  1. In the new Fund Portal, users have expressed several issues with navigation and confusion because of a lack of information:

    1. When in a specific page on the fund portal, the tab is not highlighted, nor is the text emboldened, in the left-hand menu to reflect what page they are on.
    2. Add a logout button in the top menu options without clicking through to profile.

    Request #2 and #3 are complete. There is a content block that can be customized in Portal Options: Portal Options>Portal Content>Profile tab>portal_profile_header. The option to logout has been moved to the top menu next to change profile.


  2. Please create a type of custom report that can include these two fields: check date and voucher description. Currently, check date is only available on a check voucher report and voucher description field is only available on a voucher item report. To have both of these fields in one report we need to manually export and combine these reports in excel. A custom report that allows both of these fields would be super helpful for 1099 reporting.

  3. (Reposting an archived idea) Please add the ability to link multiple beneficiary profiles to one opportunity. It is common for us to track gifts (e.g. bequests or planned gifts) that will end up benefiting multiple organizations in our community, and we would like to be able to report on opportunities benefiting each organization without having to create duplicate opportunities for each beneficiary of a gift.

  4. It is very rare that a custom report needs to be shared with every employee, typically just one other person or a team. It would be very helpful to be able to select from the user list which employees you want to share with and be able to edit who you shared with at anytime. This will avoid the custom report page from getting overwhelmingly long for everyone.

  5. Right now, if you add profile groups from the campaign directly, or from a report, you get four option buttons for how to add them (see attached screenshots). If you add profiles to a campaign from some other part of CSuite, such as a search and filtered group, for some odd reason it only gives you two of those options instead of all four. Why? That doesn't make any sense. Can you please change the system so that all four of those options come up wherever you add profiles from to a campaign? Thank you.

  6. Currently, inter-fund transfers do not generate a donation notification to fund advisors set up to receive donation notifications. These transfers show up in a donation report so CSuite already recognizes them as donations. It stands to reason they should also generate notifications so that a fund advisor is aware of them.

  7. Currently, the Fund Advisor Login Log only shows Fund Advisors who have logged into the Portal with Username and Password. Since most/all first-time portal users log in with email and PIN (and some may continue after that), we would like to be able to track all portal users that are logging in -- whether using username and password, and/or email and PIN. Currently, there's no visible record of portal users logging in by PIN. This results in things like receiving grant requests from Fund Advisors without a record of a fund advisor having logged in, and when portals are launched,…

  8. We would like to ensure that anonymous profiles/donors are anonymous throughout the system. Basically their information would be masked (similar to the SIN numbers in Foundant) and only those individuals with access can un-mask the information like names, emails, etc. Otherwise it would just show as anonymous with their address.

    This would help to ensure anonymous donors remain anonymous, as it would limit the information throughout the organization as well.   10. When a tab name is revised in Portal Setting, have the 'breadcrumbs' on the portal reflect the new name and not the original hardcoded tab name. Example: if revise Nonprofit Directory tab name from 'Directory' to 'Index', would be great if breadcrumbs back to previous pages reflect 'Index'.

  11. We would like to eliminate the need for a custom row for tracking purposes. We would like to see both a Subscribed & Unsubscribed checkbox within the email rows. Sometimes our contacts move orgs or change emails and we'd like to track which email(s) are unsubscribed to ensure we are using the correct information. We would also like this option added in the reporting sections.

  12. The users should be able to identify the date range that they want to see the Grant History or Donation History for, and to be able to export the results of that date range. We have users who only want the past year or past quarter results to download and right now they are not able to self-serve this way. We have to provide a specific report to them. The new portal should allow users to identify date ranges for the information they need.

  13. Less an idea and more an observation of inconsistencies between the online version and paper version of fund statements within the same batch that requires attention. The page count of the online statement is accurate for that statement (i.e. "1 of 5"), however the page count of the paper statement gets recalculated for the full size of the paper file (i.e. "1 of 306"), as though a new batch of statements have been generated rather than compiling the already generated individual statement PDFs into a single document.   14. Automatically Populate Grantee Contact on Internal Grants:

    It would be great if the grantee contact field would automatically populate with the primary fund advisor on the recipient fund for internal grants and/or we could have a drop down menu with fund advisors to pick from, as opposed to having to manually enter the grantee contact via profile ID each time.

    This already happens for external grants-- so it would great to have the same functionality for internal grants.

  15. Currently, Community Suite does not alert us when a recurring gift is about to end. We would like an alert to be added and an email sent to the donor on the second-to-last donation telling them the recurring donation is about to expire. The email could have a link for the donor to log in and extend the donation date, or it could email us to let us know the donor would like to extend the donation.

  16. It looks like my idea was implemented back in 2022, but I don't see it available on the new version of the fund advisor portal. Our fundholders are used to seeing monthly investment activity published to their accounts, as well as fees charged on a quarterly basis. The Financials section allows for statements, but allowing users to generate statements is risky and not always accurate. Is there any way to publish investment activity and fees to the fund summary screen?

  19. Allow for the option to add 'all emails' or just 'primary emails' from a report to a Campaign. When there is more than one email on a profile, we want the ability to add them all to an email campaign.

  20. Currently on the household record, the Last Donation Date does not roll up all donations from the household members. So, if the household has not given since 2021, but a member of the household gave in 2023, that is not reflected in the Last Donation Date on the household record, it shows their last donation was in 2021. This is not an accurate representation of the household's giving. Please have all household and household members giving be reflected on the household record's Last Donation Date.
