  1. It would be amazing to have the ability to set up department codes as an optional field that can be selected on each line item when entering a voucher, and thus show up when looking at the GL detail for each expense item.

    We have started doing our budget to actual reporting internally by department and some accounts are used by multiple departments. This would be a huge help!

  2. If a profile has an accent in their address etc, once it gets to the portal cart, it switches to an ascii character. Same thing happens if the description typed in by the donor has an accent in it, it also switches to an ASCII character.

  3. As the CFO, I work on fund clean-up and other grants movement all the time. It would be helpful if grants went to the Approval bucket in Vouchers so my CEO could approve all of the week's payments at once and I wouldn't have to ask her to approve grants constantly. OR so I don't have to constantly change the Settings in Grants back and forth. Maybe this is a toggle within the grant creation? Thanks for considering this idea!

  4. When working with fiscal projects, we are hoping to teach them how to read financial statements. The fund statement is not a true statement of activity, budget, or balance sheet. It would be easier to send them monthly fund statements with their financials already attached, either through an option or a template.

  5. When I'm looking at a profile, under Engagement, there's an option to delete the profile from a campaign. The problem I'm having is that after choosing delete, I'm taken to the CAMPAIGN instead of back to the profile so that I can delete it from other campaigns or make a note. It makes more sense to me, and would improve my work flow, if the system returned me back to the profile where I started.

    Related to this, it would be helpful to have a Delete button on the archived campaigns found under List All Campaigns within a profile, rather…

When doing a lookup in General Ledger for a specific account, it would be beneficial if there were an option to 'save' lookup parameters so users don't have to keep entering the same search criteria multiple times. For example, 90% of the time I am reviewing transactions in only a few GL accounts for the current month's date range. Every time I do this, I have to re-enter the account and date criteria which wastes a lot of time.   10. The grant request status labels in the fund portal are inconsistent. A grant in the Approval bucket will be approval when viewed in Fund Summary and Grant History, but Pending in Grant Request. A grant in the New bucket will be new when viewed in Fund Summary and Grant History but Pending in Grant Request. Would be clearer for the user if these were the same terms.

  13. It would be extremely helpful to be able to bulk add/link donations to an opportunity. We are seeing more and more memorial contributions, which sometimes result in the creation of a fund. I will go back and link these donations, sometimes in the hundreds, to the opportunity, which can be very tedious.

  15. It would be great to be able to email a URL link for a Report, so Users can quickly access shared reports, rather than having to tell them the report name and hope they find it on their own. Currently URL for all reports is: https://columbusfdn.fcsuite.com/erp/report/display

    I know there is functionality to email reports, but those don't have live links to profiles, so that is less ideal for many projects and processes.

  16. Please include a Pledge section/table in the fund statement template. Currently, there are only two fields in the entire fund statement fields list that are related to pledges and they only exist in the donations section/table.

    We are requesting that a Pledge section/table be added to the fund statement template and available fields. Fields like the Pledge Balance, Pledge Anonymity, Pledge Status, Pledge Description, Pledge Total, etc.

    Overall, a section related to just pledges would give our fund holders better insight into the pledges for the fund and what they can expect to be receiving.

  17. On the Sship ID level, add a field, or allow the description field, to move with the scholarship through to the grant/voucher process and appear in check letter.

    At this point, there is no way to communicate necessary payment instructions to schools when sending scholarship checks without a workaround that is time consuming when managing hundreds of scholarship grants in a week. At this time, the workaround is broken and is part of ticket ID #170033.

  18. In Salesforce on the home page there is an option to view recent items. It displays the most recent records that the user last looked at. In Csuite this could be anything with a unique id (note, task, profile, fund, vendor, donation, grant, etc.). Even displaying the most recent 5-10. Sometimes you step a way or click out or you need to remember what you last looked at and this can be a helpful tool. I've included a screenshot from Salesforce (with information redacted) and from where I suggest it displays on the home page.

  19. We’d love to be able to run a bulk Charity Check for all organizations listed in our Nonprofit Directory so we can quickly verify that everyone is still in good standing and hasn’t lost their nonprofit status.

    Right now, Charity Check only works for profiles marked as “Grantee,” so we’ve had to mark orgs that have never received a grant as grantees just to run the check. It would be much more accurate and efficient if we could Charity Check profiles based on the “Nonprofit” designation also.

  20. Currently we use DocuSign to open a DAF and email. Most financial institutions that have a DAF product can be opened online.
    Can a process similar to GLM/SLM be used to open a DAF especially since DocuSign is being integrated. This would be helpful for opening all types of new funds.
