  1. Create custom fields that include date and comment fields. The date so we can see when it was last updated, and comments so we can add more detail. This would be a huge enhancement, making custom fields much more intelligent and informative!

  2. It would be useful to be able to pull the Process Summary in an email. Every year before I open the scholarships, I send the donors a copy of the criteria using word mail merge. This would be much simpler.

  3. It would be useful to be able to have the Process Summary as a merged field in an email template. Every year before opening the scholarships, I send the donors a copy of their criteria using word merge. It would be easier to just send them an email from SLM.

  4. It would be very helpful to have a note go to the students automatically saying that their Universal Eligibility quiz has been successfully submitted and then a separate letter stating that they successfully fille out the individual applications that are part of the application

  5. It may be helpful to have an option in GLM to require organizations to pass a charity check before they can submit an application. This would save some manual steps a little later on in our process.

  6. Batch Emails for Targeted State or Province
    Location: Proposal for Batch Email Functionality in Organizations > Search Criteria > State
    It would be helpful to allow batch email functionality within the "Organizations > Search Criteria > State" tool from the Administrator Dashboard. Enabling targeted and timely communication to organizations during emergency scenarios, such as California wildfires or other state-specific disasters, to remind groups in need of grant funding to apply for our Disaster Grant.

  7. If a grantee uploads a file when submitting a follow-up, it would be helpful if that file could be attached to the notification email sent to admins and others so they don't have to log into GLM to download it.

    This would also be useful for applications, especially when working with colleagues who don't have easy access to the system (or want to).

We use branching questions in our grant application that are set to internal so we can branch an applicant to the application we want them to complete and not have multiple processes in our site. I just realized that when an applicant clicks on the "Question List" button in their site, this shows them ALL of the questions in our application, regardless of how the application should be branched. The fact that applicants can see the entire question list for an application seems to negate the purpose of branching. This is very confusing for applicants because they do not know…

    Hello,

    You are correct in that all branch groups are displayed in the question list; we follow this as best practice for projects like project streamlining so that applicants don't become surprised by the amount of time the application will take them. We also encourage as a best practice that you add instructions to the branch groups for that visibility and communication explain when they will see that group.


    However, Internal Questions should not be displayed to applicants. Please report this to our support team so that we can review it.

  9. Applicants love the collaborator feature, but they are confused with "Can view, Can edit or Can submit" because they do not understand the permissions are additive. Would it be possible to change these to "Can view", "Can edit" and "Can edit and submit"? Even an explanatory pop-up would be helpful.

    Would also like an additional checkbox "Allow to invite other collaborators" or such. My applicants are asking for this. Either that or include it as part of the Submit permission.

    I know that this was submitted in the past, I am suggesting it again.

  10. It would be nice to hook a donor email to a scholarship opportunity so that students can automatically send them a thank you note from their follow up form. I know this would be possible to do through the third party field but it would be too much work to add the donor email to each follow up form. Plus, this would require us to give a donor email to the students, which some donors may not like.

  11. The standard columns for the tables are not optimal for our program, so we've assigned project numbers to each funded application. I would like to be able to see this number in the payment tracking table, but can't add it to the installment form as a shared question. Woiuld this be valuable to others?

    I would also like to be able to delete some of the standard columns--project titles take up a lot of space and are not that useful!

  15. In GLM, it takes a LONG time to navigate to a specific request. Summary of that process: home screen > search > organizations > type org name > wait for results to load > comb through all results > click on correct org name > requests > comb through all requests > click on correct request name > finished. That's a TON of steps.

    It'd be very helpful if we could export the unique URL of all requests. I'm thinking it could be a report field? this would enable us to set up an offline spreadsheet containing direct links to…

  17. I am currently having an issue where we are not getting a full picture of donations that include tributes. The Tribute Donation Summary report will only include the names of tributes for online donations if the donor selects to notify the family of the person, if they leave it blank it automatically marks not to notify. When checks or other donations are entered by staff the notify option is left blank in many occasions they are included in the Tribute Donation Summary.   20. We would love the ability to display ranking options in text to our evaluators, such as
    Extremely Clear
    Very Clear
    Somewhat Clear
    Not So Clear
    Not at All Clear

    BUT - We'd like to store them as numeric data so that
    Extremely Clear =5
    Very Clear =4
    Somewhat Clear =3
    Not So Clear =2
    Not at All Clear =1

    To be clear, we don't want to show the numeric to the evaluator, just the text.
    Currently, we use a complicated formula to calculate the data.
