Buckets for Invoices
In the June Sandbox release the new update for invoices makes it difficult to see the most recently paid for invoice in the paid bucket. It would be nice if the most recent was at the top of the list instead of having to click the date buttons to bring them to the top. Having the oldest paid invoices first doesn't make sense.

Bulk add "student" designation for existing profiles
It would be helpful to bulk add "student" designation from a student scholarship recipient profile type. Prior to adding SLM, we used a profile type to be able to sort them and add to the annual scholarship banquet campaign/event. Currently, there is no way to migrate previous profiles who were students (with a scholarship profile type) to have the "student" designation.

Vendor report
It would be great if we can download in excel or csv a report from a specific vendor like all payments made to this vendor in 2024 , per fund.
1 voteYou should be able to create this in reports. In Custom Reports, find the Voucher default report. This can be grouped by Vendor (or filtered to a specific vendor). The Amount and Amount Paid fields can be totaled by column. This report defaults to current year, so the Voucher Date filter can be changed to the date range you need (including All in the relative filter).

Allow Fund Advisors who are Staff Members to update the Contact Preferences
We have Staff Users who are also Fund Advisors. When the Primary email is set to their work email address, they receive all csuite notifications to the Primary email address, auto emailed csuite reports, which should go to their work email but they also receive notifications for their personal Funds. I was only able to update the Donation Notify to be linked to their Personal and preferred email address but there is nowhere else we can update their email/communication preferences to try separate their work email and personal email/notifications. This also happens in reverse, if their personal email is set as primary, they receive work notifications to their personal email. On the Fund Advisor setting, we should have the option to choose a default email for the Fund Advisor and/or allow the Fund Advisor to update their information in the portal.

Create Filters for Grant Submissions by Donors via Portal
Currently, "Create All Requests" in Portal will push all the grants to "New". Regardless if I use "load" or "filter" option, it will push all grants through.
Example:
The request has 2x grants that belong to Employee A and 3x grants that belong to Employee B. If "Create All Requests" is used then all 5x grants will be pushed to "New".Resolution:
I'd like to see a filter where it will only push 2/5 grants through for Employee A or 3/5 grants through for Employee B3 votes -
Grant notify details needed
Our fund holders love the grant notify email (confirming the grants they have submitted) however many have asked for more details. They would like to have Grantee address included to confirm that the correct location was selected. They would also like to see the amount formatted to dollars.

First and Last Donation Date to change based on other report filters
It would be extremely beneficial if the first and last donation date field would change based on other filters in the custom report. Ex. A donation report filtered by a fund that shows all the donors to the fund with the date of the first and last donation to that fund.

Bulk Make Student Grantee/Payee
To help increase the efficiency of processing scholarship payments that need to be payable to the student; a bulk action to set grantee to student would be beneficial. Currently, it requires creating the student profiles in CSuite first via a bulk import with the is grantee, is vendor, is student designation then you have to create the scholarship award (manually, via import or through integration). If you use the SLM integration you must set the student as the grantee/payee on each scholarship one by one. This is a very tedious process that leaves lots of room for error, the creation of duplicate profiles and it just time consuming. A bulk make the student the grantee/payee on the scholarship option would save all of this time when working with these types of awards. It would be necessary to have either a bulk override of the charity check for these student/payee/grantee profiles or CSuite to build in logic that would automatically skip the charity check if the grantee/payee is also the student. Either option would help to process the scholarships through the grants area in a more efficient way.

DonorSearch
DonorSearch Integration - If Csuite was compatible with DonorSearch, it would make data management of both systems a lot easier. Importing and exporting data complicates things.

grant advisor
On grants related to the Grant Advisor field, the field prepopulates with an individual who has the Fund Advisor designation. It would be helpful for the field:
to default to blank or a Fund Founder instead and
contain the ability to list multiple people in the case of a fund with multiple founders.2 votes -
yearly tax letter assigned by division, donor or fund
It would be nice to assign yearly tax receipts based on funds similar to regular tax receipts. We only send yearly receipts to our annual campaign fund donors. There is no way to segregate these tax receipts at this time.

assign check template by fund
We would like to be able to assign check templates to funds. We have our default check and several other check templates. Almost all of the additional templates are specific to certain funds. It would be great if we could set a default check for each fund.

Close a Functional Expense
It would be nice to have to ability to close a Functional Expense, similar to how you can close a GL Account. We use a lot of Functional Expense codes, some of which are not being used anymore, and it would be nice to be able to hide those from the list without deleting them entirely.

Merchandise sales for items that all proceeds are to benefit the Fund
Currently event ticket sales is the only place to post an item to sell where the proceeds will benefit the fund. This is confusing for some folks how it appears to the buyers. We are selling a book where the proceeds will benefit one our funds. In the future there could be campaigns selling a t-shirt or other items with all proceeds benefitting the fund.

Automatic Birthday Emails
Our organization would like to input a generic birthday email template into Community Suite that automatically populates donor info on their birthday and sends to the donor.

opportunity
It would be a nice feature if you could alpha-sort opportunities. We utilize opportunities for a lot of different things and it takes a lot of time to look through them when you can't alpha-sort. I have tried the column at the top, but nothing happens.
8 votesThe Opportunity list defaults to sort by ID. When you select a different column title to sort, you must then "deselect" the ID column which will remove the arrow. The profile column will then sort alphabetically. This sort functionality is the same for all tables in CSuite.

Attach file when adding Donation
When creating a donation, I would love to have the option to drag my attachment directly into that page before having to process the donation.
I currently have to process the donation, then go into attach file and pull in my attachment there, and to finish up with posting it. It would simplify things for my workflow to just be able to drag my attachment into the screen where I'm creating a new donation. (We attach a copy of the check for all donations)

Minimum Yearly Fee
We would like to able to assess a yearly minimum fee that is not at the end of the calendar year but at the end of Q2. If we could adjust the dates for minimum fees that would be very helpful for our process.

Only show global search results once
Global search should only show records once. Currently, it seems that a Profile record can potentially be shown twice: once if there's a hit on name field, and again if there's a hit in the legal name field. Showing records twice has always confused me, and other users I've talked to. Please only show Profile records once per search.
Imagine if you searched the phrase "taylor swift" and her one wikipedia page were returned multiple times in search results, one for every time the phrase "taylor swift" appeared on the page. Makes no sense.

Budgets: Update entry view
It would be most helpful, on the budget entry screen, if the 3 columns on the left that identify the individual accounts (Type, Account, and the Account Name) remained in view as one scrolls to the right across to different departmental budgets. We run 5 organizations, each with a multitude of active funds, and it's quite difficult to isolate a certain GL for entry within a fund that's a far distance to the right across the funds list.
