  2. The request history table in the print packet is so helpful. Board members and evaluators really like to have a quick snapshot of this information.

    It would be great if we could
    1) pull this table into application or evaluation form as an internal field or
    2) create a field with the option to make request history pop out as an external window
    or any solution that offers a simple way to have eyes on request history to those folks who spend little time in the database and don't feel comfortable with extra clicks

  5. There should be a way for an admin to upload a follow up report without having to proxy as the applicant. Many of our reports are emailed to us rather than the applicant going into the system to upload a document.

  6. We believe the administrator comment function is valuable. Its impact could be even stronger if given the option to notify the applicant that a new administrator comment has been added to their application. This seems to work well for the Idea Lab!

    On December 6th, 2023 we updated the theme/general styling of GLM/SLM.   9. Either sync grantees change of address in GLM to CSuite as primary/pay/mailing so we are not mailing grant checks to old addresses, OR, have an alert for when grantees change their addresses in GLM.

  10. It is possible to add a chart to your data set in "run report", however, this is not the most useful because you cannot export these charts in any way. The only way to use this data visualization would be to screenshot the chart and paste it elsewhere.

    I suggest it be possible to download the chart the same way you can download a chart from the metrics dashboard in the run report function.

  11. It would be great to allow Follow-up Due Dates to be shared within Decision forms or future follow-ups. For example, within our Decision process and within our Grant Agreements (follow 1), we mention that grantees will need to complete a Final Report (follow-up 2). We would like to auto-populate the Due Date of the follow-up 2 in both the Decision process and the Grant Agreement so that grantees can sign-off that they acknowledge and commit to the final report. Being able to auto-populate this field based on system due-dates would allow for efficiency as well as minimize human error. This…

  13. In order to facilitate the archival of correspondance linked to an organization or a request, we try to always send e-mails directrly from Foundant (using the "Send (no template)" option.

    However, the responses come to our Outlook inbox and we have to save them somewhere in order to upload them in the Document section of the organization or request. It takes time and it does not allow us to view all correspondance in one place (e-mail history).

    There is a lot of back and forth with applicants and grantees, so that would be very useful!

    We are continuing to understand the  needs and workflows for emails that need to come back into the system. 


    What providers are people using? 

    Are there emails other than responses to system messages that need to live in the system? 

    If an email was sent in relation to a request, example for submitted, where would you want to view that email from? 


    Any thoughts are very helpful

We use branching questions in our grant application that are set to internal so we can branch an applicant to the application we want them to complete and not have multiple processes in our site. I just realized that when an applicant clicks on the "Question List" button in their site, this shows them ALL of the questions in our application, regardless of how the application should be branched. The fact that applicants can see the entire question list for an application seems to negate the purpose of branching. This is very confusing for applicants because they do not know…

    Hello,

    You are correct in that all branch groups are displayed in the question list; we follow this as best practice for projects like project streamlining so that applicants don't become surprised by the amount of time the application will take them. We also encourage as a best practice that you add instructions to the branch groups for that visibility and communication explain when they will see that group.


    However, Internal Questions should not be displayed to applicants. Please report this to our support team so that we can review it.

  15. Is there a way in GLM when sending an email to have the reply come back into the system so that it is recorded? Currently, I input my outlook email address in the "Reply To" but that does not pull into the GLM. I would like to be able to keep track of responses in a more seamless manner.

  16. Right now, Foundant does not allow you to create and format a Merge Template that you can then use as the Print Packet associated with each form. The editing capabilities for the Print Packets are extremely limited and there is certainly room for formatting and content improvements. It would be very helpful if admins were able to create and format a Merge Template in a way that is most supportive for their team and evaluators and use that as the Print Packet.

  17. Would like to be able to copy real application data to Sandbox for testing rather than having to recreate application data in Sandbox. Implementing a new rubric for evaluating and spent a bit of time entering application data to test new rubric. Thanks!

  18. We have a question used in several processes. I propose a question maintained in the process manager than can be added to multiple processes. We would have one location to maintain the response options for simplicity/authority. It would also streamline reporting metrics with uniform answers for comparison.

  19. For Content Area > Advisor Request Confirmation Email, please add "Special Instructions" (aka "Grant Req Notes") as merge field option so donors have confirmation that their full request, including tribute info/purpose, went through.

  20. I would love to have a search option when evaluators are assigned. We have over 150 potential evaluators so it would be helpful to be able to search by name instead of scrolling to find the evaluator's name.
