Increase Donation Description Field Character Limit
Give us more characters in the donation Description field, please! Currently, there is a limit of only 256 characters, which is very limiting. We use that field to list the details with stock gifts, as that field is visible on the portal for donors. 256 characters doesn't go far when donors are donating multiple stocks.

budget
CSuite doesn't have a way to export the budget by month without running a report for every month individually. Can there be a report or budget export created to do this by fund?

New Quick Tips / Quick Reference Guide Update - Please Make Optional!
Please make the update that moves quick tips to the quick reference guide an opt in / optional update. Maybe some will find this a better interface, but as it shows in this roll out video (http://player.vimeo.com/video/1086467921), it would be a big step back for us. Being able to just hover over the ? icon and see the quick tips makes the system super intuitive and easy to verify field purposes. But with this update we would have to click a link to another page and search for that field through that list to see the tip instead.

Affiliate Portal Fund Balance Page: Add/Display Fund Group and/or Subgroup Column
On the Fund Balance page within an affiliate record, there's currently no way to see which fund group or fund subgroup a fund belongs to on that page. Adding an optional Fund Group or Subgroup column would help affiliates quickly categorize and distinguish their funds (fiscal sponsor, charitable remainder trust, agency, individual/family, etc.) without additional navigation.

Affiliate Portal Gifts Page - Add/Display Fund Name Column
When viewing the table displayed on the Gifts/Donations page on an affiliate record in the portal, there's currently no way to identify which fund a gift was directed to without running an export. Adding a Fund Name column directly to the gifts table would make this information immediately visible without the extra steps, which is a quick win for usability.

Funds without tasks associated to them should be reportable
In reports and Data Visualization, you are able to create a report that shows all the opts and tasks associated with a Fund. We would like to be able to run a report or DV to show all funds that do not have tasks in a given date range so that we know who which fund advisors we need to touch base with. Currently, the only way to do this, is to run a report for all funds, and run a second report that shows funds with tasks, export both lists, and then do a vlookup in excel against the fund report to see which funds are missing tasks.
This is important for our foundation so that we are always staying in communications with our donors. In reports and Data Visualization, you are able to create a report that shows all the opts and tasks associated with a Fund. Fund Balance Report or Custom Reports with Balance as of Certain Dates
I noticed a suggestion a while back to include $0 funds in the Financials: Fund Balance Report, and I would like to bring that back up. Or else a custom report where you can pull balances as of a certain date, not just the Current Balance. This would be extremely helpful for various reasons.

Please move the Review Grant Request link to just below the Grant Request Cart so fund advisors readily see this link.

Reporting
Allow filtering on the same field more than once for the same report. For example, we might want to see 2 specific dates, or eliminate more than one batch or date from a report.

Sent Date for Manually-Sent Tribute Notifications
We have a need to send some notifications for donations on tributes manually while processing others (on the same tribute) in bulk. This is not an intermittent need for us; it happens weekly. We should be able to do this by processing the one-off notifications manually, then running the remaining notifications through the bulk process. However - CSuite doesn't add a sent date to tributes that are sent manually. It does show the action in the log, but not to users or in reports.
Can you please have the sent date populate for manually notified donations on tributes?

LYBUNT
LYBUNT Report in Dashboards is not accurate because it counts donations from households and individuals as separate.
For example, if Jane Doe only donated in 2025 but the Jane and John Doe household donated in 2026, the LYBUNT report would show Jane Doe which would be incorrect because Jane actually did donate in 2026 with John through the household.
I suggest having the LYBUNT report consider donations from indiv and their households as one unit to prevent this issue.

Add "Assign To" option for opportunity tasks
Add the same feature of "Assign To" that is available in Tasks to Opportunity Tasks, so that multiple opportunities will pull in a report under one opportunity task entry. As opposed to "Share with" because this doesn't actually show up in the opportunity task report.
Ex: 5 staff go to an event. Allow one user to create one opportunity task and assign to each of the 5 staff members that went to the event. When the opportunity task report is pulled for that quarter, it will show one entry with 5 opportunities completed and accounted for within that one entry.

Enable the 'CC' field in Grant Document emails to automatically populate using the email address labeled 'CC' in the profile. This is currently done manually but automating it would save staff time. Referring to Grant Documents> Process Documents> Choose Batch> Email Documents.

Income Statement Format
Due to large market swings of investment activity, the income statement can show confusing information. If a particular month has huge gains it could mask an issue where expenses exceed revenue. Moving realized and unrealized gains to a separate location on the income statement, the true performance of the foundation can be seen. We are attaching a sample income statement that we manually generate in excel. Besides segregating market gains and losses it would be wonderful to reflect the ending fund balance as well.

Grant Request created from guidestar should show address in CSuite when processing grant requests, not just grantee name, and profile matche
When fund advisors use the guide star search, when staff process the grants in the new bucket all they can see in the new grantee field is the name and that it was from guidestar search. Often times, even though the guidestar search was used, we actually already have the grantee in our system. Our grants manager has to make the new grantee, compare it to the one in our system, and if it already exists then delete the new profile, and change the grantee in the grant. It is a lot of steps to take. When we see the grant we should see if it is a new grantee and the address information - so we can check if it is one already in our system. It would even be great if it compared for EINs in our system to see if there are potentially existing matches already. It is especially challenging when it is something like American Red Cross when there are multiple branches and we aren't sure if this is one we already have a profile for or if it is one in another city that we haven't.

Transactional Admin Fee Maximum
It would be nice to be able to have a fund fee type of 1% of each donation received with a $1,000 minimum and $5,000 maximum annually, for example. We can currently accomplish the $1,000 minimum by assigning a 0% yearly fee with a $1,000 minimum (in addition to the 1% transactional fee). This fee looks back at transactional fees charged over the year and brings the total up to $1,000 if it isn't already. However, if a fund has already been charged over $5,000, I don't see an automated way to have a maximum fee on a transactional fee type. If you’re setting up a quarterly fee, it allows you to set a maximum annual fee. Could a maximum annual fee be added to the transactional fee types as well? It would be great to be able to put an automatic cap on a transactional fee. Thanks for considering!

tasks
It would be great if tasks could be viewed directly from the profile. Right now you have to click through a lot of places to see tasks. It would be great to have tasks that are not related to an opportunity which is currently not possible. We end up using notes a lot because it is so much more visible from the profile.
