  1. Is there a way to have the Profile Type in the Profile Creation Interface? It feels hidden in the Relationships tab and our staff entering or updating profiles accidentally miss it. It's also an additional click to see what Profile Type someone is and it would be nice to see right away that that they are a Professional Advisor or Founding Donor, for example.

  2. Please create a Portal tutorial for outside users similar to the GLM tutorial for outside users here https://support.foundant.com/hc/en-us/articles/4479853059991-GLM-Applicant-Tutorial . This would help alleviate a lot of phone calls and emails so that we can do our jobs more efficiently. Thank you.

  4. The shopping cart radio button for Individual or Organization is leading to regular confusion/misinformation as we sell tickets for our fundraiser. It defaults to Individual so naturally people fill that out, but many of our donors are making payments on behalf of their businesses/organizations. Then we have to manually go in and change the donation from the person's name to the business/organization name as the donor. It would be nice to very clearly capture whether the Organization or the Individual is the actual donor and capture the appropriate corresponding information in the cart, to avoid all the manual fixes in…

  5. When building a report from Home> Logs, profile hyperlinks are active. When accessing this same report from Reports, the profile hyperlinks are not active. Please make these profile hyperlinks available whether accessing the report from Home> Logs or from Reports.

  6. During audits, we reconcile the Net Asset account for each fund. While the total Net Assets for each fund appears as a hyperlink, clicking it does not display any associated G/L transaction history. Having visibility into all transactions tied to a fund's Net Assets would be extremely helpful for identifying discrepancies and resolving errors during the audit process.

  7. When running reports, it would be helpful to expand filtering options in general. For example, I can currently add a filter for "Ref" under the Notes report and stipulate "NOT profilepayment" but I cannot add multiples such as "NOT profilepayment and NOT donation". The help desk said the only way to do this would be to build multiple reports. I've run into this filtering limitation with other reports/fields as well.

  8. I would love to be able to set a default "no grant document" by fund or fund type and then have a choice at grant letter to turn off the letter like we can for award letter. It is tedious to find and delete attached grant letters to grants that do not require letters. In our case, we do not send letters with grants that come in from GLM. I understand I can turn it off by check batch, but that means I need to sort out which grants are which at the time of the check run each time…

  10. Current Challenge: The grant reporting system currently lists each fund disbursement as a separate grant, even when multiple funds contribute to a single board-approved grant. This results in:

    Overstatement of grant count: A single grant appears as multiple entries.
    Underreporting of average grant size: The total amount is split across entries, skewing metrics.
    Reduced clarity for stakeholders: For example, a $25,000 grant funded by five sources appears as five $5,000 grants, misrepresenting board decisions and complicating analysis.

  11. Our Communications team would like to be able to add photos and fund descriptions but we are very hesitant to give them full fund edit permission. Can you provide a new "Fund Design" permission so that this can be accomplished?

  14. We need to modify giving levels for a fundraising campaign. As is right now, fundraising campaigns follow the system wide giving hub giving levels. Even if we set specific giving levels on the fund tied to the fundraising campaign, the levels shown on the campaign still default to the default giving hub levels, not the fund.

  16. Utilizing Engagement Strategies for tracking and managing pools of constituents is a great tool, but it would be more useful if we were able to set criteria for each "Strategy" created. This would allow for a more structured system and provide some context to the intent/purpose of each strategy.

  17. Please add ability for "Percent" and "Avg Balance" detail to export with the Revenue Share Audit Balance Percent Detail Report. It would be useful information to have both the Beginning "percentage" and the Ending "percentage" per month calculated and exportable.

  18. It would be helpful if month-end close could be broken down so we could close by the transaction type (ie donations, grants, vouchers, general ledger) or even by division. There are some areas that Finance wants to close ASAP to prevent back-dated transactions by other departments, but other areas that need to remain open for entries by Finance. The current all-or-nothing approach forces us to keep the period open, which means transactions (often grants) can post incorrectly into a past month. Please consider the functionality to allow for piecemeal closes instead of one all-encompassing.

  19. Currently, it is only possible to add 1 tribute per donation in Community Suite. Is there a way to add the ability to apply multiple tributes?

    The case exists in that we have multiple appeals, and even regular donations, where donors send in one gift, one fund, and name many tributes. They are NOT sending one gift to multiple funds with multiple tributes.
