Profile designations for other kinds of directories
We keep a directories of nonprofit consultants, local officials, and attendees of various community leadership programs on our website for the use of others. This means when an edit is done to a profile in CSuite, someone has to check to see if it also needs to be done in the directories. It would be AWESOME if there were profile designations (or some other way of tagging) that would allow us to have online directories for things other than nonprofits. It would have to be optional to have it public--we would put direct links to it on our password-protected pages on our website. I know there has been conversation about this, but I wasn't able to locate anything in Idea Lab, so I'm adding it!

Customize Your Information Settings Per Campaign- Individual/Household/Organization
When setting up a campaign, it would be helpful to select the fields required per event.
At the moment, by default, CSuite allows registrants to select Individual, Household, or Organization. This has resulted in many individuals registering as a No Name Organizations.
During setup, if we could choose the registrant type appropriate, for example, only allow individuals to register, we can get their appropriate information.
Then, if "Add Organization Name" was an additional field that we could set to required when applicable, we would be sure to get all the info when needed.22 votes -
Recurring Alerts on Home Menu
My idea is for the Donations, Grants, and Vouchers on the dashboard to be outlined in a red box when there are recurring donations, grants, and/or vouchers to process. This is similar to what happens to Tasks when there is a task with a due date on or before today's date. It will make it easier to see what action is needed right on the dashboard.

Donor Portal should display only posted donations
Currently, if a user logs in to their donor portal, they are able to see donations that are in the "new" bucket - AKA donations that are not yet posted and may contain inaccuracies.
This has caused confusion for a couple of our donors, particularly those that are also fund advisors and contribute to their fund via check. If we've just entered the check donation but it has not yet been posted, the fund advisor could log-in, see a low balance on their fund advisor portal, but then go to their donor portal and see the "pending" donation, though it looks complete to them making their fund balance appear inaccurate. Please change the settings so that only POSTED donations show up in the donor portal.

Edit Fund Settings : can we break those down further?
It would be AMAZING to have "Edit" permissions on Funds broken out slightly more. We do not want the entire organization to be able to "Edit" a Fund because that gives access to change investment pools, admin fees, division, segment, etc - way too many buttons that drastically change audit, revenue, and reporting.
However, our Donor Services dept would really appreciate access to be able to change who the primary fund advisor is, update pictures and fund summaries for the Giving Hub, and other settings related to the Giving Hub. Right now, our Finance dept is needing to help every time a change is needed there.
Would be great to have some of the "Edit" functions on a separate permissions level than fundamental fund settings!

URL, QR Code export for Giving Hub via custom reporting
The links and QR codes for the giving hub are available on each fund. However, exporting a full list is not available. This is a request to create an easy export or custom reporting field to get these out of the system in bulk more easily.
Additionally, please include the affiliate funds/affiliate giving hub funds when building this out.

Bulk reassign tasks
We would love the ability to bulk update tasks. I am looking at a report with unique IDs and 150 tasks to manually reassign to a current staff person.
I see this idea was proposed previously and archived, so I'm posting fresh to hopefully gain some new interest in this idea. Thanks!

Add descriptive text to existing CRM fields for end user understanding of attribute

Future Opportunity Tasks appear on Profile
When trying to see a full picture of a donor and upcoming tasks, it would be nice to see future Opportunity tasks on the profile. Right now, I have to open the Opportunity to see if there is a future task set (or search All Tasks) and it would be nice if it were just to appear on the profile as a future task.

campaign budget
Since we are able to run income statements for Campaigns, it would be nice to create a budget as well. We hold events and use this option and each event usually has their own budget. - I know you archived but this is extremely IMPORTANT.

tasks
It would be great if tasks could be viewed directly from the profile. Right now you have to click through a lot of places to see tasks. It would be great to have tasks that are not related to an opportunity which is currently not possible. We end up using notes a lot because it is so much more visible from the profile.

option on custom reports to have a column on each record that only shows the profile types that were requested in the filter. For example, if filter equal Board Member and Legacy Member, show each record with only the profile type(s) that met the criteria for that profile not all profile types on the profile.

Bring back the old support
Please bring back the Old Support click. The new Search Help Articles are not as easy to find the information you are looking for. By clicking an article and browsing through the 5x7 area is ridiculous. Why would you make a support site so small and not user friendly?? I don't understand the changes CS is making. I really hope this goes back to the old way.

Don't allow Agency Funds marked Private to be shown as a donation option when the portal access is not marked as able to donate to that fund
In the new portal, if a fund is marked private (like we do for agency funds that only accept contributions from the agency itself, not the public) it is currently showing up as an option to donate to when she goes to the Giving Hub via her donor advised fund dashboard.
Example: Jane Doe is a fund advisor on both her family donor advised fund and she's a fund advisor to the Pawsome Animal Clinic agency fund, for which she serves as a volunteer treasurer. Even though “Donate” is not checked in her advisor access options for the Clinic's agency fund, it still shows up as an option to donate to it when she presses the Donate navigation (which moves to the new Giving Hub).
We strictly follow FASB136 guidelines and thus no person or entity may contribute into an agency fund besides said agency. This did not occur in the legacy portal; thinking it was a missed connection when moving to the new portal.

Additional Color Style Selections, please!
Could you all add more customization options for colors? I've been able to edit a lot using CSS, but I know that isn't an option for most people. Here are colors that I've manually modified or am working on finding the code to modify to match our branding:
- Underscore on the current tab in the top menu (Giving Hub and Portal) that lists profile/funds/logout (portal) or funds/campaigns/grant catalog (giving hub)
- Background color behind login form
- Selection color for dropdown/fund changer in fund portal (and background color - if you set the background to anything other than white, it affects the dropdown menu)
- Hyperlink colors
- Box outline color on form entry
- Prompt text and background colors (i.e., when you are prompted to enter two-factor authentication)

Bulk Action - Set Grant Documents Template, Set Omit Grant Documents
Add the ability to set the Grant Documents Template and mark Omit Grant Documents to multiple grants via the Bulk Action tool.
Currently, you can set the Grant Award Letter Template and set Award Letter Needed (or not) but cannot do the same for the Grant Documents.
Side note - it would be beneficial to have the language for Grant Documents be consistent throughout the system. When in a grant, it's Grant Documents Template, but when in the Templates section, it's "grant_letter".

opportunity
The "Add Opportunity" action still shows up when user is in the "Relationships" tab on a profile record, even though the the Opportunities tables has been relocated to the "Engagement" tab on a profile record. Would be great for this action be relocated to show up when a user is in the "Engagement" tab as well.

Linking funds
The new updates for opportunities is great. It would be great to have the ability to add funds like you can add profiles. We have donors that have multiple funds under one agreement. But we don't have way to link the funds other than the relationship tab under fund owner.

Would love to be able to set the default dashboard period
Currently, my Dashboard defaults to a rolling 12 month period. I just want data related to the current financial year. Every time I open the Dashboard, I have to edit the Start/End dates.
