In line with Trust-Based Philanthropy, more and more foundations are completing verbal reporting with grantees, where the foundation staff completes the written follow-up form based on a conversation with a grantee. We have been doing this as an internal follow-up form, but would like the option for the grantee to view what we've typed into the form and confirm that it is accurate and complete before submitting the report and marking it as complete. Other than downloading each follow-up form packet as a PDF and emailing it to them for their manual feedback, is there a way to either:

  2. We have several stages of evaluation; the two evaluations are not sufficient for us to be able to understand and assess applications effectively. It would be helpful if we could add additional evaluations, as needed, by process.

  3. It would be a huge timesaver if there were an option for Batch Denied applications to be move to Denial Draft.

    If you have a lot of applications, it takes a a very long time to do this one application at a time.

  4. I'd like to request more control over the "Revert Status" function in SLM. Batch revert capability would be wonderful, and also the ability to choose from any stage in the cycle to revert to rather than having to revert one step at a time (i.e. from denied to denial draft, then from denial draft to complete).

  5. We use the Administrator Comments feature to provide draft review feedback to our applicants. Many applicants use the comments, then want us to remove them so that they can create a clean PDF of their completed application. We don't want to delete our comments as that is part of the grant process record, but we also don't want reviewers to be able to see the comments. Right now, our only option is to make all the comments not visible to applicants, proxy as the applicant, download the PDF, then make all the comments visible to the applicant again. This is…

  6. In the Process Manager, I would like to see a button or indication that a scholarship deadline has passed.

    Also, being able to filter scholarships in the process manager would be helpful. This could include filtering by process name, start date, and end date.

  8. I heard from an Evaluator who was frustrated with the view of a grid/table on his evaluator view. As he was working in the side-by-side (evaluator/application) view, he coudln't see any of the content of the (in this case) Student Activities grid. There was content in boxes that he wanted to see but the dropdown carrot took up most of the space and he couldn't read the student replies.
    Getting rid of the carrots would probably help but just in general, some way to better view the contents of a grid format answer would be wonderful.

  9. I would love to have a search option when evaluators are assigned. We have over 150 potential evaluators so it would be helpful to be able to search by name instead of scrolling to find the evaluator's name.

  10. You can currently pull specific question responses for "Passed" eligibility quizzes using the Foundant reporting system (by selecting Approved on pre-filters). However, you cannot pull responses, emails, etc. for those that have "Failed". We would like to analyze those answers, retrieve contact information and other basic functions using Reports for additional follow-up.

  11. We have 20+ scholarships that want applicant names suppressed from applications in the evaluation process. We have always had the student fill out the "Project Name" field with their name. This year, we had everything setup to suppress applicant details from the evaluators, but did not realize that the "Project Name" cannot be suppressed. We had to manually go in and change every student's name to a code in the Project Name field.

    Short of instructing students in the future to not use their name as the project name field, is there any chance the Project Name field could also…

Instead of a site-wide setting of showing the decision status and follow-up forms "x" days after the decision is made, it would be helpful to be able to set a particular DAY the decisions will be visible. This would allow us to approve and assign forms over a span of the scholarship cycle but NOT alert the student until a particular day. We would be able to better communicate with students, and high schools, on when awards will be announced. (Example, I could do the administrative work on our end from April 10th thru 28th, but all notifications and forms…

  13. Would love to have the ability to set a separate due date for third-party responses. For example, student application is due March 15th and the system closes, but third-party due date is March 22nd then automatically closes.

  14. Would love to see a shortcut for going between work pages. For example, if I'm on Follow Ups Draft, and I want to go to LOI drafts, or applications evaluation assigned, I have to click the home button to get back to my dashboard, then into the next work page. If there was a dropdown in the navigation bar (perhaps only for administrators?) "Go To...) then a list of pages, we could go directly without bouncing back and forth across the dashboard. Not critical, but (especially on days when the site is running slowly) that extra step really adds up…

  15. If custom fields are created on the registration form for organizations OR applicants, currently those fields are not available to be added in Custom Columns. It would be really helpful to have this functionality for visibility when coding payments, classifying applicants, and for eligibility.

  17. During a grant cycle, we will have a dozen or so requests that are abandoned. It would be helpful to have a category on the dashboard to show the number from that process that were abandoned just the same as you can see approved or denied.

  18. Asking an applicant to compose an email to their anonymous third party is an extra step that overcomplicates things. The applicant has to deal with opening up an email interface, copy-pasting a pre-written message, etc. And for what? It's redundant to send the third party an email explaining that they'll be getting another email.

    It should work like references on a resume. Provide us with the third party's email address, and we'll contact them ourselves. Simple as.

  19. Once the student hits submit on the UA, is there a way to change the font color of those opportunities that have additional information pending. Currently everything is black or blue, would like to change the "EDIT APPLICATION" to RED to catch the students eye.

  20. Changing American spelling for Australian clients for Organization and Recognized. (S instead of Z) Currently this is on the payment page for a donation but I am sure there are other spellings throughout the platform and GLM. For our Australian clients/donors it looks like we have spelt it wrong.
