Adding Additional Contacts
Perhaps I'm missing something, but I would like to be able to add additional contacts to a request, without assigning them a password to log in. We use the cc/bc option a lot in our letters and the only way I can see to add these additional contacts requires me creating them, which them prompts the assignment of a password and them subsequently receiving an email about their account creation. Can there be a way to just add additional contacts that we can choose to merge with documents when we create them?

Merge Document for Multiple Processes
Because our applications differ by grant type, we have set our processes up by foundation and then by grant type. So for one foundation, we may have five or six different processes. The Board will review all foundation requests at the same time. It would be nice to be able to run a merge document for multiple requests across multiple processes. This would save us a tremendous amount of time when generating award/declination letters.

Administrator Comments vs Applicant Viewing Administrator comments
In the past few months, I've seen a high increase in applicants emailing and calling saying they cannot find the "Administrator Comment" when I revert back to draft, so I logged back in as the applicant to see what the sudden confusion is - it's incredibly hard to find in the applicant view! When I MAKE an administrator comment, there is a blue highlighted strip across the top. When I log in as the applicant, there is just a little vertical bar, with text smaller than regular instructions. A lot of our applicants are elderly, and it's been very time…

More than one "after Due Date" follow-up
It would be helpful to have the option to add another "after Due Date" automatic email to Follow-ups. Right now only "To Assignee 7 days after Due Date" is available and we'd like a "To Assignee 14 days after Due Date" as well.

Add titles to reports
It would be great if there was a way to give a report a title, so it is print-ready. Currently, I export it as a pdf and then add the title there. Without Adobe Acrobat Pro, I wouldn't be able to do that, so I would think this is a challenge for those who don't have it.

Invalidating data in a field
Prevent invalid data in a field with a stop alert. It would be great if you could invalidate an applicant's improper entry in a field. For instance, if a certain org. budget size is an eligibility criterion, It'd be great if non-confirming entries got a "stop" message to refer back to instructions, guidelines, contact staff with questions, etc. So if an award cycle is intended for orgs. with budgets less than say $200K, it would offer an alert or error message to the applicant for any figure above that amount.

Printing out emails
It would be very helpful if I could print out sent emails from the GMS. My workaround is to copy myself on my email templates but I'd like the ability to go and print out any sent emails, as needed.

Staff Evaluators email
We have evaluators that email our applicants outside of Foundant and then copy and paste it into their evaluation. It would be useful if we had the ability to be able to choose if we would like the staff evaluator to have the ability to email through Foundant.

Add a link to Organization Summary from Request Summary
Since the contact information was moved to a tab, when you click into the request you are defaulted to the "request" tab, and have to click to the "contact" tab in order to get back to the organization summary (or tell what organization you are looking at). I am generally back and forth to different things and it is frustrating to not be able to look at the request summary screen and a) know what organization I am looking at a request for without clicking the "contact" tab and b) be able to navigate back to the Organization summary without…

Copy Process without attached follow-ups
When we copy a process we would like the option of whether or not to attach the follow-ups that are a part of the process. Our grants are 2 to 3 years long and the follow-ups will never be utilized in the same format. Current format creates a lot of extra work to delete all the follow-ups.

Request ID Visible
We often have project names that are the same or very similar making it really hard for our Finance department to know if they are making a payment on the right grant or staff to know if we are closing the correct one. We are familiar with the request ID being something we can pull on reports and then hoover over the bottom of the screen to verify that we're in the correct grant when performing of these tasks, but it would be extremely helpful if that request ID could be visible maybe somewhere on the Award Details tab or…

Email to Grants Manager when follow-up is complete
We have matching grants as part of a Foundant process, and we send the match payment after we receive the final report Follow-up. It would be nice to have the system automatically generate a notification to our grants manager when the Program Officers have marked the follow-up as complete.

Board Member Access to Follow Up Reports
The process to access Follow Up reports for our board members is certainly cumbersome, and discourages board members from using the online data (read this as I have to produce paper copies of each follow-up). A folder on their Dashboard would be helpful; and at a minimum, it would be useful to have a "Return to Follow Ups Submitted" option, so that they don't have to go all the way back to Requests and Decisions to pull up each report.

It would be very helpful to have batch abandon/deny in the Follow Up Drafts bucket.
If our students do not complete their updates they are terminated. It's very cumbersome and time consuming to have to go into each follow up in draft and click abandon.

Constituent Resource Management (CRM)
Currently, I'm using SalesForce to track all interactions with people who are not connected with a grant. I meet with many folks and would love to track my meetings, phone calls, etc. I would love to use Foundant for everything.

list the actual payment date rather than the award due date in the award details of the request summary.
Seeing the due date instead of the actual payment date leads everyone to believe that was when the payment was made, especially since there is nothing that explains that date. In most cases, it is not and, unless they drill down to find the actual payment date, they assume that it is.

Set up an administrator notification for when evaluations are completed
We have our evals set up to get management approval of submitted grants before we proceed with processing them. I'd love to get a notification that the evals were completed to serve as a prompt for me to log in and move the application forward.
