  1. Every download has the same name. It is confusing when you're downloading many different applications/evals/etc for internal archiving. The downloaded file needs the process name and the applicant name and year when I download. I just end up with ApplicationPacket (1), ApplicationPacket (2), etc., I have to rename every single file one by one so I don't lose track of which is which.

  2. When people make online gifts sometimes they are giving in memory of multiple people, but we can't connect more than one tribute to the gift so we have to manually keep track. It would be nice if there was a mechanism to help us track when this happens. Support said there is not and to post here instead

  3. At BACF we have 11 different committees that review applications based on their funding alignment. Our current process is running a universal application. We then create individual processes for each of our committees, and manually copy applications into the processes for the committees that will review it. For example, we may get a funding request from the American Red Cross that has funding alignment across 3 different committees. I would then manually copy that request into each of the three processes for those committees to review.

    Where this becomes cumbersome is that I have to go into each application individually…

  4. A customizable dropdown "category" field in the contact profile and the organization profile pages would allow for Foundations to create more specific reports. Assigning contacts to a specific "VIP" category or "ED" category could be a game changer for managing contacts in Foundant and pulling these in reports. Same scenario with organizations; having the capability to place them on a hold category, or inactive category would help a great deal in reports.

  5. Would love for Candid to automatically check/verify applicants 501c3 status prior to them submitting a Letter of Intent/Application or at least showing on their submitted application what the status of the organization is.

    It would be nice to see all submitted applications and the status of their organization right there on the Dashboard all at one glance or at least within their application.

  6. Would there be a way to customize what is shown on an evaluator packet? We typically allow board members to view a folder of evaluator packets, but they get long and we want to make it easier for board members to quickly digest a grant. Is there a way to either customize what we include in the packets or easily batch download the executive summaries for all of our grants in a given cycle?

  8. My proposed idea is to create a "Create Document and Attach to Request AND Attach to Email" button next to the current "Create Document and Attach to Request" button. This would perform both actions at the same time. Currently, attaching a document to an email requires manually uploading the document.

  9. Create a way to export processes from a universe without having to individually create them in the process tab? Like, if you have a universe full of application opportunities, you would have the ability to move each application opportunity to an individual process by copying every process into its own. This would then move all eligibility requirements, application, evaluation, and follow ups to the new process. Then in each process, you are able to edit out the eligibility requirements that are no longer needed.

  10. When choosing .doc or .pdf for a merge doc, it would be helpful if that choice was available at the top of the list of templates, instead of having to scroll to the bottom.

  11. Add a Search Bar on request history page, within an organization summary.

    It would really help if we could search requests by process in the organization 's grant history. We can alphabetize them today, but using a search would help us.

  12. Our GLM site is linked to QuickBooks Online through the new integration. In the Account drop down list on the Installment Form, the one Chart of Account account we charge grant payments to is not included in the list. There are 46 accounts that we can select from....just not the one expense account that we charge all grant payments to!
    I would like to be able to have our grant account added to the list of available accounts and the other accounts deleted.

  13. On the Applicant Opportunities tab on the UA - could we edit the order that the opportunities are listed? I know we can alphabetize the entire list, but I have two separate groupings of opportunities. I just added two new opportunities for 2025 and I want to put them each in a specific location on the list. Thank you.

  14. The new giving hub does not permit grouping of funds. This is something useful that we will be losing. In addition, there be ability to default to "show additional funds" format. In addition, this "additional funds" is not sorted by priority, but only alphabetically.

  15. While chatting with support@foundant.com they suggested I submit a request to be able to customize the date when manually entering a historic application because unfortunately it shows today's date for the date of submission and I want it to show a date from years ago.

    We have an applicant that last applied in the mid 90s and is applying again. We don't have their historical application in Foundant but we have the hard copy file. I added the historical application to the Request History tab and scanned in the old application but it doesn't give me the option to put…

  17. It would be great if attachments in the "Documents" tab could be previewed (much like how documents can be previewed within an application by clicking the eye icon).

    Currently, a user has to download a file from the Documents tab in order to view it. It would be amazing to keep the preview experience within the browser. As an added bonus, my downloads folder wouldn't get clogged up!

  18. Not sure if this should be form building or reviewing, but the default now when editing or reviewing the UA and other processes is when you open one question group, the other collapses. I would like to ability to have multiple or as many question groups open as I want at the same time, in case I'm trying to review items/questions between them. I understand some people may want to only see one at a time, so making this a setting would give admins an option to decide which way they prefer.

  19. When a Follow Up is submitted by a grantee, we would love for that Follow Up to show in the dashboard of the Program Officer who worked with that organization during the application stage so they can easily tell they have a report to review and approve. We have the Program Officer assigned at the LOI/Application/Evaluation stage, but then we aren't able to maintain that assignment through Follow Ups.

    Currently, I, as the administrator, get an email when a follow up has been submitted, and then because there's no way to bring in the assigned Program Officer on the email…

  20. I wish i had a way to confirm existing vendor ids that are hand entered. If my grant managers make a mistake here, the wrong people get paid.

    I looked at using a branching question. But there is no way to see if the answer to Q1 matches the answer to Q2...

    In my form it's set up as:

    Does your school have an existing THR Vendor ID? (Y/N)

    Branch Group: Yes

    Enter school's THR vendor ID: __________ (integer, limited to 15 chars)
    Confirm school's THR vendor ID: _________ (integer, limited to 15 chars)
