grant catalog field on bulk donation upload template
When we integrate GLM to CSuite for Grant Catalog use, there is no way to add the grant catalog identifier to the bulk donation upload template. We have several foundations that do Giving Day and they have nonprofits apply in GLM to participate, we integrate to CSuite for Grant Catalog. While some donate online and it works great, many people donate in person on Giving Day with a check or cash. In these cases (and could have upwards of 200-400 cash / check donations), our accounting department has to add the grant catalog field after they complete the bulk upload template. Any way for this to be changed?

Vendor report
It would be great if we can download in excel or csv a report from a specific vendor like all payments made to this vendor in 2024 , per fund.
1 voteYou should be able to create this in reports. In Custom Reports, find the Voucher default report. This can be grouped by Vendor (or filtered to a specific vendor). The Amount and Amount Paid fields can be totaled by column. This report defaults to current year, so the Voucher Date filter can be changed to the date range you need (including All in the relative filter).

assign check template by fund
We would like to be able to assign check templates to funds. We have our default check and several other check templates. Almost all of the additional templates are specific to certain funds. It would be great if we could set a default check for each fund.

Merchandise sales for items that all proceeds are to benefit the Fund
Currently event ticket sales is the only place to post an item to sell where the proceeds will benefit the fund. This is confusing for some folks how it appears to the buyers. We are selling a book where the proceeds will benefit one our funds. In the future there could be campaigns selling a t-shirt or other items with all proceeds benefitting the fund.

Post/Approve Grants Steps
When posting/approving grants, if there are no more grants to be reviewed, why do we have to then click to return to the grant you just approved? This extra step will really make a difference in Q4 when we're posting several hundred grants.

Visual Presentations Using Charts (with GL data)
In the old saying, "a picture says a thousand words", could pie and/or bar charts be available in the following areas:
Balance sheet - Cash and Investments, by GL account number, be shown in a pie chart.
Statement of Activity - Investment income items, interest income, dividend income, realized gains (losses), unrealized gains (losses) be shown by month in bar chart
Statement of Activity - Donations/Gifts, Grants actual compared to budget be shown in a bar chart.

Used to be a RE NXT user, and one of the best features was Workflow Designer. You could create processes — known as workflows — as an automated series of steps in the form of actions, emails, or conditions. You can assign actions to someone in your organization to complete, then add conditions to have the workflow move to the next action.
You could add emails to your workflow and set conditions to automatically send those emails to your constituents. Edit campaign after tickets created
We would like to be able to edit a campaign after tickets are created. Currently, we cannot edit any information on the "Details" tab once tickets are created. Sometimes, we need to make slight changes to descriptions or event names and cannot do this once tickets have been added to the event.

Term investments - edit options needed
The observation of not being able to save a backdated maturity date for a Term Investment doesn’t make sense. When modifying all the term investments to make it easier to maintain in Foundant, I didn’t have an issue with the majority that I had to backdate.
For the term investments that don’t have an edit option for the maturity date, this will not work in the future. I need to be able to always have the ability to edit the term investment if something comes up, it can’t only ever be edited once. That is just not possible/doable. I’ve found that the interest rate strategy on some doesn’t have an edit field either.
If there is a way to make the description field and custom fields bulk editable in the future, please do so.
For the term investments that have their interest paid out, the next distribution date has passed so how can the system get caught up?

Multi-platform integrations via Zapier, Make, MuleSoft, or similar middleware
One of the most limiting things about using Foundant is the lack of connectivity to other platforms that we all use. Even in cases where there is some integration (like with MailChimp) that integration is extremely limited.
I found those ideas all via one quick search in the Idea Lab for the word "integrate." I bet there are many other requests that could also be solved this way.

Instead, I suggest that Foundant focus on developing a connector to one middleware platform like Zapier, Make, or MuleSoft. CSuite could connect to one of these platforms, then users could create integrations between CSuite and many other.

board portal
Create a Board portal. A place to put documents, ByLaws, minutes, agendas, governance documents etc. Board would login here to retrieve documents for meetings instead of email and re-emailing with changes.

Viewing all notes for a Household profile and any members
It would be great if we had the option to view all notes for a household and any member profiles in one location. We can make a custom report for this but it involves using a filter. It would be easier for all users if there was an option to view all notes while on the Household profile.

Linking profiles to funds- multiple links at a time
It would be very helpful and much less clicks if there was an ability from the "link fund" or "link profile" screen on the profile if you could link that certain profile more than once to a fund or other profiles before creating. Like at this screen attached if there were multiple boxes if you wanted to link the profile to another fund, same fund, etc. instead of going back to the profile screen and clicking link again.
Or at least be able to link to one fund at a time but have multiple fund categories to one fund per profile on that screen. Add Contact First and Last Name to Year End Tax Receipt template fields
Add Contact First and Last Name as field options for year end tax receipt templates. It would be nice to add the name of an organization's primary contact (which we add to org's first and last name, plus first name in the Salutation) so when sending tax receipt letters for our annual giving day, we don't have to edit the PDF to include the names (I've already voted that these export to Word files). Thank you!

Term Investments - have defaults for revenue accounts, borrowing fund, asset accounts pre populated as these are always the same.
Smart tips would be helpful in creating a new term investment for distribution fields.

Looking for a way to collect donations from donors who don't want to write a check or use a credit card (use ApplePay, PayPal, Venmo, etc). Donors are looking for an easy way to make a quick donation on their phone and/or use QR codes for making donations. How can this integrate to capture donor information?

Balance Swap Account Filter shows closed accounts
In Cash Management - Balance Swap - Add Filter, when you select "From Account" and then checkboxes, the check list that appears includes accounts that are closed (which for us is a lot). It makes no sense that closed accounts would be showing here. It should only show open/active accounts.

Ability to Build Custom Financial Statements in the Reports Section
There are numerous reports that can be customized when you go to the Reports section. I do not see any for creating financial statements. It would be great if you could add more than one column option to a report. Currently we are copying and pasting exported reports to build our desired reports. We have to export 12 financial reports to get to the 6 we want.
