View/Delete Previous Imports for Custom Fields
For Journal Entry imports, you can view previous imports and view/unpost/delete the transactions tied to those import events. The same should be true for the custom field imports. Right now, there is no way to reverse a custom field import if it is made in error. The poses a threat to the data as large amounts of data can be altered and then lost.

Sync Sandbox to an earlier back up of Live Site
We recently lost a large portion of our custom field data because of a error on a custom field import. As the import had been run in both our sandbox and live sites, we were not able to pull the older data from the sandbox to fix the live site. Foundant cannot pull specific data out of a back up (would need to set the whole system back to the back up date) and so we are stuck with having lost that data. It would be a weight off our minds if we could know there is a work around to sync the sandbox to an earlier backup so that we could recover data in a situation like this. As it stands, we are just going to have re-enter all the data and then set up a series of regular reports to pull to manually back up sections like custom fields for the future.

Add closed funds to fund advisor designation
Now that closed funds have an option to be viewed in the portal, it would be nice to have the option to add closed funds to the fund advisor designation so folk can see the history in the portal.

Grant Request created from guidestar should show address in CSuite when processing grant requests, not just grantee name, and profile matche
When fund advisors use the guide star search, when staff process the grants in the new bucket all they can see in the new grantee field is the name and that it was from guidestar search. Often times, even though the guidestar search was used, we actually already have the grantee in our system. Our grants manager has to make the new grantee, compare it to the one in our system, and if it already exists then delete the new profile, and change the grantee in the grant. It is a lot of steps to take. When we see the grant we should see if it is a new grantee and the address information - so we can check if it is one already in our system. It would even be great if it compared for EINs in our system to see if there are potentially existing matches already. It is especially challenging when it is something like American Red Cross when there are multiple branches and we aren't sure if this is one we already have a profile for or if it is one in another city that we haven't.

More details to email from "Fund Advisor Profile Updated"
This idea was already archived in the idea lab, but I'm bringing it back, as it is could still be improved.
When fund advisors update their account info in the portal (which is great!), staff receives an email notification with a link to the fund advisor record. We then click on the link, go to the profile, and then have to view the logs to determine what was changed. The email notification should included the details on what was changed OR when in Csuite, the updated information should be an alert for staff to acknowledge or "approve" the change.

Font styling needs to be added to CSS
We really need a way to manage font color/size/weight in the CSS page. Menus / navigation font is so light in color and weight that it cannot possibly be meeting contrast/visibility requirements for accessibility. We need an easy way to adjust that without having to build all the styling within our content html.

Set email for login and send email for password
Can you make the function that exists for Fund Advisor (legacy) available to all user logins? In this function, you can set the primary email as the login username in bulk and send an email for the user to set a password.

Hide new grants from fund advisor portal that are not requested through the portal
For the new portal, when a grant is added to the New bucket in CSuite it is also visible to fund advisors on the portal. It would be better if it didn’t display in the portal until the grant is paid. Before the grant is paid, there is a chance the grant hasn’t been reviewed yet and the information isn’t accurate. If a grant request is submitted through the portal, it should display the status of that grant throughout the process. It’s the grants that aren’t requested through the portal that we’d like to not have displayed until they are paid.
If “Grant Notify” is enabled for a fund advisor, they are only notified once the grant has been paid. The same logic should apply to what’s made visible in the portal.

Department Codes per GL Line
It would be amazing to have the ability to set up department codes as an optional field that can be selected on each line item when entering a voucher, and thus show up when looking at the GL detail for each expense item.
We have started doing our budget to actual reporting internally by department and some accounts are used by multiple departments. This would be a huge help!

Ability to Import Recurring Grants
There are times throughout the year where it is necessary to put several recurring grants into the system to set everything up for the next year or based upon requests from a fund holder. In order to do this it has to be done one by one in the system. It would be helpful to have a way to get several recurring grants into the system via a front-end import.

Notes & Files for Grant Catalog
It would be great to have the ability to add a note or a file to the grant catalog. There may be information that is pertinent to a specific catalog.

donor portal financials
If a fund advisor has multiple funds, i.e. an affiliate, on the screen where they can choose which fund to access, is there a way to put the fund balance under the fund name? That way you can see the fund balance without opening each fund.

Grant Refunds
It would be great if the grant refunds could impact the grant total amount in the same manner as grant cancellations.
At a minimum, the grant coding from the orginal grant should carry over into the grant refund or, at the very least, have a place to enter the Fund Grant Type Name in the grant refund record. When running reports by Fund Grant Type Name, refunds are blank resulting in the need to manually code them in excel each time a report is run

AP historical aging
This has been requested before and marked as implemented, but not actually. Every auditor requests an A/P aging as of 12/31/24. Currently, if you select A/P aging, the report looks great and is exactly what you would want/expect. But if you select historical aging, instead, you get a list by fund, no aging aspect, and it's not anything like the current A/P Aging. Please create a report, as this is standard in most accounting systems, that will satisfy the auditors, without us having to export to excel, sort by invoice number, total by invoice number, and then manually age. Even if we have to create a custom report, please give us the options to do that.

Giving Hub
We need to be able to have more than one Event Ticket Tab Name. We have 19 affiliates so it is not uncommon to have more than one event with tickets for sale happening at any given time. It would be nice if this Event Ticket Tab Name was somehow tied to the actual Campaign, this way for each affiliate, their event tickets for multiple events would each have their own tab name.

Capacity to tag additional profiles in notes
Capacity to share notes between profiles would be awesome.
Example 1: Fundraising visit with a particular business. Visit notes could go on the business profile, but the note could "tag" additional profiles, such as the business staff members present at the meeting.
Example 2: We utilize notes to capture obituary information. Family members could be "tagged" on the note in order to share the information across profile records, rather than repeating the obit note several times. One entry, several tags = awesome!

Archive Old Admin Fee Schedules
Please make it possible to archive old and unused admin fee types. This has been proposed many times and it keeps getting closed because it's already been implemented, which is incorrect.
The only way to get rid of an admin fee type is if it's never been applied to a fund or used. This is the error message you get when you try to delete one: This fee type was used in 2 admin fee calculations and cannot be deleted.
A clean list makes it easier to process admin fees and would also help when setting up new funds - there isn't a huge list to comb through. Please make it possible to archive old and unused admin fee types. Allow changes to Recognition Name field and description shown during online donation checkout
The new "Portal Options -> Settings" areas in the sandbox (and rolling out to live site tomorrow) are great -- lots of customization! I would love to have the ability to edit the "Recognition Name" field name and description from the Checkout area of the donation portal/giving hub. Our donors don't interpret that field in quite the same way our staff do, and we would like to customize how it appears as we can with the Cover CC, Anonymous, and Newsletter fields.

Customize Fund Advisor portal
I propose two key enhancements to the Fund Advisor Portal:
File Upload Feature:
Allow fund advisors to upload files directly through the portal. This would streamline the submission process for grant requests by enabling them to attach relevant documents, such as proposals and supporting materials.
Customizable Fields and Questions:Implement a feature that allows administrators to add or modify questions and fields in the grant request forms. This flexibility would help ensure we gather all necessary information tailored to different grant opportunities and donor requirements.
These improvements would enhance the usability of the portal and facilitate a smoother grant request process for both fund advisors and our team.I propose two key enhancements to the Fund Advisor Portal:
