Internal question groups
It would be nice if we could assign visibility to entire groups of questions, so we could have an "Internal Use Only" group of questions that our applicants can never see. And every question in that group would be "Internal" by default.

show character count to applicant on text boxes
Reposting from
Unfortunately, the text boxes do not show a character count while the applicant is filling them in so they are forced to guess and test their content over and over. This becomes frustrating and causes headaches.
Consistency is key to ease.

Can we have checkboxes for "All" and "Page" selections at the bottom of an application list (right above Batch Action button)
Can we have checkboxes for "All" and "Page" selections at the bottom of an application list (right above Batch Action button)? Right now they are only at the very top of the list. After taking a batch action the page refresh still has the same things selected and to de-select it I have to scroll all the way to the top and then ALL the way to the bottom again to move to the next page of data.

Allow different titles for user who is attached to multiple organizations
As I believe it is currently implemented, a user's account only allows them a single title, but they can be connected to multiple Organization records. A person's title may vary between the organization's they are affiliated with - they may be a Development Director for one organization, but the Board President for another. I would like a person's title to be stored at the User+Organization level, not the User level.

Filter option when looking at organization history.
It would be very helpful to have a filter function when applicants (in our case, organization primary contacts) are viewing their organization history. Right now, they have to sort / scroll past all abandoned applications, cannot filter by date, etc.

Return user email history link to primary user summary page
I check all applicants' email histories when they submit their application, as students frequently misspell their teachers' emails and will not get third party responses unless that gets corrected. With the new user summary page, it's now an extra click to get to the email history, and its location is not at all intuitive.

Flagging Unsupported Characters
Members of my team spent hours on chat trying to troubleshoot why they could not upload files to organizational profiles while I could. The issue at hand was the use of an unsupported character in the file name... the system did not give us any indication of this, nor did support staff ask about the file name. We managed to figure it out on our own.
Would be great to either list unsupported characters in file upload spaces, or to have a pop up message when an unsupported character is preventing file upload.

Allowing a true count of students in a UA under the submitted bucket
When a student submits their General Application in the UA, you can only see a true number count by pulling a report. It would be helpful if those individual students would show up as submitted, since they have submitted a General Application. The drafted students shows correctly, but it shows 0 for submitted when that it not accurate. Right now they just get moved to the individual opportunity immediately instead of showing in the submitted bucket.

Implement a "foldering" system for processes, forms, and email templates
As a high volume organization with many departments deploying grants, the internal user interface is increasingly becoming unwieldy and unorganized. It might be helpful to implement a "foldering" system so different departments/teams can better organize processes, forms, and email templates which look different for each team.

Add Submit Button for Administrators to allow admins to submit follow ups rather than proxying as the applicant .
Add Submit Button for Administrators to allow admins to submit follow ups rather than proxying as the applicant. When you stop proxying, the system throws you completely out of the application to the dashboard. You can place it next to the Email Applicant and Edit Deadline Buttons at the bottom of the follow up page. I get many follow ups from smaller organizations where the tech level is low via email so I have to scan and upload. Then I have to proxy as the user and it is a cumbersome process to have to search for the organization again,…

Thoughts on Renewable Scholarships
As a scholarship admin, I want a way to communicate with students about the renewal requirements for an opportunity within the system.
- can do with email types, but it requires lots of manual workAs a scholarship admin, I want to remove the human review of follow-up forms to verify renewal eligibility.
I want to set rules for if a follow-up should be marked complete and if they don't does it kick back to draft, email the students, etc.
Examples of eligibility criteria for renewal

Can over character limits be formated to be red?
Ok, we all know red means alert. I have so many applicants who get confused about not being able to submit an LOI, Application, or Follow-up due to being over the character limit. There is no visual cue to direct them. Can that please be changed and save me the time of having to figure out what the problem is, having to increase the character count or explain it one more time?

Eligibility Center Overhaul
We use an eligibility quiz on many of our processes and I think the Eligibility Center could use an update.
1. Add the ability to search by Organization Name rather than First and Last Name of the applicant.
2. The Eligibility Results and Eligibility Submissions tabs are similar enough that they should be one tab that allows the administrator to see whether the submission passed or failed, view the answers, and reset/reopen the quiz.
3. There should be a way for a failed submission to show the applicant what question(s) caused it to fail and why (conditional logic text box…4 votes -
Multiple Evaluations in GLM
When looking at the overall process, the user is only allowed two evaluations per process. We have a unique situation where we have areas of community need and are looking to divide up the applications. We were hoping to add more evaluations to four (4) so we can create separate evaluations for a better experience for our reviewers. We were also hoping to create unique evaluations that are more in line with each application that comes through our process.
I am suggesting being able to add more evaluations in each process in case two is NOT enough for the process.

I'd love to be able to copy a question or set of questions
Sometimes I need to create a set of the same question multiple times within the same process/application. For instance, I might need an option to add an address for a second parent/guardian and I don't want to have to create all the address fields again. I'd rather just duplicate the previous group and edit the heading.
A similar solution might be to create a question bank of all fields that have been created within the instance and then be able to select any I'd like to add.

Search Organization by Sort Name
I don't know if there is another way to do this, but the last time this suggestion was posed, only one person voted and it got Archived. :(
What I want to see, is; if an Organization has a name change, that we can still find the organization by the old name. We update the Org. name ourselves (it is in lock down from Applicants/Contacts) and we add into the Sort Name with the new name and then (Formely: Old Org Name). My imagination tells me that we use to be able to search by Sort Name as well, but…

Assign Follow-Ups for Evaluation/Review
Please can we be given the ability to assign follow-ups for review/evaluation to other team members. It would be super helpful if we could do this within the system.

Primary Contact Descriptor
Could there be a small pop-up when your cursor goes over this field that explains how the primary contact works?
Our applicants often think "primary contact" indicates who will receive communications about their application. They frequently email saying they kept trying to change the primary contact and were unsuccessful.
We would like applicants to know that
1) the primary contact is the executive director/officer
2) site administrators control who is the primary contact
3) all communications are sent to the user that submitted an applicationThanks for your suggestions on how best to make this information clear to applicants!

Dual-Screen Process Manager
I want to be able to edit two processes side by side without having to go back and forth.
4 votesHi Steve,
Please tell me more about this need. I assume it is because you are making similar edits to both forms at the same time. Is that correct?
