  2. TLDR: I'd like to be able to reuse a snippet of a form on another form, perhaps from a library of snippets.

    Let's say in 2023 I built one great form and copied it 20 times so that all my forms built in 2023 used the best practice of sharing their fields (variables). Now in 2024 I have a new group of fields - budget or demographic fields that I need to add.

  3. I'd like to be able to customize the Third Party Dashboard columns to indicate if the request is a transcript, a letter of recommendation, or something else. Currently, the requestee has to click on each request or remember each email to know what is waiting for them. It may be helpful to have a descriptor column of the nature of the request.

  5. Here is a common scenario. An org is fiscally sponsored by a church and then gets their own 501c3 status and changes their name. In foundant, we would update the org name to say (formerly XYZ Church). When evaluators see the church name - they often ask whether services are limited to members of that church even when the org has nothing to do with the church (e.g., a food bank).   6. I wish i could use merge fields when building grant agreement forms. I have a paragraph called RECITALS that has project specific information in it. I wish I could use merge fields in the instructions questions....

Someone else requested it, but it was archived, so I would like to bring back into consideration third party reminders based on a due date (the application due date, if not a separate third party due date), instead of the date when the third party response was requested. Our application process opens several months before the application due date, and some requests are made right away. Not only will those recommenders forget by the actual due date, but it has historically seriously annoyed our recommenders to receive a reminder before the actual due date.   8. Currently we have our Board Books stored in the shared documents tab of Foundant. Each Board Book folder has multiple sub files. Each subfile can be downloaded, but it would be nice to be able to download the entire folder which would include all the files.

  9. Howdy! We are trying to increase our usage of electronic payments for grantees and are updating tens and hundreds of profiles at a time.

    As it stands now, updating ACH settings in CSuite require two separate bulk updates - one for ACH settings to add account and routing number, and the second for changing the default payment type. That means culling two reports to 'match' the profiles ID (which is the most labor intensive part of the process).

  10. We really need the ability to close an LOI and NOT HAVE IT APPEAR on the Board Members' Dashboard. The only way to remove it is to - delete the LOI, Abandon it or Decline. Those options are confusing to the applicant, because we may be considering this grant for a future grant in a different process. There should be a way to keep it on the Admin Dashboard and remove it from the Board Members' Dashboard - because it confuses Board Members - who may not be very computer-savvy, but are doing their best in this digital world.

  12. It would be useful to be able to have the Process Summary as a merged field in an email template. Every year before opening the scholarships, I send the donors a copy of their criteria using word merge. It would be easier to just send them an email from SLM.

    Location: Proposal for Batch Email Functionality in Organizations > Search Criteria > State
    It would be helpful to allow batch email functionality within the "Organizations > Search Criteria > State" tool from the Administrator Dashboard. Enabling targeted and timely communication to organizations during emergency scenarios, such as California wildfires or other state-specific disasters, to remind groups in need of grant funding to apply for our Disaster Grant.

We use branching questions in our grant application that are set to internal so we can branch an applicant to the application we want them to complete and not have multiple processes in our site. I just realized that when an applicant clicks on the "Question List" button in their site, this shows them ALL of the questions in our application, regardless of how the application should be branched. The fact that applicants can see the entire question list for an application seems to negate the purpose of branching. This is very confusing for applicants because they do not know…

    Hello,

    You are correct in that all branch groups are displayed in the question list; we follow this as best practice for projects like project streamlining so that applicants don't become surprised by the amount of time the application will take them. We also encourage as a best practice that you add instructions to the branch groups for that visibility and communication explain when they will see that group.

    However, Internal Questions should not be displayed to applicants. Please report this to our support team so that we can review it.

  17. It would be nice to hook a donor email to a scholarship opportunity so that students can automatically send them a thank you note from their follow up form. I know this would be possible to do through the third party field but it would be too much work to add the donor email to each follow up form. Plus, this would require us to give a donor email to the students, which some donors may not like.
