence so the record moves to closed/inactive, but we maintain the records.
I have accidentally hit "Delete" when I am intended to click "Edit", luckily only for recurring grant records where I am trying to close out the request, but one click means the record is completely gone.
I have not experienced this in any other place in CSuite, there is always an option to confirm before the record is removed from the system. I would like to have this added to recurring grants as well.
